“❤️ Montana was absolutely excellent! She was wonderful with my baby boy Hudson. Sent me pictures every day. She’s also a great communicator and goes above and beyond if needed! This was our first time but not the last! Thank you Montana!❤️”

“Norah was quick to reply and set up a meet and greet! She was friendly and my boys warmed up to her quickly. She was happy to adapt to their needs and my requests and I feel that they are in good hands while with their new “friend”!”

About: Your babies will be cared for and loved just as if they were my own. I absolutely love and adore my pets and all animals. I have a super sweet, fun loving 70 pound vizsla/labradoodle named Jasper who is amazing and just loves the water, cuddling, playing catch and playing with other dogs. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your dog (dogs) for a day visit or long weekend. Please let know if they do not care for cats so I can keep mine put away. In my 20’s I worked as a dog groomer and boarded animals at my home (sometimes for a month at a time). They became family to me.. Then there is Zeke my 10 year old hairless (declawed) cat. He loves to be out on the enclosed porch mostly but loves cuddles on his terms. If your dog does not love cats I can keep him away, but he will probably stay away on his own. I currently work full time as a nurse but am off no later than 2:00 on Fridays. I am available for the weekends only from 2 PM Friday until Sunday evenings. (Everyone deserves a long weekend away)…I do have a lot of vacation time so there could possibly be other days also, please ask if you need another time or day and I will let you know if I’m available. I will keep my calendar up to date on my availability. I do have a small fenced in yard with plenty of tree cover for shade and a kiddie splash pool to play in. I do allow pets on my furniture and bed if they desire. I will separate the dogs when it is feeding time to assure safety. If your fur baby stays 2 or more days I will give them a bath at the end of their stay if you request it, free of charge let me know if any allergies 🛁

“Denise was great! This was my first time using Rover and she made it so simple and explained everything very well. She was always on time and spent the allotted time with my pups and often more! No complaints! Will use her again next time I need a sitter!!”

“Channing was amazing! I was nervous leaving my animals with someone I didn’t know. I had never used an app for this before. My animals were so happy when we got home and my house was spotless. She kept me informed on my fur babies the entire Trip! She’s the best! Thank you Channing!!”

“Jennifer is amazing! Our babies were very happy, she loved them up for us while we were gone & took great care of them. Would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing someone & will surely wish to have her take care of our babies again. To note, this was very last minute as our plans changed & she provided us comfort before & during our absence knowing they were being loved up & well taken care of. Thanks Jennifer”

About: Hi! I’m Katie, a lifelong animal lover dedicated to providing dependable, loving care for your pets. I’ve had cats and dogs as part of my family since I was in third grade, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Through the years, I’ve gained experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. While I currently have two dogs, I’ve also owned and cared for cats for many years. Unfortunately, my children are allergic to cats, so I can’t have them in my home anymore, but I still adore them and am comfortable caring for them. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I pride myself on being dependable, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or simply keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine while giving you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I do work Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-4:30 pm. I can do a drop in before work and do a drop in after work and again in the evenings. On the weekends I am able to be more flexible with drop ins. I will take care of my client’s pets in their home and take great care of their home & pets. This includes cleaning up any messes the pets make while their parents are away.
“Amanda was a great sitter, at first i was a little worry about my cat since i haven't left him alone for so long and he was just used to only see me so i did not know what reaction expect from him, but i book amanda 2 days before i left for a trip so they both can meet each other and have some familiarity and it work perfectly i left for 15 days and she was very attentive with jett making sure he feel secure with her, she also send me videos and pictures of him playing and on the balcony (he loves taking fresh air) everyday and she always let me know what was going on with him, like if he's eating , drinking water or going as usual to the litter box. the best part of it all was that he had a great time with amanda and when i came back from my trip, was that i find him as if i never left. I could tell he have a lots of fun with amanda playing because thats all he wanted me to do with him when i arrive back home.... Thank you so much amanda for helping me sitting my cat Jett. I would recommend amanda with my eyes close ♥”

About: I grew up with multiple kinds of animals, mostly dogs. I’ve dog sat for friends and family and they have all loved me with their furry friends. I currently work at a restaurant so my schedule is different every week but I’m usually available to dog watch at your home in the mornings and afternoons before 4pm. I will let them outside to play frequently if you have a fenced in yard. If not, I’ll take them for walks and let them “do their thing” as we walk. I’ll play with them and give them treats as long as it’s okay and feed them if need be or if asked to.
“Allie was so great with our dog Smokey! He is usually pretty slow to warm up to strangers, but Allie did so well with him and he was so happy to see her from the first visit on. We would definitely use her dog sitting services again! Very reliable, sent many pictures, and took great care of our dog while we were out of town!”

“Lisa is such a sweetheart & did such a wonderful job with Blue! Blue had a great time with her & she clearly cares about animals. She was so kind & would always send photos or videos of our Blue, it was so reassuring to see how happy she was & in good hands while we were away. We would higher her again in a heartbeat & highly recommend such an awesome woman! Oh, she also gives massages which were super awesome!”

About: I’ve had pets for the last 26 years. Two cats that lived to be 18 and 20 years old. I currently have one Australian Labradoodle three years old and two cats, Olive and Luna. I work from home so my pets get to go outside and enjoy love and attention during the day. I walk them for a few minutes during the day and ensure they can go outside when they need it. I don’t have a fence yard. I like to walk my dog with a leash. I don’t like to let my dog wonder around because in Florida you don’t know what insects or other animals could hurt them. I rather stay close to my pets to supervise them and ensure they are safe.

“I had to stay out of town a bit longer than expected, so I was immediately worried about getting my cat check on. I chatted with Jordan in the morning, and she was over at my house caring for my cat only a few hours later. She sent me photos, and updated me every step of the time she was there. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I'll definitely have Jordon stop by from here on out when I can't be home. Thank you so much ?”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve had dogs my entire life, so being around them has always been second nature to me. Friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me to dog sit, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with every dog I meet. I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and will always provide plenty of affection, exercise, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is in good hands. I just graduated college so I have a lot of down time to take care of your babies. I would love to be able to be a safe place for people to leave their pets. However you like your babies cared for, I’m happy to accommodate! Whether that’s going for a walk, playing in the yard, or simply letting them out for a potty break!

About: I have been a cat mom and dog mom, so I am very equipped to handle all types of unique personalities! I know how to make them feel comfortable, and figure out exactly what they need. I currently work part time, so I am very available to prioritize your pets needs! I have a flexible schedule, and am eager to help! I want to treat your pet and your home with respect! Being a cat mom myself, I know how special our furbabies are, and will make sure they are well taken care of, and that you are kept up to date the whole time.
“Eni was fantastic with our Shepherd, Griffin! She came for a meet-and-greet, took notes, and asked great questions. She also showed up wearing a pouch of dog treats, which made her fast friends with our pup. As a vet, I am very picky about who watches our dog, but as a digital nomad, we have to find pet sitters in each new city we visit. I wish they were all as wonderful as Eni! I highly recommend her. She was always on time for her visits and left us detailed report cards. Our dog was happy and relaxed whenever we returned home!”

I used Channing for the first time to care for my boy, Mittens. She watched him for over 3 weeks and I have nothing but praise for her. She took such great care of him. Sent me photos and updates every day. He has a sensitive stomach and usually has Gastro incidences when I’m gone. He was so comfortable with her that he didn’t have any of those. That’s a first!! She must truly be the Pet whisperer. I honestly believe he loves her more than me! I will certainly be using Channing again if/when I travel. She is a sweetheart.

Tara did such a great job with Annabel’s care. She was thorough, conscientious, and went above and beyond to make sure my kitty had everything she needed. He communication was detailed and prompt. I will hope she is available when Annabel needs care in the future.

Amanda was absolutely fantastic and saved us in a pinch when another sitter stopped responding the day before our trip! She was so accommodating and took amazing care of our two kitties! They loved her right away and she loved them like we would have. She communicated so well and sent photos to update us and was truly pleasant to work with! So glad we found a sitter here we can trust! Will definitely be booking her next time we travel!

Catlyn was both professional and friendly. She followed directions to the letter and did a wonderful job keeping me informed daily. My Lily doesn't care for strangers but she really took a liking to Catlyn, that speaks volumes to me. I will definitely hire Catlyn again when the need arises. Thanks for everything Catlyn ❤️🐈⬛

Jennifer was AMAZING! I have a 9 year old pittie who has some behavior issues when meeting new people and she handled it SO GOOD and had so much patience. She took care of him like he was her own during her drop him visits with him, and I will definitely be booking with her again! Thank you so much Jennifer!

- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
