“Christine was wonderful to our fur babys!!! She took excellent care of them, spent plenty of time with them and we saw daily update pictures of them which put our mind at ease and made it very easy to be away from our dog and cat! Thank you Christine! We will definately call on you again for our next trip!!”

“Angela has provided drop-in visits to our two girls on two occasions. They really enjoy the visits, and we feel comfortable going away knowing that our girls are well cared for. Angela is punctual and dependable. I highly recommend Angela.”

I work full time from home. We also have a large property where your fur baby will have plenty of space to be very comfortable! And we go on frequent walks. We have a fenced in yard and patio area. About: I have a special gift for earning the trust of shy, anxious, and hard-to-win-over cats—it's why many people call me a cat whisperer.. here's a little about me.... I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently share my home with four cats and have spent my entire life around animals. Many people call me a "cat whisperer" because I have a special ability to connect with shy, fearful, and independent cats. I love helping nervous pets feel safe and comfortable, and I've seen many reserved or unfriendly cats become affectionate and trusting with patience and understanding. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and overnight care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm and quiet approach, I tailor my care to their individual needs. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and deserves to be treated with kindness, respect, and love. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind while providing dependable care, companionship, exercise, and plenty of attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work part-time as a caregiver for the elderly and take care of animals in my spare time. Most of the clients I work with have pets which I tend to as well. I am around animals pretty much around the clock and absolutely love it. ❤️ When I'm working with clients, I give as much attention to their pets as I do to them. I am a highly sought-after caregiver due to my attentiveness to their animals and the love and care I give them. I treat each and every one as if they were my own pet. I pay attention to their individual needs and wants.
About: I grew up around animals and have always loved them. I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for years and have experience with pets of all different personalities and needs. I’ve also fostered dogs through my local humane society, which has given me experience helping nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable, giving medications when needed, and getting to know what makes each pet feel safe and happy. I currently work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility and am able to spend plenty of time with your pets. I’m available for house sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, and giving your pets some extra attention while you’re away. I love going on walks, playing, cuddling, or just hanging out with pets. I’m happy to follow their normal routine and make sure they get the kind of care they’re used to. I know it can be hard to leave your pets with someone else, so I’ll always do my best to make the experience as easy as possible for both you and your pet. I’m very communicative and will send lots of pictures and updates while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel comfortable knowing your pet is being well taken care of, getting lots of love, and having a good time while you’re gone. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own (and definitely spoil them a little, too!) 🐾 Pet care is naturally a part of my everyday life! Since I currently work from home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day and have a flexible schedule for walks and visits. I’m very active and love getting outside, so I’m always happy to go on walks, play, or just spend some time keeping your pet company. I’m also more than happy to follow their usual routine, whether that means a long walk, some playtime, lots of cuddles, or simply having someone around. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and will make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves to be treated with love, respect, and patience. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that’s tailored specifically to them. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep them happy, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in caring hands.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Venice
Devon has taken care of my cats for me a couple times and I absolutely recommend her. She is the first cat sitter I’ve ever booked and I will continue to book with her in the future. I come home to happy kitties with full food bowls, fresh water, and clean litter. She goes above and beyond and I could not be more thankful!

Keisha took care of our sweet Samantha for 6 days. Samantha was content, playful, loving during our absence. Keisha send pictures twice a day from her visits and that was a great thing to see her each day. We could not have asked for anything better. Keisha even brought in our mail. Thank you Keisha for your loving care.

Tracy was an absolute blessing!! She took amazing care of my 2 cats while I traveled out of state. I received updates and pictures with each visit. It was so comforting knowing my boys where well taken care of while I couldn't be there. If I ever have to leave them again, I will be sure to rebook Tracy with Rover! Thank you Tracy!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
