We follow a consistent routine with scheduled potty breaks, outdoor time in our fenced yard, and lots of snuggles and care in a calm (after the initial excitement of settling in :) and cozy environment. Safety is our top priority. We maintain a clean, secure home with a fully fenced backyard, safety-gated lanai, and constant supervision during playtime. We take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, creating a calm, loving environment where they feel safe and cared for. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any kind since i was around 13. I love them unconditionally, they bring happiness to everyone. I have my own dogs, bigger breeds, and occasionally dogsit for my sister when she’s out of town! this is my full time! so i have plenty of time to make it everywhere i need to be! i make this my top priority day in and day out! my dogs are free roam in the house, trained and well behaved. my cat is also free roam and is well behaved, and likes almost everyone! if your animals are crate trained, that’s fine! your house your rules! i always stick to what the owners prefer, like, etc. for their animal. i never go the route of sticking to my own rules, it’s not my animal, the owner knows best!
About: I love animals as I have had about ten cats over the years and about four dogs. I have had pets since I was basically born. At one point I was looking into or was recommended by people to become a vet! I am at the moment typically free other than doing school work for college. About: Hello animal enthusiasts! My name is Katie and I have worked with animals in a multitude of settings. Jane Goodall (Primatologist) was always an idol of mine. As I grew up in a household loving my dogs, cats, and birds I envisioned working in Africa with chimpanzees. While my vision didn't manifest exactly the way I had fathomed, I still ended up working with baboons in Africa (2017). Along the way, I was an outdoor educator for several years working with all sorts of reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, and invertebrates. I have been attracted to all types of animals since the day I was born. As a science teacher (8 years), I kept corals and saved many animals in the outdoor environment near our school (from squirrels to birds and much more). My husband and I have just moved from Chicago, IL to Florida. We have a love for adventure and curiosity for the great outdoors. We are happily married with our Cockatiel (Sunny) and Umbrella Cockatoo (Jack). I can't wait to meet you and love your pets for eternity! Along with my elementary education degree, I studied zoology. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
