“Angela was very professional and was very helpful with any questions I had. She was on time and her sweet little daughter was also good with our dog! I will definitely be using her in the future!!!”

About: I love.... LOVE dogs. I have 2 fur babies myself, Peanut (Pomeranian) and Bear (maltipom). I have been dog sitting for years and go above and beyond to provide the animals I take care of the love, attention, and exercise they need! I am available nights and weekends and welcome other small dogs into my home for over night stays. I am able to take small dogs to the dog park off Henry. As for dog walking, I am open to taking any size dog or dogs. I will provide as many snuggles as necessary to make the dogs feel comfortable. I am extremely trustworthy and will treat your babies like I would treat my own! They deserve all sorts of special treatment while their parents are away.
“Kaylee must keep good notes of our specific requests. We are repeat customers and she seems to always remember specific instructions from prior visits and apply them moving forward. For example, “if other workers are in the home when you’re here, keep the dog collar on” or “always give the lunch medication after your walk.” Thanks, Kaylee for earning our trust by consistently doing a great job!”

“My back has gone out and I’m not able to walk my little boy !! Thank goodness Angel Kat is here to save the day !! So compassionate, kind , Kip leaves like they’ve been friends for years !! I’m so happy there is a service like this when your body is failing you !! Thank you Kat for making life easy and kind !!”

About: I am 58 years old and have had pets since I was 5 - I grew up on a farm raising dairy cows, horses, dogs and cats. Most recently, I have dedicated my animal loving skills to the 4H Youth Dog Project, running the Florida State Fair Youth Dog Show for 20 years and training our youth and dogs through day camps, week long camps, and local weekly training. Over the years our house has kept many family friend's pets for weekends or weeks as needed. I also volunteer at the local animal shelter training obedience and manners class for newly adopted pets and owners. Now that our kids are grown, I have decided to work part time as a pet sitter so that you can enjoy your vacation or trip without any worry as to the loving care your family pet(s) will receive. I am self employed working part time from home, so my schedule is flexible, whether sitting for your pet in my home, your home, or just daily care. I have a fenced in side yard at my home for off leash potty time, and a nice neighborhood to walk in for exercise as needed.

“Everything went absolutely wonderful with Alexandria! She took the time to come over ahead of the scheduled walks to meet Snickers, which meant so much to me. Snickers liked her right away, and I could tell she felt comfortable and at ease. Alexandria was always on time, incredibly patient, and let Snickers set the pace for each walk. She was very attentive and intuitive—she knew exactly when Snickers was getting too warm and ready to head back inside, which gave me so much peace of mind. I also loved receiving pictures every day—it truly made my day and reassured me that Snickers was happy and well cared for. Alexandria is kind, reliable, thoughtful, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can completely trust with their pet. I will absolutely be using her again! 🐾💛”

About: Hi! I began dog sitting in college as a way to make extra money on the side, but now it’s really become a lifestyle. I really do e joy being around our furry friends and giving the the utmost respect and treatment. I understand that having a pet is another member of the family, and they must be treated that way.. I can’t wait to meet my next friend! As a student pilot my days consist of training and studies, can provide care at all hours of the day. Can work weekends, and around job times. Very flexible. Like I mentioned above, I love animals. Animals should be treated respectfully, carefully, and with love. They are really special creatures so I plan to treat them that way.

About: I’ve owned large and small dogs all my life. I’ve also taken care of my friend’s dogs the last few years while they traveled. My dog could use some other doggie friends too. There’s plenty of space in my office for them to lay near me while work as well.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
