“Karen did an amazing job at our home with our 3 cats during a 17 day vacation. She came to meet our pets before we left and they were comfortable with her immediately. When we returned home, the house was clean and pets were happy and healthy, and they were brushed (3 long hair cats). One cat needed medicine twice daily which was no problem for Karen. She sent photos or videos every day to let us see how they were doing and they seemed relaxed and playful with her. We enjoyed our time away and weren't concerned about our home or pets because we knew they were in good hands. We feel that Karen is conscientious and trustworthy, and she is a true animal lover. We were lucky to find such a great pet sitter, and will definitely ask her to stay with our pets in the future. :)”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a young girl. There was always a dog and cats in the house, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I recently lost my dog to old age, and I really miss that daily companionship, which is why I’d love to help care for other people’s pets. I’ve pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors over the years, and now I’m ready to open that up to more families. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I have two cats of my own. I’m patient, attentive, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m home most of the day, so I have a flexible schedule and can give your pet plenty of attention and care. I’m an active person and enjoy going on walks, so dogs will get plenty of movement and time outside. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and sitting during the week and weekends, and I can adjust to your pet’s routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. I have a fenced backyard, and pets are always supervised when they’re outside. Most of the day they’ll be with me, so they’re not left alone for long. I handle all feeding, walks, and care myself to keep things consistent and done right. I have two cats that are indoor and outdoor. They’re friendly and used to being around other animals, but they mostly keep to themselves and won’t bother your pet. My home is calm, clean, and safe. My kids are gentle and love animals, and I always make sure interactions are respectful and supervised. I treat every pet like my own and do my best to make them feel comfortable and at home while you’re away.

This flexibility gives me the opportunity to accommodate your pet’s needs and routine as closely as possible. Weekend availability is typically open as well. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I will carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any special requests you may have. I am also happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is receiving excellent care while you are away. My schedule is very flexible to be able to care for your fur babies on your time frame. The weekends I typically have open availability. I live in a single family home with a large fenced in yard. I have three dogs that love to run and play! We have a dog park 5 minutes from our home that we enjoy going to. I have two children that love playing tug of war and fetch with the dogs! My husband also enjoys cuddling the fur babies just as much as I do if not more!

My sweet special-needs cat, Tiny, required twice-daily medication, probiotics, and a special IBD-friendly diet, so I’m confident with senior and medical care. When I’m doing drop-in visits, my #1 priority is making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. I always follow your care instructions to the letter—whether that’s meal portions, meds, favorite toys, or specific potty routines. I believe pets thrive when their normal routines are respected, so I do my best to keep everything familiar and stress-free. I treat each home with the same respect and care I’d want someone to show in mine. I’m mindful about security—making sure doors are locked, alarms are set (if needed), and pets are safely inside before I leave. I also love sending updates and cute photos, so you know your pet is happy and in good hands while you’re away! I know it takes a lot of trust to invite someone into your home to care for your pet, and I don’t take that lightly.
