“Christine loves what she does. The dogs recognize it, so do the dog owners. She is very reliable and always keeps me updated. I highly recommend her. She seems to have a natural ability with dogs.”

About: I have dachshunds at home. Sheldon is 13 and Sophie is 3. My animals are my babies. I am reliable, organized, honest and communicate daily when watching your pet. I can accommodate most last minute bookings and can follow special requests/needs for your kids. I am looking to build a good, long lasting relationship with my clients to care for your pets consistently throughout the years. I have pet experience with medical conditions such as IVDD, diabetes, cushings, asthma, etc. I am familiar with all of the poisonous plants, foods, toxins in your home and dangerous wildlife in our area. I take the safety of your baby seriously, just as if they were my own. I've been watching friends, family & neighbor's fur kids since I was in high school. work from home as a social media manager, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I rarely am ever out of town (away from my kids)- so more than likely I can look after your kids! 🐾🐶🐱 I like to treat animals as if they were my own. How would I want a sitter to be with my baby? Kind, patient, fun, and always safe. I don't mind texting check-in photos or a short summary of my visit. I am easy to communicate with and will be happy to keep a routine and do my best to follow instructions for your kids.
“Norah is truly the best! She goes above and beyond for our boys every single time. She even surprised them with their own balls for the dog park, which just shows how thoughtful and invested she is. Norah is always timely, incredibly communicative, and sends the best photos that clearly show how happy and well cared for our dogs are. We have total peace of mind knowing they’re with her. Thank you, Norah — we’re so grateful to have you!”

“This was our first time having Channing walk our dog and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! She was very communicative with us and caring toward Ollie! Highly recommend!”

“Tara has been excellent with my timid rescue Chow Chow. She figured out how to charm her and more importantly to get her to trust that she could go for walks and enjoy herself. Tara has been very helpful to get her the exercise that she needs. More than that you can tell that she cares about our dog. Tara keeps me informed on every detail about Rosie’s walk and her visit.”

“Betty took great care of our dog Henry! Very professional and communicative when we talked. She was proactive about checking if Henry was comfortable walking in the rain, clearly thinking of his best interests. We’d definitely book again!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and have always enjoyed the unique experience each one brings with them from their personalities. I have a large backyard of 2 lots fenced in together for my Doberman so that we have lots of space to play and he can really stretch his legs. He loves playing with other dogs and we are hoping to make lots of new friends, both with fur and without. I do most of my work from home, Sunday- Wednesday I am home all day, and I do have my 10 year old son after school on those days, but we go for multiple walks, and do playtime in the yard which is 1/2 acre and fenced in. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I do work but typically only 5-6 hours outside the home. If I am going to be working longer on a day where you're booked I will communicate that ahead of time. I have 1/2 acre, my back yard is large and entirely closed in so it's safe and secure to let multiple dogs outside to roam, run, and play with no worries. I have a large run that I have completely cleared out for playing catch with my doberman so he can really stretch his legs and get going. I do let the animals in my house, and they will spend most of the time inside when it's hot, with frequent opportunities to go outside and play/ exercise. Inside if the dogs are playing together, I usually leave them to enjoy each other, otherwise I frequently engage with them with whatever toys they want to play with as the day goes on and they're not napping.
“We are closing out another great year with Eni. She is a wonderful walker for any pups but especially if you have a pup that needs a little extra care or patience like my little guy. She does wonders for him when he gets anxious away from me. ❤️”

About: Hi! I’m a stay-at-home mom and lifelong animal lover, which means your pup will receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day—never long hours home alone. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time so I can provide personalized care and make every guest feel like part of the family. My home has a secure, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run, play, sniff, and enjoy plenty of outdoor time. Inside, they’ll have a clean, comfortable environment with lots of cuddles, playtime, and opportunities to relax. I do my best to keep your dog’s routine as close to home as possible, whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, administering medication, or providing extra potty breaks and exercise. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet behind, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is simple: for your dog to have so much fun that they’re excited to come back for their next visit. I can’t wait to welcome your furry family member into our home! My boys are now in elementary school, so I have extra time on my hands & wanted to help my husband financially. About: Your Pet's Home Away From Home with a Lifetime Animal Enthusiast I'd be honored to welcome your beloved pets into my home! My life has been devoted to animals, starting on a ranch where I gained hands-on experience with everything from horses, dogs, and cats to chickens and beyond. As a retired horse trainer and long-time dog breeder, I bring a wealth of knowledge in animal health, behavior, and communication. I've personally trained service dogs for mobility, and I'm passionate about helping dogs overcome behavioral challenges. With your permission, I can address specific training needs your dog might have, such as potty training, leash manners, or breaking other bad habits, ensuring their time with me is both enjoyable and productive. Rest assured, your pets will be treated as cherished members of my family during their stay. Our home is a calm, adult-only environment, providing a peaceful and safe space for your companions. I'm available at anytime to make sure your pet is well taken care of. I have dedicated my life to animals and I love it. With many years of dedicated experience across a diverse range of animals, I offer exceptional pet care grounded in health, compassion, and understanding. My extensive background includes not only general animal well-being but also specialized expertise in handling animals with specific needs and successfully training dogs and other animals through positive methods. We do not have any small children or any children. Just adults that love animals. I'm committed to ensuring every pet under my care feels loved, safe, and comfortable. My flexible availability means I can accommodate your pets' schedules and individual requirements at any time. Pets always have fresh water and are fed as scheduled by the pet owner. We do board cats and they are kept in a seprate area of our home. We have a very large lani and pool and a small dog pool available for your pets. Your pets will never be unsupervised when they are in our pool area. I have a very large screened in lani that the dogs can run and play in. I do have a small fenced area for little dogs. I do not leave the dogs outside unattended due to risk of over heating, escaping, cane toads, poisonous snakes and fire ants. I walk the dogs as many times as they need to, to go potty. I've been told by multiple pet parents that other sitters just put their dogs out in a yard unsupervised and their dogs were attacked by other dogs. I'm always supervising your dogs.

I have a varying schedule but I am always up front about my availability! I always ask for detailed schedules or information about your pets so I know what they are used to and can keep things the same while you’re gone so it doesn’t feel like anything has changed and can keep their comfort level roughly the same
About: Hi, I’m Klaudia! I know how quickly pet-sitting costs can add up, especially when you have more than one pet! While my standard rates are comparable to others in the area, I keep my additional-pet rates lower so families with multiple animals don’t have to pay a huge amount just to make sure everyone is cared for. More pets just means more love to go around! :) I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with four dogs, both big and small, so I’m very comfortable around all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve developed a real love for both dogs and cats, and honestly, animals just bring me so much joy. I also worked in the Pet Care department at PetSmart for about a year, which gave me great experience caring for fish, reptiles, and small animals. I’m confident handling a wide variety of pets, whether they have paws, fins, or scales! I do have pets of my own, so while I can’t offer multiple consecutive overnight stays in your home, I’m happy to do an occasional one-night stay when it fits your needs. I’m also fully open to boarding your pets in my home if you’d prefer someone who can be around them more consistently or if they simply feel more comfortable having company while you’re away. I’m happy to work with you to find whatever option makes the most sense for you and keeps your pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for! 🐾 I typically work 6–7 hour shifts about five days a week, but outside of work, I’m pretty much a homebody! I don’t go out, so when I’m not working, I’m usually at home and able to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. If you give me enough advance notice, I can also request time off or adjust my schedule to accommodate your pets and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, feedings, potty breaks, and care while you’re away. :) For boarding, I have a three-bedroom home with a large, fully fenced backyard surrounded by a white privacy fence, so there’s plenty of room for your pet to feel comfortable and secure. I also have enough space inside my home to keep visiting pets separate from my own while they settle in and to do slow, proper introductions when appropriate. If you’d prefer that your pet stay completely separate from my animals for their entire stay, I’m more than happy to accommodate that as well. For house sitting, I follow whatever routine you prefer for your pets and home. I’ll care for your animals as if they were my own and do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I also always make sure to leave your home clean and tidy before I go! Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! 🐾

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Port
Norah has been an absolute gem as our dog walker. From day one, she has taken spectacular care of our dogs, treating them with so much love and attention as if they were her own. She consistently went above and beyond, she even surprised them with new toys, which meant so much to us and clearly made our boys so happy. One of the things we appreciated most was how reliable she was. We could always count on Norah to be on time or she would communicate with us if she needed to make adjustments to the times of their walks, which gave us such peace of mind. And the biggest sign of her dedication? Coming home to two very tired (and very happy) pups every time. Proof that she truly spent quality time walking, playing, and engaging with them. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely passionate about animals, I cannot recommend Norah enough. She’s simply the best for your dog care needs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
