“Christine did an amazing job looking after our pets while we were away. The pets were happy and everything was perfect at home when we returned. I will definitely hire Christine again”

About: In regards to my experience with personal pet care. From a young age, I have raised and help nurture animals in all stages of their life. Along with dogs I have provided care for other animals such as: Cats, Fish, and Horses of various shapes and sizes. LGBTQIA friendly 💖🏳️🌈 I am currently a Freelance Character Designer and Illustrator, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Let me know what's up and I'll probably be down. I care for your pets as if they were my own. Your pets wellbeing and comfort is a top priority! Also I maintain and keep schedules and plans in place for your pet; along with monitoring health, behavior and notifying pet parents of any change that arises while in my care. I want to be 100% transparent with everything that goes on in your absence to keep you at a peace of mind.
“I highly recommend Christina. She was quick to respond to our last minute request for a drop in visit. It really helped us out in our hour of need. She took lots of photos and I can tell our boys loved her visit with them.”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life so I have a lot of experience caring for them. They become my family and I love them dearly. I treat them better than most people treat their children. I would do anything for them, and I would treat any other pet the exact same way, as if they were my own. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard, great for running and playing. I live in a safe neighborhood with large sidewalks that are great for afternoon walks. I have a standard poodle and a mini-poodle who love to run and play together, they would make your pet feel welcomed and right at home. I also have two cats that are very friendly and loves the dogs. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around visits, ensuring, consistent, reliable care, timely walks, feedings, and regular updates. I follow each pets routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and playtime. I maintain a clean, safe environment and provide regular updates for peace of mind.
“Thank you Tara. Our 2 dogs were well taken care of. I appreciate booking her last minute. We usually can have family watch our pups, but we will definitely call Tara again if we need a sitter.”

About: Hello 👋 My daughter and I love caring for other fur babies and loving them as if they are our own. We know how important it is to your pets to give them the proper attention and play they deserve. I’ve grown up with rabbits, cats, and dogs. My first job in 5th grade was walking “Mike” the dog daily and I’ve continued to care for other pets over the years. I work throughout the week with flexibility to walk pups in the morning and evening. Weekends completely off to go on adventures with your fur baby. We love traveling to parks, dog beaches, and even for pup cups! I have a fenced in yard with artificial grass that dogs love to spend time sun bathing. A doggy pool so they can cool down in the Summer’s heat. A large dog park minutes away by foot so your loved one can socialize and run around with other dogs as well. If they choose not to do a dog park then plenty of space to be walked around the neighborhood taking in fresh scents.
“Sharon is outstanding! Super reliable and very confident! She took awesome care of my little buddy that is handicapped with a neurological issues. Highest recommendation that I can give!”

About: I grew up around animals and have always loved them. I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for years and have experience with pets of all different personalities and needs. I’ve also fostered dogs through my local humane society, which has given me experience helping nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable, giving medications when needed, and getting to know what makes each pet feel safe and happy. I currently work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility and am able to spend plenty of time with your pets. I’m available for house sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, and giving your pets some extra attention while you’re away. I love going on walks, playing, cuddling, or just hanging out with pets. I’m happy to follow their normal routine and make sure they get the kind of care they’re used to. I know it can be hard to leave your pets with someone else, so I’ll always do my best to make the experience as easy as possible for both you and your pet. I’m very communicative and will send lots of pictures and updates while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel comfortable knowing your pet is being well taken care of, getting lots of love, and having a good time while you’re gone. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own (and definitely spoil them a little, too!) 🐾 Pet care is naturally a part of my everyday life! Since I currently work from home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day and have a flexible schedule for walks and visits. I’m very active and love getting outside, so I’m always happy to go on walks, play, or just spend some time keeping your pet company. I’m also more than happy to follow their usual routine, whether that means a long walk, some playtime, lots of cuddles, or simply having someone around. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and will make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves to be treated with love, respect, and patience. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that’s tailored specifically to them. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep them happy, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in caring hands.

“Anna B. is the best! We are so fortunate to have found her through Rover. Anna took good care of our cat while we were gone for the week. She took care of his needs and constantly updated me with photos and messages. While taking care of him, my cat needed veterninary care. She did not hesitate to bring him for an exam. Anna is a kind and compassionate person who loves animals. You will not be disappointed if you choose her to take care of your pet. The next time we go out of town, we will definitely call upon her services. We couldn't ask for anyone better for the job. Thank you Anna for taking such good care of my fur baby.”

I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently share my home with four cats and have spent my entire life around animals. Many people call me a "cat whisperer" because I have a special ability to connect with shy, fearful, and independent cats. Aimee was very kind and professional! She showed up on time and did a meet and greet with me and our pets. You could tell she loves animals. She came on time for the visit and also stayed the whole time and sent updates. Will definitely be using her again in the future!

Devon has taken care of my cats for me a couple times and I absolutely recommend her. She is the first cat sitter I’ve ever booked and I will continue to book with her in the future. I come home to happy kitties with full food bowls, fresh water, and clean litter. She goes above and beyond and I could not be more thankful!

Amanda really went the extra mile and handled everything perfectly. My cat is a real scaredy cat , put her through the paces & pulled some real Houdini tricks , she managed to deal with it with a pleasant demeanor, hopefully wasn't too much & will return. , Thanks
Keisha took care of our sweet Samantha for 6 days. Samantha was content, playful, loving during our absence. Keisha send pictures twice a day from her visits and that was a great thing to see her each day. We could not have asked for anything better. Keisha even brought in our mail. Thank you Keisha for your loving care.

What a wonderful month+ for Scout. Dana, you have a friend for life! I am also feeling very fortunate to have you in charge of Scout while we traveled to see family in CA. I can not thank you enough for the tender loving care you gave Scout to let me visit family for 6 weeks. It was a long time, but I think she loved her time with Dana!! 🩷

Tracy was an absolute blessing!! She took amazing care of my 2 cats while I traveled out of state. I received updates and pictures with each visit. It was so comforting knowing my boys where well taken care of while I couldn't be there. If I ever have to leave them again, I will be sure to rebook Tracy with Rover! Thank you Tracy!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
