About: Hello there! Meet me, Adrianna, your tireless and fun-filled partner in pet pampering, just brimming with the patience needed to cater to your little fur balls. My home, and your pet's vacation spot, is a lived-in haven of comfort where they are free to roam, rest, and rejuvenate at their leisure. As a former Vet Tech, I bring professional knowledge to my passion for dog care, offering a reliable hand, especially for those requiring special medical attention. Along with a wealth of personal experience with various dog breeds, both large and small, I am well-equipped to accommodate each pet's unique quirks and needs. From my experience as a voluntary assistant at a Shelter to my ever-growing family of well-mannered pet guests, I've always believed in fostering a warm, loving, and safe environment. That way, both you and your furry friend can find the serene home-away-from-home experience you seek while you're apart. My typical day working and homeschooling at home translates to all-day companionship for your pups: they'll never feel alone with me around! Our shared bonding time might even include strolls, as I love walks just as much as your dogs do. Balancing roles as a full-time mom and a work-from-home professional, your pets enjoy round-the-clock care and company, save for the occasional local errand. Safety remains paramount in our home: pre-arrangement discussions are critical to make sure we're a great fit. So, if you're on the hunt for a laid-back, loving family to host, care, and share genuine family-like moments with your pet, the search ends here. Excited to chat about your needs and meet your adorable pups soon! I work from home therefore I am accessible for full on care and companion. Only time I am out, I may need to go to the grocery store or usps or ups type errands. Everything is less than 5-10 min away from home.2de Dropins/walks: Are communicated with client regarding, access of door, entrance greeting behaviors to expect from.pet, feeding info, relief etc. BOARDING: Meet & Greet, communicating all details on both parties to see if we are a good fit.
“Sophie's daycare time with Connie went perfectly. Sophie was happy on arrival and, though happy on my return to pick her up, seemed totally content to stay if she needed to. Connie's home is clean and as well-cared for as her canine clients. I'm so glad I found her on Rover and highly recommend her services.”

“Robin eagerly welcomed my best little friend into her lovely home and kept me posted on how he was doing throughout the day. She is very kind and attentive. Highly recommend!”

“Koda loved his daycare with Tara. He had so much fun. Tara kept me in the loop all day with pictures and how he was doing. It is obvious she loves the fur babies and she takes very good care of them. 🥰”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my family all my life and absolutely love them. I love to get outside and make them active, happy, and healthy. I am looking to pick up extra work and I love animals so if I am available I would love to care for your pet. I am very active and love to play with dogs outside. I would of course always be very careful with pets on a leash and would follow any specific instructions given.
“Fantastic place and person to leave your pet. Marcela loves and takes special care of each of her day care pets. There is a big yard about 3 acres for your pet to run around with there fellow day care residents.”

“I book with Joyce for day care once or twice a week.Joyce is very loving and caring. My puppers is excited to see her. His tail wags like crazy. She sends me pics through out the day and let's me know how he's doing. Highly recommend Joyce.”

About: I've owned dogs & cats my entire life. I helped in my brother's kennel, caring for & cleaning up after pitbulls, so "scary" dog breeds don't seem scary to me. :) I have cared for senior cats & dogs. I have experience in giving both medication, orally & topically. I have 8+ years of personal experience with rats, so I am more then happy to work with rodents & other small mammals! I have plenty of experience cleaning cages. I have experience caring for senior rats, as well as giving oral & topical medications. I have experience keeping freshwater fish. I know how to do water changes, replace filter cartages, vacuum gravel, comb sand, test water parameters, ect. I do not own birds, however, I have pet sat with them before. I currently pet sit for a caique & a macaw regularly. I have experience cleaning cages. I do not have experience giving birds any medication. I have limited experience with reptiles & invertebrates, however, I do not fear any of them. I am willing to learn how to care for both. Pet care is mostly what I do! I live with 4 cats, rats, and fish - If I am not caring for my pets at home, I am caring for pets in another home! I do pet/house sitting for four dogs and two birds at least once a month. I am comfortable staying overnight in a clients house, and if the animals need around the clock care, I can stay in-home without issue. When it comes to caring for other people's pets, I like following their instructions best! I love having rules, times, ect listed out for me. Does your pooch need breakfast at 7am sharp, with a sprinkle of cheese and 30 seconds in the microwave? Does your bird like to watch a sitcom before bed? Does your kitty NEED their favorite pillow fluffed in the evening? Does your older puppy relax best with a warmed up blanket? Well, just let me know and I'll try my very hardest to make sure your best friends are comfortable while you're away. Being away from one another is hard, both on the pets and their loving owners, so I enjoy sending photos of our fuzzy friends to their people.
“Mary was great. She took wonderful care of our Parker each day while we went to the beach and baseball games in Port Charlotte. We will definitely be calling on her next year if we come down for Speing Training.”
“I found out the day before that I needed a sitter for my 8 month old, yet to be neutered, tank of a puppy, Apollo. Having previously left him with only family members, and only a handful of times, we were a little nervous. When we first got there, Apollo immediately seemed to feel comfortable, not even looking back at me. I received photos a few hours in, and when it was time to pick him up, Apollo was trying to climb into a lap (he’s 75 lbs), and was being praised as a love, cuddle bug! Overall positive, seamless experience and I would book again.”

“Taylor was amazing with our puppy Gus! Her adult lab was calm and great with him as well. Taylor sent regular updates & pictures throughout the day. We’ll be going back regularly for doggy daycare!”

“When we met Floyd and Connie for the meet and greet with our Maxi, we could tell Maxi would be in good hands and we were right. Maxi had a great time at doggy day care with them; we could tell from the pics Floyd sent throughout the day. We will definitely be repeat clients.”

About: My husband & I had a wonderful time with our beloved dogs over the past 16 years. Unfortunately our two seniors recently passed. Both of us grew up with dogs and can’t imagine a life without them, which means we have lots of love and time to give to your furrbabies. We just adopted a very sweet puppy. Peppa does not bark and gets along very well with other dogs. She is very gentle, and sometimes shy, but also very nosy and can’t wait to play with her new friends. We will make sure to do anything we can to make your Puppies as comfortable and happy as our Peppa during their stay with us. We only take one client at the time and up to 3 dogs max from the same household. 🐾 I am home 24/7, which means your furrbaby would never be alone and I can always make sure your pet is happy, loved and safe. We have a large, fully fenced yard that will give your puppy a lot of room to run and play in between walks. Our first priority is that your pet is safe and feels loved. We have used Rover frequently our selves in the past for our doggies, so we know how important it is to know, that your puppy is happy and safe while you are away. We will update with pictures and videos so you can relax and do not have to worry.
About: I would love for you to choose me to care for your fluffy little family members small or large. I've been an owner of Great Danes for the last 14 years and just love when they have Playmates and get to spend time with other dogs. I'm available for daycare from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and play dates Monday through Friday and overnights Monday through Thursday some weekend availability upon request. I have a fully fenced in yard so your pet can explore, play, roam and be safe at all times. You are more than welcome to bring your crate if they need to be crated
“Brittany was very accommodating even though it was a quick reservation! I appreciated her help also in navigating the Rover app and getting that submitted! She’s friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
