About: I’ve always had a love for animals and grew up caring for all kinds of pets, including dogs, reptiles, hamsters, fish, and birds. My experience with animals started at a young age and has continued throughout my life. As I got older, I began helping neighbors, friends, and family care for their beloved pets while they were away. I understand that pets are family, and being away from their owners can sometimes be stressful for them. I believe caring for someone’s pet takes patience, compassion, responsibility, and most importantly lots of love and attention. My goal is to make sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, happy, and well loved while their family is away. I currently have a flexible schedule and willing to work with you. Here to help take care of your baby/s while your away. Great care is extremely important to me. I have a fenced in yard incase your baby needed to stay with me. I also have to pups and cats. If you need me to stay at your house, I have no problem and will make sure to follow your pet's routine to make him or her feel comfortable.
“We were hesitant at first for ANYONE to watch our girls since this was our first time using Rover. When we did a meet and greet, we wanted the girls to trust the person they would be seeing for a few days. We had our doggy cam and we saw how happy they would be with Elena at times playing and getting hugs. The pictures proved they enjoyed her presence and were being taken care of. We were happy with the effort and care she gave for our girls as a doggy lover and would book Elena again for future trips again.”

“I honestly can't say enough good things about Kaia. She's watched our three big pit/American Staffy mixes so many times now—whether it's for a long workday, an overnight stay, or several days while we're out of town—and we've never had to worry for a second. Our dogs are a lot! They have endless energy, are always looking for attention, love to roughhouse with each other, and are obsessed with swimming in the pool (which means someone has to dry off three soaking wet dogs every time they come inside!). Kaia takes it all in stride and gives them so much love and attention. She also makes sure they get their daily medications without any issues. One of my favorite things is that she always sends us pictures and videos while we're away. It makes such a difference knowing they're happy, having fun, and being so well cared for. It's obvious how much Kaia genuinely loves animals, and our dogs absolutely love her right back! We trust her completely, and there's no one else we'd rather have taking care of our pups. We're so lucky to have found her, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like family.”

“Best dog sitting experience ever! Angelina is so kind, warm & my dogs instantly warmed up to her. She provided the best updates and my dogs were so comfortable with her. Thank you so much Angelina!”

“Nicole was absolutely wonderful! The love ,care, and attention given to my pups while on a 10 day trip was exceptional. Nicole is friendly, professional, and caring. She kept me up to date everyday and sent lots of cute pics. Leaving my pups is stressful but I had no worries knowing Nicole was taking care of my girls!!”
“Patricia is a wonderful sitter. She took great care with my 4 year old Sheltie. They took walks and she sent me photos throughout the day. She enabled me to relax knowing my pup was in good hands. I highly recommend her and will use her again!”

“Nina was very good with our dogs! We have 3 large dogs (57-90 lbs) and they can be a handful but she met each of their needs and was able to get them outside and played with them. Nina was great about sending pictures and videos of our dogs which made us feel better about being gone. This was our first time away from the dogs since we moved and all went well.”

About: ive worked in doggy daycare, have been taking care of dogs since i was 8 (my own dogs and neighbors dogs). i also foster dogs and cats a decent amount here and there as well! i work part time at a coffee shop until usually around 3 pm. im also doing classes at FGCU. So I’d definitely have much more time this off season! I live in a college dorm, so i most likely wont be able to bring your pets to the dorms for me to take care of, sadly :(
“We couldn’t have asked for a better puppy sitter while we were in Vegas! Brooke was great with communication, she got to our place exactly when she said she would and our dog LOVES her!! We will definitely ask her to help us again next time we are in town!”

About: I’ve grown up around pets and have plenty of hands on experience caring for them. My family has 3 dogs and a couple of cats, and I’ve also dog sat and cat sat for other families. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets lots of love and attention while their owners are away. My schedule is very flexible, as most of my classes are online and I only work a part time job. This allows me to easily fit pet care into my routine. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they are with me. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I make sure to follow their routines, pay close attention to their needs, and provide a calm and loving environment. My goal is for both pets and their owners to feel happy and comfortable while they are in my care.
About: I am a past worker at Pet Paradise! I have about 7 years experience taking care of dogs. I will take care of your fur babies as if they were my own with flexible hours and lots of love to give. I’m currently a part time worker and full time student. I have time on weekends and on evenings during the week! I am happy to work around schedule to accommodate to any needs! I have a fenced yard in a friendly neighborhood. I have 3 pit mix babies as well as a shitzu. I have 2 open crates if needed.
“It’s very clear to us that Paige is a BIG animal lover! She treated our sweet girl with great care while we were traveling, and checked in with us each day with photos of her adventures. We’ve already rebooked Paige for dog sitting.”

“Jillyn is an incredible dog sitter!! She took great care of not only my pup but also my home. I didn't worry about a thing while I was out of town. I would definitely recommend Jillyn and she will be the first person I'd reach out to for my future dog sitting needs!”

“Once again Kassandra was absolutely amazing! So responsive and so trust worthy with my puppy Chloe! She’s always my go to for walks and sitter for vacays! The best!! 10/10”

“Katie is the best! She followed our routine and our (extremely detailed) instructions to a T and sent tons of pics and videos. We have two senior dogs, one who requires daily medication and one hot off the tails of TPLO knee surgery and Katie didn’t bat an eye, she handled all their care and quirks. We will definitely rebook!”

“Amy was amazing!!! We were traveling internationally for 10 days and leaving our two fur babies. We couldn’t have found anyone more perfect for taking care of them and our house while we were gone. She kept in constant communication and every picture and video showed how much the dogs loved her and how happy they were while we were away. She kept the house immaculate and did nice touches for our return - including a hand written note with pictures of the babies! Will definitely reach out to have her stay again!!!”

Nicole was absolutely wonderful! The love ,care, and attention given to my pups while on a 10 day trip was exceptional. Nicole is friendly, professional, and caring. She kept me up to date everyday and sent lots of cute pics. Leaving my pups is stressful but I had no worries knowing Nicole was taking care of my girls!!
Madison was an incredible sitter. She was extremely prompt. Great with communication, and went above and beyond when she watched our fur babies. She also sent pictures from time to time, and asked any questions if she was u sure of something. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease when I was away. I would definitely recommend her,and for sure use her again in the near future. Thank you Madison for doing such an incredible job. You are truly the best.

Beata was fantastic with our pups, Tatum and Attie. She arrived well prepared and was so sweet with them right from the start. She took wonderful care of them while we were away, from feeding them and letting them out to playing with them and sending us regular picture updates. This was our first time using Rover, and she made it a really great experience.

Christopher did a great job taking care of my two babies! One of my dogs was having a medical issue while I was gone and Christopher promptly notified me of his condition. He was willing to take him to the vet, if necessary. Fortunately, it wasn’t necessary and everything turned out ok. Then, my delayed flight caused a missed flight and Christopher was flexible and willing to stay longer to accommodate the situation. He was great with providing me with detailed updates on how they were doing each day I was gone. My dogs were well taken care of and happy when I got home. My house was left clean and he even put my garbage on the curb on trash pickup day. I would not hesitate to have Christopher take care of my fur babies in the future!

I can’t recommend Ellie enough! She took the absolute best care of my sweet Lola while I was away. ❤️ She sent me daily photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind and made it clear how loved and well cared for Lola was. It meant the world knowing she was in such good hands. I came home to a happy, healthy pup, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you for treating Lola like one of your own!

We, and our two dogs (Barney and Bodie) were so lucky to have found Mackenna on Rover. It has been a busy summer for us, and Barney and Bodie, had never been away from their homes or their dad (me) for any long period of times. This summer has brought an engagement trip, family wedding trip, and unfortunately a family funeral trip. Mackenna stepped in and took exceptional care of Barney and Bodie. Barney is very senior (18 or 19yrs) and is now deaf and mostly blind. He understands his home, but nighttime is tougher for him, as he needs frequent potty breaks, and he is not as aware during the nights. Mackenna stayed at our home, she had no problem dealing with Barney's schedule or his special feeding routine, and plant supplements to be administered. She also took Bodie (8 yr old collie) on numerous walks, and provided what he needed so he was also comfortable while his dad(me) being away, and then, the trip was extended due to a family death. Mackenna saved the situation, saying she could stay longer, immediately given us peace of mind. She is so caring, trustworthy, and she loves animals. We are grateful for your kindness!!
We were hesitant at first for ANYONE to watch our girls since this was our first time using Rover. When we did a meet and greet, we wanted the girls to trust the person they would be seeing for a few days. We had our doggy cam and we saw how happy they would be with Elena at times playing and getting hugs. The pictures proved they enjoyed her presence and were being taken care of. We were happy with the effort and care she gave for our girls as a doggy lover and would book Elena again for future trips again.

Lillian was great! She came by for a successful meet and greet before the sit and was reliable throughout her time at my home. Lillian sent photos and updates so I knew Penny was well cared for. I'd recommend Lillian to others looking for a responsible and kind pet sitter.

Cassandra was specular, she communicated at every step. We left safe with her care and compassion towards our high needs fur babies. She cleaned up and the house was just like we left it. She texted about her departure and followed thru with attention to detail when leaving.

Marlee is the best! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my little guy! She took exceptional care of him and really went above and beyond. Benji required medication and she was incredibly patient with him- making sure he took them without any stress. What really stood out to me was the extra care and thoughtfulness she showed. She even took him out for a walk in his stroller. It really gave me peace of mind that she was taking such good care of him.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Three Oaks walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Three Oaks maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Three Oaks choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Three Oaks. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
