“Jamie took wonderful care of my aging Molly. I’m not so sure she missed me that much 😊 She sent me text and videos every day. I would certainly call her again when I need a sitter.”

“Kayla was the best dog sitter we could have asked for! She took care of our 18.5 yo dog with so much attention and understanding; Duke has some quirks and special needs, he was in such good hands with Kayla. We were in town for my brothers wedding, Kayla made our anxious dog felt at ease the moment he met her. She stayed with him for the whole time we were at wedding festivities, took him on walks in his stroller, hand fed him, took care of his medication, and we could tell Duke loved her!! We will definitely be asking Kayla to watch Duke next time we are in town. Thank you Kayla!!”

“Kai was excellent with our two dogs. We were gone during tropical storm Debbie and she had everything under control. The house was in great shape when we got home and she had even offered to stay an extra night if our flights were delayed. We will definitely hire Kai again!”

“Absolutely so appreciative for her care for our pup while we were gone. She took care of our house and cleaned so nicely when she left. We are so happy we found her. It puts our mind at ease knowing she will be with our lil guy when we cannot.”

“Danielle was amazing! She kept me informed on how my dogs are doing and she made sure to give my elder dog her medication in the mornings and at night and sometimes during the day if she needed it. Danielle was very responsive and she kept my house, clean and tidy, definitely use her again”

About: I have always had dogs or cats in my life until recently when my senior dog passed away. Now I'm focusing 100% of my love and caring on client pets! In addition to caring for dogs and cats, I am also an animal communicator, and an energy healing facilitator for people and pets. I have a special place in my heart for senior cats and dogs, with a focus on increasing their comfort and decreasing stress. Your dog or cat are my priority and I will work with you to provide the love and care he/she needs. I do require a meet and greet prior to the first walk or visit. This ensures we are both comfortable with the arrangements and the care your pet needs. If you live farther away, we can do the meet and greet via zoom. Smoke-free households only please. I am self-employed, work from home, and flexible with my schedule. I appreciate longterm, repeat customers. I am available for staying overnight and daily visits. I care for your pet in your home only. I am pro-active in noticing what your pet needs and communicating to advocate for wellness and stress relief.

“Allison was great! She took such great care of our older dog who unfortunately had lots of anxiety while we were gone. She texted with us often reassuring us that everything was fine and sent lots of pictures. We felt very comfortable leaving her with Allison and would definitely use her again.”

“Rae is amazing with my two pups! From the moment I met her I could tell not only were they very relaxed and comfortable with her, but I was too! She caters to the one “white Velcro” pup and deals with her energy just as I do! It’s nice to have finally found someone where I am not stressed and anxious leaving my doggos with! I highly recommend and will be using her in the future!”

“It was so nice to have two great people taking care of walter while I was in texas visiting my son and daughter in law. I felt so at ease which made my trip that more enjoyable.”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and I feel truly lucky to have the time to care for them. Over the years, I’ve had both dogs and a cat (though not all at once!), and I’ve come to really understand the unique personalities and needs of each. Whether your pet needs a walk, some one-on-one playtime, or overnight care, I’m happy to help in whatever way works best for you and your little one. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m always open to special requests or routines that help them feel safe and loved ❤️ I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I have several completely free days, and when I do work, it’s just a short daytime shift. That means I can be there for your pet as often as you need — whether it’s for regular visits, extended stays, or anything in between. I understand that letting someone into your home to care for your pet is a big deal, and I don’t take that trust lightly. I treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own, and your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m there for a quick visit or an overnight stay, you can count on me to be reliable, gentle, and fully present with your pet. I’m always happy to follow your instructions closely and keep you updated, so you can have total peace of mind while you’re away.

“Let me first begin by saying that Shannon was amazing, I was beyond thrilled with my experience. After a previously beyond awful experience leaving my yorkie with another Rover I was very hesitant to try again but a neighbor of mine recommended the house sitting option instead. After a bit of digging around to find the right person, I found Shannon. My husband I met with her prior to our trip out of town and instantly knew she was perfect for our Bethany. Shannon is a very kind hearted and responsible person and was instantly our first choice for our little princess. I left a some notes about Beth related to feeding, walks, potty times etc. and she definitely followed them to the T. We kept in touch via text the whole time and I got plenty of super happy pictures which really put my mind at ease. They went on a few long walks every day too so exercise was definitely not an issue at all! Shannon did the laundry for the guest bedroom and bathroom, took the trash out and there wasn’t even a dish in the sink when we got home! It was so so wonderful to come home to a relaxed furbaby after being away for 5 days and truly not having anything to worry about. We will ABSOLUTELY be booking with Shannon again next time we’re headed out of town! It is a truly fantastic feeling to know that my furbaby is being taken care of the way I take care of her even when I can’t be there.”

“She was great with our dog on both walks and house sitting. Great experience!”

“Great communication, and left the house perfect after 4 days of pet sittting!”

About: I recently relocated to Sarasota, FL from Boston after many years of caring for pets back home. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have had my own pets for over 20 years, giving me a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. I currently share my home with two cats and a dog, so I’m familiar with the daily joys and responsibilities of pet care. Over the years, I’ve also pet-sat for friends, neighbors, family, and colleagues, caring for their cats and dogs with the same love and attention I give my own. I specialize in thoughtful, loving care for pets of all ages and personalities—from playful puppies to senior dogs, and curious kittens to shy adult cats. I also volunteer as a cat socializer at a local animal shelter, helping nervous or anxious cats gain trust and confidence. ****While I’m new to Rover as a sitter, I’ve been a trusted pet caregiver outside the app for years and can provide references if needed. I’ve also used Rover myself as a pet parent, so I understand how important clear communication, respecting routines, and truly connecting with your pets are.**** Whether it’s a dog who loves long walks or a cat who needs a calm presence, I bring reliability, patience, and a deep love for animals to every booking. I have a very open and flexible schedule, which lets me give pets the time and attention they truly deserve. Working remotely throughout the day means I can easily accommodate pets who need extra companionship, custom routines, or even last-minute bookings. My dog and two cats keep me on a regular pet care rhythm—walks, meals, playtime, and plenty of interaction are already part of my daily life! I believe pets thrive when they can stay in their familiar environment, so I’m happy to care for them right in their home where they feel safest. I’m very respectful of each pet’s existing routine—whether that’s specific feeding times, walks, medication, or bedtime rituals- I do my best to keep everything consistent and stress-free. I offer both drop-in visits and overnight stays, depending on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s a quick check-in for a midday walk or staying overnight for full-time companionship, I make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages, so you can feel connected and confident every step of the way!!

6. Libah Jane G.
“Libah was a great help to my Sierra -- and all over the phone! Sierra seemed to survive many lives but this time, after falling off the bed with apparently no broken bones. Still, she wouldn't come out of the corner of our Lanai. She would drink water and eat a bit if I brought it to her -- but not much. I gave Libah a picture of her, answered some questions and voila, within a few hours -- I tell you that cat picked up and seemed fine. She continued to heal until a few years later, with a urinary infection with antibiotics and diagnosed with kidney dysfunction, she couldn't stand - and seemed lost. With light therapy suggested, again -- voila, within hours she was standing. Libah has intuitive knowledge that goes beyond me. She was certainly fabulous at connecting with Sierra, my Calico of 18 years.”
