4. Debrani C.
“She is a dog whisperer! My dogs can be a handful around new people with their barking but she was able to get them calmed down quickly. She was always in contact with me when she dropped in and sent me multiple pictures. This was the best Rover experience I have had! thank you so much!”
5. Paula B.
“We don't have a dog, but we do have 2 cats, a tropical fishtank, and backyard chickens. We reached out to Paula for check-in services over a long weekend trip we were so pleased. She had excellent communication right from the start, including special instructions for our little pet family, and she reached out politely in advance to remind me about some last minute details that I still hadn't confirmed with her. During the visits she took pics of the crew and gave an update both nights. (This was good, because Gizmo mewed that he didn't even get any food OR attention all the whole time, but I had photographic proof! Nice try, kitty!! You know how they are :) :) :) ) We will use Paula again! Thanks, Emily.”
6. Sierra B.
“Sierra was outstanding and was even able to get our scared boy cat out from hiding.”
7. Alexis S.
“Alexis did a great job taking care of my cats! I did not have to worry about them as she provided detailed daily updates with pictures. There was an issue on the first day with a missing cat, and she was able to rescue him! He is sleeping next to me now and I am so happy to have had her take care of them while I was away. Thanks again, Alexis!”

10. Amanda R.
“Amanda is an old roomie and a good friend of mine . Amanda is a passionate dog lover and she great with all types of dogs. She makes it her duty to make sure her dog is well taken care of, as well as the other dogs in the house. She makes sure they’re all fed, let out, plays with the dogs, and most of all make sure they feel all the love they can get. My dog, Shadow, loves his aunt unconditionally, for all the times I was working late and she would care for him. She’s great and perfect for this job!”

“Lucia would be the best possible choice as a dog/animal sitter. She has lovingly owned animals and is also a dog trainer working with young people in 4H to show their dogs. She also volunteers at AWL to teach a class for new adoptees of dogs from the shelter. I have no reservations about recommending Lucia and anyone who hires her will be very happy with their decision.”

14. Catherine W.
About: I’ve been petsitting, housesitting, and nannying for over 10 years, and have cared for dogs of all ages and needs, as well as a few cats, birds, and other critters! I love to walk and live just around the corner from a few dog parks, so making sure your pal gets enough exercise and socialization will never be a problem! I have a flexible schedule and a low-key job right here in the city with days off during the typical work week. I walk at least an hour every morning and night with my one-year-old pup who loves other dogs. Apt is doggy-proofed (no wires, toxic plants or small choking hazards around for them to get at). I can easily crate your pup if need be and have a lot of toys for them to play with. I am actively training a 1-year-old rescue who is very well behaved.

18. Tony F.
“Tony currently has an elderly lab named Abby who has had some recent health issues. Tony has cared for her related to those issues in an impressive manner. He is always looking for ways to keep her as comfortable as possible via vet care, adjustments at home, buying booties after seeing she was dragging a leg and injured paws. He has helped me with my elderly dogs and cats with extreme care and interest in understanding their needs. He rescues frogs from his pool! Very caring, intuitive to the animals needs. He will make sure that he understands what the dog/cat animal needs are, follow instructions accurately. He is reliable, responsible.”
19. Hollyn E.
About: While I have had a lifelong passion for animals and their care, my professional career with them started about 7 years ago. Initially working at the animal hospital, I was caring for boarding animals while their owners were away. I learned all I could and 2 years later I was proud to have worked my way up to a veterinary technician position! With my clinical experience, I feel comfortable working with & medicating all kinds of pets. Little mini friends, large breed friends, the young, the distinguished(elderly💗), from bouncy and busy to stoic, even ones that may have a disability & need a little extra help!🐾❤️ I myself have a doberman, a pitbull, an adorable cat, a hognose snake, sugar gliders chickens and an axolotl so I empathize and understand how tricky it can be to coordinate & trust a petsitter with such precious members of the family! ❤️ I currently work part time both as a vet tech and for Rover. Otherwise we enjoy being outside and walk the Harbor or Footprints trails often! I am here to help! So I am open to special instructions or requests such as practicing basic commands while out on walks. As previously mentioned I have experience administering both oral and injectable medications.
20. Amanda B.
“Not sure I can say enough positive about how well Amanda took care of my pups. First time having her do drop in visits and she was outstanding, caring and attentive to them even taking them on a short walk during outside time. Highly recommended!”
