“Brittany and her family were great! Luna loved being there as she got to play with the boys and Mia. She had lots of walks and plenty of time playing fetch, her favorite game. We know this because Brittany kept us up to date with lots of photos and videos as well as messages on how it was going. We have found our dog sitter for life! Thanks you Brittany!”

“So glad we met Taylor! Leaving our little girl Soleil with her felt like leaving her with a sweet friend. I knew she was in good hands surrounded by love. It was great to receive regular updates while we were away to keep our minds at ease. Thank you for your help Taylor!”

“She took care of our dog who can be difficult without any issues. She communicated well throughout the stay and sent pictures consistently. I would recommend her to everyone and will use her again in the future b”

“Angela was super sweet and I loved the photos of my cat while we were gone! My cat hasn’t ever stayed with a stranger for that long without us and he was a little mischievous with some hiding spots but Angela handled it very well by giving him his time to come around to her. Highly recommend!! :)”

“First I want to say thank you Monica!! At the last minute we needed a sitter for our young little fur baby and Monica was so wonderful and worked with me and was able to take care of him. More than take care of him but love him. He had so much fun and made puppy friends. Amazing experience 😁”

“Couldn't have gone better. Ana was kind, caring, responsible and so considerate of my dog and myself. He had such a good time. Ana sent me pictures every day and let me know how he was doing. He really had his own fun vacation. She even sewed up his favorite toy that I'd left for him all coming apart. I'm so happy and will definitely take my dog to Ana again in the future. I think this is her calling.”

“Aliyana was absolutely amazing with my boy Kenai super attentive towards him and he had friends there too with her animals. She also sends pictures and videos throughout the day so your always in the loop of things. She took him out to play and on multiple walks and treats. I know this says five stars but she deserves more 100/100 Ladies and Gentlemen your pets deserve someone amazing and she is all that and some. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy. This is now our go to pet sitter”

“Dana was wonderful from the very start! Very quick and thorough with communication and I immediately knew that she would treat our boy like he was one of her own. Dana was eager to learn all about my dog and she has great knowledge and instincts about how to care for pets. She also sent regular updates and pictures throughout his stay, which was awesome! When we came to pick him up, I could tell that he had already bonded with Dana and really thrived in the environment. We are so happy we found Dana and I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Floyd and Connie was awesome pet sitters! We got tons of pictures of their walks and playing in the backyard. Teddy is a very scared dog and they made him feel completely comfortable! I would recommend if your looking for your pet being well taking care of”

“Tony was wonderful with our dog, Louie. He kept in regular communication throughout Louie’s stay, which gave us peace of mind. We felt comfortable and confident leaving our dog in Tony’s care and would use him again.”

“Jeny was so great, she sent me pictures and videos the whole time we were away and you could tell our dog. Oliver, was well cared for and had so much fun! We will definitely use her again! Thank you so much Jeny!”

“I would absolutely book again with Jim, he was very loving to Warrior and he seemed comfortable with Jim right away. Jim sent photos and updates and allowed Warrior to do the things he is used to. Nothing but good vibes as his owner, after pick up Warrior was happy as usual. Don’t hesitate to book with Jim.”

“Brittany is amazing! I am so happy I found her to watch my pup! I have an 11 month old golden retriever, and she loved Brittany and her sweet dog Lucy. She sent me update pics and kept me in the loop. Definitely making her my first choice every time. 10/10 recommend :)”

“Jersey loved staying with Robin!! She took amazing care of him while we had a few days away! Let him sleep with her, took him for walks and spent some time gardening in her backyard! Robin has an inviting, warm, clean, beautiful home that any pup would love to visit! Great street views on a comfy ottoman are the added bonus for Jersey! She doesn’t take multiple clients at a time which was comforting for us—although Jersey loves playing with other pups, we don’t know that other pups love playing with him. Thank you for the assurance our baby would be safe and well taken care of while in your care!”

“Arrow had a wonderful stay at Kimber’s I received daily photos and videos of Arrow doing his favorite things! Kimber’s home is beautiful inside and out! I highly recommend! ❤️❤️❤️”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Port Charlotte
We were so nervous to leave our 7 year old pitbull & 3 year old Labrador alone with a stranger for the first time in their whole life. Luna especially is nervous with people she doesn’t know & within 10 minutes of adjusting to Jeny she was in her lap giving her kisses! I knew right then that they would be safe and loved while we went away. We were gone for 9 days & every day Jeny sent us updates & pictures! I hope Jeny enjoyed having them as much as we felt safe knowing they were with her & we definitely will be using her again in the future! Thank you so much Jeny for taking care of our big babies!

Our dog Luna loves to go to see Britney’s family! While she was excited to see us, as we drove away from Britney’s house, Luna stared out the back window as we got farther away. I think it was a bittersweet moment for her. I told her to not worry. She will be back again as we won’t have anyone else watch her while we are away! We are so fortunate to have selected the best sitter with our first selection from Rover.

Taylor was absolutely amazing! She knows dogs well and is super friendly and compassionate. I trusted her completely with my 3 fur babies while I flew home for the holidays. She even gave them all stockings with a toy, treat and blanket in them😊 So sweet! She kept me updated always with texts and pictures and I never was worried my whole trip. Her children are so sweet and loved on my fur kids and I was so glad everyone became good friends. I 100% recommend booking with Taylor if you are in need of fantastic sitter in Port Charlotte!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
