I can’t recommend Joyce enough as a pet sitter and dog walker. I have three animals. My dog Kaya and two cats, Bubs and Hazel. She has taken amazing care of all of them multiple times. Kaya absolutely lights up when she sees Joyce, and I swear my cats are obsessed with her. Joyce is reliable, patient, and genuinely loving with animals. She follows instructions perfectly, sends updates without me even asking, and I always feel completely at ease knowing my pets are with her. My animals can be a handful in different ways, and she handles each of them with so much calm and confidence. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets like her own, Joyce is it. One of the biggest advantages of working with me is my very flexible schedule. I work from home and set my own hours, which means I can easily accommodate midday walks, last-minute requests, or a customized routine that fits your dog’s needs perfectly.

- Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs / medications. I also like to understand their energy level, temperament and personality so I can tailor care and activities to what makes them most comfortable. Its helpful to know how a pet does on walks, around other animals and people, and whether there are any triggers, fears, or behaviors to watch for. Information about house rules (crating, furniture access, sleeping arrangements) and any training cues or commands they already know is also important. I appreciate knowing emergency contact information, vet details and anything that helps your pet feel safe and happy (favorite toys, treats, or routines) so I can provide consistent, loving care while you’re away.
