About: I have 10+ years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. I’m the proud dog mom of three Italian Greyhounds and have experience breeding, raising puppies, behavior training, grooming, exercising, and providing attentive daily care. What sets me apart is that I truly understand dogs beyond basic sitting. I’ve worked with many breeds, from Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd’s to Frenchies, Beagles, Italian Greyhounds, full-size Greyhounds, Goldendoodles, and more, so I’m comfortable adapting to different temperaments, energy levels, ages and stages, and needs. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and engaged with plenty of play, exercise, and attention while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy, so I make sure each pup gets individualized care, playtime, and a calm, comfortable environment while you’re away. I keep my schedule intentionally limited so every dog gets the attention they deserve, and my availability tends to fill up quickly so early booking is always recommended. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard and a safe, calm home environment. My three friendly Italian Greyhounds are well socialized and used to being around other dogs. Because of my experience breeding and raising puppies, I’m very attentive to dog behavior and body language and make sure introductions and play are safe and positive. I can crate if needed and always follow the routines, feeding schedules, and instructions that keep your dog happy and comfortable.
“Mary was great. She took wonderful care of our Parker each day while we went to the beach and baseball games in Port Charlotte. We will definitely be calling on her next year if we come down for Speing Training.”
About: I've owned dogs & cats my entire life. I helped in my brother's kennel, caring for & cleaning up after pitbulls, so "scary" dog breeds don't seem scary to me. :) I have cared for senior cats & dogs. I have experience in giving both medication, orally & topically. I have 8+ years of personal experience with rats, so I am more then happy to work with rodents & other small mammals! I have plenty of experience cleaning cages. I have experience caring for senior rats, as well as giving oral & topical medications. I have experience keeping freshwater fish. I know how to do water changes, replace filter cartages, vacuum gravel, comb sand, test water parameters, ect. I do not own birds, however, I have pet sat with them before. I currently pet sit for a caique & a macaw regularly. I have experience cleaning cages. I do not have experience giving birds any medication. I have limited experience with reptiles & invertebrates, however, I do not fear any of them. I am willing to learn how to care for both. Pet care is mostly what I do! I live with 4 cats, rats, and fish - If I am not caring for my pets at home, I am caring for pets in another home! I do pet/house sitting for four dogs and two birds at least once a month. I am comfortable staying overnight in a clients house, and if the animals need around the clock care, I can stay in-home without issue. When it comes to caring for other people's pets, I like following their instructions best! I love having rules, times, ect listed out for me. Does your pooch need breakfast at 7am sharp, with a sprinkle of cheese and 30 seconds in the microwave? Does your bird like to watch a sitcom before bed? Does your kitty NEED their favorite pillow fluffed in the evening? Does your older puppy relax best with a warmed up blanket? Well, just let me know and I'll try my very hardest to make sure your best friends are comfortable while you're away. Being away from one another is hard, both on the pets and their loving owners, so I enjoy sending photos of our fuzzy friends to their people.
“I found out the day before that I needed a sitter for my 8 month old, yet to be neutered, tank of a puppy, Apollo. Having previously left him with only family members, and only a handful of times, we were a little nervous. When we first got there, Apollo immediately seemed to feel comfortable, not even looking back at me. I received photos a few hours in, and when it was time to pick him up, Apollo was trying to climb into a lap (he’s 75 lbs), and was being praised as a love, cuddle bug! Overall positive, seamless experience and I would book again.”

“I was looking for last minute daycare and Michelle got back to me so quickly and was very accommodating with my schedule! She took nugget for walks and she played all day with her pup. It was a great experience 10/10 will book with her again!!”

“Jeanne was the absolute best! She welcomed my little guy so enthusiastically into her lovely home and sent photos throughout his visit. Atlas had a great time and got along well with her fur babies. I had no concerns whatsoever. Highly recommend!”

“Taylor was amazing with our puppy Gus! Her adult lab was calm and great with him as well. Taylor sent regular updates & pictures throughout the day. We’ll be going back regularly for doggy daycare!”

“Hercules has been so happy coming home from a day with Floyd and Connie, it just confirms this is the place we've been looking for to watch over our little guy! We feel he's treated with a lot of love and we have total confidence that he's happy and safe in their care! Absolutely would recommend without hesitation!”
