About: I have provided care to all types of dogs for over 25 years. I also have quite a bit of care to elderly dogs especially those that need medications or assistance. I love walking dogs. I retired 4 yours ago. I am very flexible on scheduling . Generally I am available on holidays and off hours. I will try fit your needs. I have a house on a quiet, safe cul-de-sac street. I do not have a fence around my yard but I do have a nice yard with a large screened lanai and pool. I will always accompany your dogs on leach when they go outside my home. If your dog is comfortable, I will take the dogs to the Hounds of Henry dog park which is within walking distance of my home in Punta Gorda. If you do not have a fenced yard I will always accompany your dogs when they go outside your home. I will care for your dogs as if they are mine.

“Amanda was a great sitter, at first i was a little worry about my cat since i haven't left him alone for so long and he was just used to only see me so i did not know what reaction expect from him, but i book amanda 2 days before i left for a trip so they both can meet each other and have some familiarity and it work perfectly i left for 15 days and she was very attentive with jett making sure he feel secure with her, she also send me videos and pictures of him playing and on the balcony (he loves taking fresh air) everyday and she always let me know what was going on with him, like if he's eating , drinking water or going as usual to the litter box. the best part of it all was that he had a great time with amanda and when i came back from my trip, was that i find him as if i never left. About: Hello! For most of my life I've grown up around pets. We always had dogs and cats, and while currently we have four cats I often house sit my mother's dog Honey. I have a passion for animals I hope to someday turn into a career. Just a side note while I am available weekends my time is limited to late mornings early afternoons due to transportation issues Currently I am unemployed and trying to get out of the food service industry. I have access to a vehicle if needed for house visits. I will happily take your furry friend on multiple walks, drop in to ensure everyone gets bathroom breaks, or even watch your cats if you're out of town. Typically for our four cats I take sole care of them. They are fed 1/4 cup dry food each 2 times a day and a can of wet food a day as well. Our cats are older so there's not much activity wise, however when Honey my mother's dog visits we usually do two walks a day. We also have a fenced in backyard for zoomies, full screened in lanai (with a pool which can be sectioned off) for post zoomies. When watching her overnight she gets herself a full bowl of dry food to graze on while receiving two portions of wet food throughout the day.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
