“Catlyn did a great job with my 3 babies. They're a bit high maintenance but that didn't faze her a bit. Great communication and we received text updates and pics. We'll definitely use her again.”
“Debra always takes great care of our 2 Maltese senior dogs. They love her and we feel they are in good hands with her. Beau needs medication and gives it on time to him. As well as baths to both. She stays at our house and it is clean and neat when she leaves. Would recommend her.”

“Tatianna took wonderful care of my dog while I was out for the evening. She arrived on time, then walked him on one of the coldest nights of the year, gave him treats, and paid lots of attention to him. I will not hesitate to have Tatianna come back again.”

“I booked Jennifer just a few days before my week-long vacation after my original sitter canceled. Thankfully, she was available and incredibly accommodating. She sent me several updates each day about my senior dog, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I returned home, my house was spotless!”

“Christine was amazing with our furniture babies and able to roll seamlessly with the craziness of our needs, including an ear infection just before we left resulting in the need to administer medications and assisting with our flock of chickens. Would definitely recommend.”

“She was great!! Perfectly communicative and sent us lots of updates on our baby! She is super passionate about animals and growing her business! I’m happy to support Haylie’s business !!”

“Allie was great. Our pups and Kitties were well cared for and our house was as if no one had been there Allie stayed in close touch even though we were over seas We felt safe being away with Allie tending to all the pets, including the fish, dogs and kitties”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve had dogs my entire life, so being around them has always been second nature to me. Friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me to dog sit, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with every dog I meet. I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and will always provide plenty of affection, exercise, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is in good hands. I just graduated college so I have a lot of down time to take care of your babies. I would love to be able to be a safe place for people to leave their pets. However you like your babies cared for, I’m happy to accommodate! Whether that’s going for a walk, playing in the yard, or simply letting them out for a potty break!
“Eni far exceeded my expectations. She is extremely professional and not only loves dogs she knows how to handle them well and adjusts accordingly. She left my house tidy and clean and my doggos very happy, and well cared for. I will be using her services regularly.”

About: Anyone who knows me would first say, I have so much passion for Dogs and cats. They will be so well cared for in my hands. I work for home about 3 hours a day so I have plenty of time for my passion. Your pet will have the best day with me. I have a large screened in yard and we will take walks on leash as you would like. Or if I watch them at your home whatever you would like me to do I will do.
“Katie was absolutely incredible and I truly cannot recommend her enough!! From the very start, I could tell Luigi felt comfortable with her which says EVERYTHING!! The moment she got out of her car to greet us, he immediately took to her and that is not something he does with everyone. She provided so many updates and pictures which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. I never once had to wonder how he was doing. One of the biggest things that stood out to me was her honesty. Instead of just saying everything was perfect (which other sitters have said while I knew he wasn’t perfectly fine), she shared that Luigi definitely missed us. I appreciated that more than anything because it showed how in tune she was with him. Even better, she didn’t just leave it at that. She actively worked to engage him and get him moving which is so important for a dog’s mental well being. She took him on walks, paid close attention to his needs, and truly treated him like her own. You can tell Katie genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. Luigi and I are both so grateful to have found her!!!”

“Filip watched my dog Tula for 10 days while I was out of town. He left the house clean, shoveled a ton of snow, and most importantly, took excellent care of my girl! Would definitely recommend Filip for your pet care needs. :)”

“Holly did a great job of taking care of Brock while we were away on an overnight. She sent pictures and kept us up to date. Both Brock and my house looked well cared for when we returned!”

“From my first correspondence with Karen through the end of her stay with my dog, Diamond, I was delighted. Karen has a calming spirit, which benefits anxious pets and their anxious owners. Karen communicates well before the stay and during the stay. She is very open and allows for peace of mind. I have already booked with her again, and I will in the future. Karen is an asset, and I am thankful to be able to have her stay with my Diamond.”

“Because of Lisa we were able to leave our almost 6 month old puppy without worry. She was competent in every way and even better, loving and caring with our pup. She sent many photos while we were gone the 3 days. We came home to a very happy dog and a very clean and neat home. Lisa will be the first I contact when I need a sitter again.”

“Jacqueline stayed overnight with my two cats. From our first contact she was so prompt answering messages. I’ve had other sitters and she is one of the few who actually showed up on time and was there when she said she would be. I returned to find my house in tiptop shape. I highly recommend her. She’s a real sweetheart!”
“Montana took very good care of our bullmastiff. We really like that she lists her schedule in her bio. This makes it really easy to know her availability. Our dog Apollo really liked her.”

Evria pupsat overnight. She had a positive impact on mine and my daughter’s dog! Lily greeted her with a big smile; remembering her from our Meet and Greet weeks prior! Bentley is a scaredy cat and snuggled with Evria almost constantly. She followed Bs special diet flawlessly. She left our home immaculate! I highly recommend Evria to lovingly take care of your pets too!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Warm Mineral Springs walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Warm Mineral Springs maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Warm Mineral Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
