About: I’ve had pets since I was a young girl. There was always a dog and cats in the house, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I recently lost my dog to old age, and I really miss that daily companionship, which is why I’d love to help care for other people’s pets. I’ve pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors over the years, and now I’m ready to open that up to more families. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I have two cats of my own. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and sitting during the week and weekends, and I can adjust to your pet’s routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. I have a fenced backyard, and pets are always supervised when they’re outside. Most of the day they’ll be with me, so they’re not left alone for long. I handle all feeding, walks, and care myself to keep things consistent and done right. I have two cats that are indoor and outdoor. They’re friendly and used to being around other animals, but they mostly keep to themselves and won’t bother your pet. My home is calm, clean, and safe. My kids are gentle and love animals, and I always make sure interactions are respectful and supervised. I treat every pet like my own and do my best to make them feel comfortable and at home while you’re away.

Being very particular, I only wanted my precious Pierre to be in the care of one woman to care for him. Bittersweet, it took several sitters to find the perfect person... Carrie, you are so amazing. What a relief to find you and we do not want to lose you either! While we were out of town, our last trip, the previous sitter did not stay with our precious Pierre as we paid her to do so. It certainly pays to purchase a Canary camera and to also listen to your neighbors! Carrie, it was a blessing that you were available to get him at last minute and give him the attention he needed. Our week away in July was relieving and relaxing knowing that our Pierre was in your care. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us at last minute and being there for our sweet little four legged boy. He was so relaxed and calm when we arrived home. This validated how comfortable and happy he was in your care. Muah!!”

I believe pets thrive when their normal routines are respected, so I do my best to keep everything familiar and stress-free. I treat each home with the same respect and care I’d want someone to show in mine. I’m mindful about security—making sure doors are locked, alarms are set (if needed), and pets are safely inside before I leave. I also love sending updates and cute photos, so you know your pet is happy and in good hands while you’re away!
