“We highly recommend Robin as she is professional and trust worthy in all aspects. We arraigned a in home meet and greet prior to our pets stay and we all connected very well. She accepts only one client at a time and her property was clean and perfect for our pet. While we were away, Robin took the initiative of staying in touch with us daily by sending us pictures of our pet. We are pleased to know we found such a trustworthy person in our area for all our dog sitting needs.”

“Kimber did an amazing job with my two big boys! She was attentive, calm, and true dog lover. She sent videos multiple times a day and it was wonderful to see how happy all the pups were. Thank you so much!”

“Was very pleased that Joyce did a really good job with Syd. Kept us informed on how she was doing by texting and sending pics. Syd seem to like her as well. Makes us happy to know when we go out of town she is well taken care of. Thank you Joyce!!”
“We could not have been happier with Marcela. This being the first time leaving our fur babies with someone other than family, our meet and greet with Marcela put our fears to rest. The videos we received, we could tell Landy and Hope were having so much fun, making new friends. definitely would recommend her to everyone. Thank you so much.”

“My Boston terrier seemed to do really well staying at Tammie’s house. I, like many pet parents, was somewhat anxious to try a new sitter but was pleasantly surprised. Tammie sent daily pics and updates on Jody’s status which was helpful and made me feel more at ease.”

“Floyd and Connie were great. Our dog did not want to come home with all the fun she had with them. They kept us updated the whole time. It made our vacation stress free knowing she was in good hands. I would definitely recommend using them for boarding and dog sitting. Thank you for being so great with our little Rosie.”

“Thank you very much for taking such good care of our girls. The photos were very much appreciated. As a 1st time Rover user I was very sceptical. Monica was very kind to allow us a visit, even helped with the app. We left Monica’s knowing that our girls would be well taken care of. I would highly recommend Monica.”

“I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my naughty and anxious Malinois but Svetlana was exceptional. She kept him safe and calm. We would use her again without hesitation.”

“This was our dogs second stay with Britney. Luna loves staying there and Britney is fantastic. She sends pictures and videos along with messages on how everything is going. We have zero concerns leaving our dog there!”

“Dana was wonderful from the very start! Very quick and thorough with communication and I immediately knew that she would treat our boy like he was one of her own. Dana was eager to learn all about my dog and she has great knowledge and instincts about how to care for pets. She also sent regular updates and pictures throughout his stay, which was awesome! When we came to pick him up, I could tell that he had already bonded with Dana and really thrived in the environment. We are so happy we found Dana and I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Kathy and Roy took fantastic care of our dog. Kathy sent 50 pictures during a 4 night stay with daily summary of what our dog did and how she behaved. Our dog really enjoyed the fenced in yard as well as Kathy’s pet friendly home. From the minute we met Kathy and Roy we knew they really cared about dogs as well as all animals. We had a wonderful experience and have already booked another stay for our dog.”

“Love love love when Rex stays over Claudia’s! He’s stayed over multiple times and I am never disappointed. Claudia is always posting videos/pictures of Rex on her dog boarding Instagram page so I am always updated with how he is doing. She replies right away to messages so communication is 10/10. Rex is happy with her and so am I :-)”
“Second stay with Connie and Mark. Immaculate, quiet, peaceful home. My dog is 18 years old. Two weeks was the longest time I’ve ever left him. He did great. I highly recommend them!!”
“My little Bella stayed with Jennifer over Thanksgiving. Bella is a Chinese Crested and nervous by nature. When I picked Bella up, Jennifer greeted me holding Bella. Bella was calm and not shaking. So I believe Jennifer was able to bond with Bella and that Bella enjoyed her stay with Jennifer.”

“We only bring Gus to Taylor! She’s attentive, sends updates every few hours, and truly cares for Gus. I feel like he has a second home with Taylor and her kiddos. Thank you for another wonderful week for our pup!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Port
Tara was AMAZING!! It was the first time I left my lil girl and she was in the best care possible!! She was spoiled with snuggles, walks, and attention. Tara sent me pictures and videos daily, which I loved and looked forward to on the daily! Thank you Tara!! I’m grateful and WILHELMINA now has a second momma!!

Starla took wonderful care of our sometimes unruly little morkie Maui. We were able to relax on our week long vacation knowing he was in great hands. Starla communicated with us regularly with pictures putting us even more at ease. We would highly recommend Starla to our friends and family. We will surely be using her services again.
Robin is an absolute angel! She watched our dog Buddy for 10 days, and was amazing with him. Buddy is a rescue and a very nervous little guy, so Robin had us bring him over for short little stays with her prior to our vacation, so that Buddy could get adjusted to us leaving him for a period of time. She truly cares about the pets she watches, and I felt like she cared for Buddy as if he were her own. Robin kept us updated on how he was doing, and included photos. We missed Buddy terribly while we were away, but we knew he was in safe, capable, and loving hands. I would recommend Robin to anyone looking for a pet sitter, and would not hesitate to book with her again. Five stars is not enough! :)

Nicole was absolutely amazing! I could not have been luckier to book her! Every inquiry I made she was very quick to respond on top of that she sent constant text, photo and even video updates during the stay. I would rate her 6 out of 5 stars if I could! Could not be happier!

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
