“Karissa did a fantastic job. She took great care of my two dogs. Her communication was stellar! I got pictures and updates a few times per day. She was very punctual and kept them in their normal routine. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing their dogs cared for while you are out of town. Or just want someone to drop in on them while you are at work.”

“Emily was great! She was very communicative and made sure to ask questions if there was anything she wasn’t sure of and also to make sure the boys had an easy transition to being cared for by her! We will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“Highly recommend Taylor! Our two frenchies were well taken care of in our home and loved while we were away. Taylor is very communicative and provides updates throughout the stay. She was also very accommodating to our travel schedule. We will definitely book with Taylor again if she is available knowing our dogs and home are in safe hands!”

“Edward has an amazing gift with his ability to relate to dogs. Our shy dog warmed up to him right away and I swear both dogs are disappointed when we come home and Edward leaves. We never worry about a thing when Edward is dog sitting for us.”
About: I have grown up around cats, dogs, hamsters, turtles, lizards, etc. I currently have a cat of my own. I absolutely love playing with dogs and cats. I have pet sat for multiple family members and friends with dogs and cats. I have weird work schedules during the day. I do not always know where I will be the next day. I will almost always know ahead of time if I will be gone for more than 6 hours. I have a hybrid-type job. I will work in the field and then work from home the rest of the time. This makes it easier for me to have some flexibility around pet schedules. I have stayed in-house while sitting, and also just visited when needed. I have watched different-sized dogs and different ages as well. I have given medicine if needed. I do not usually deal with crated animals, but I would not mind a change if that is requested. If specific instructions are given for visits, I will follow them to the best of my ability and reach out if I have any issues.
About: I used to foster labrador retrievers, so I am familiar with dogs that may be in situations they feel uneasy with. I've owned cats my entire adult life. I do work full-time, but my lunch schedule is flexible so I can go at the time you feel is best to walk/check on your pet midday. I have great care at home for my own pets so when I'm pet sitting in your home, my attention won't be split between taking care of yours and mine. Well, except for quick stops to say "Hi" to mine. :) While in your home, I will treat it with the utmost respect. I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, but by your rules. My work hours are 8:30-5:30 Monday through Friday. When I am pet sitting, I try to keep my time outside of work unscheduled so I spend as much time as possible with your pets. Many pets are already anxious when their owners go away, someone being there, even if they don't want attention from that person, can be calming. However, if you do not think the opposite is true for your pet, and think they will do better with more limited time, you know your pets best and I'm happy to change that up.
“Tag did a wonderful job keeping our 14-year-old dog Otis calm during the July 4th fireworks, and she was super easy to communicate with. She also took great care of our apartment while staying with Otis, and we highly recommend her!”

“I am so happy to have found Laurie when I needed someone to take care of my cat Harley while I was gone on an extended vacation. First she explained how Rover works as I was new to the app and helped me fix up a couple things. While away she spent time with Harley as agreed. She worked with him wonderfully where he was snuggling with her by the end. I got pictures every day of their different interactions. Upon return, Harley was in good spirits. He missed me but having someone spend the time she did was perfect for him. The house was in excellent order also. I highly recommend Laurie if you need a pet sitter.”

“Sabrina watched our 3month old Cavapoo for a day. She is very friendly and great with dogs. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the day which made us know our puppy was in good hands. She even gave him his medicine and followed our schedule, with lots of walks and play time. We highly recommend her.”

“Nina is a wonderful sitter for my two furbabies. They are so happy to see her and are melancholy when she leaves. She follows my directions and is flexible with changes. I’m always at ease when she is with my girls.”

“Charles took great care of my dog! My dog is a lot to handle but Charles was more than capable. He came by for a meet & greet to get familiar with him and I definitely felt comfortable enough to leave to a multiple day festival while he watched my dog. Charles was also very respectful of my apartment and my neighbors who like to hang out with my dog on his walks only had positive things to say. Would definitely recommend and book again.”

“Mia really enjoyed having Mary stay with her while I was away. I came home to a happy dog which is my most important criteria for an excellent “puppy sitter”. I have booked Mary again.”

“Andrea was absolutely amazing with our two dogs! She kept us updated every day with pictures and messages, which meant so much to us while we were away. Our boys loved her, and she took such great care of both them and our home. We will definitely be using her again. We highly, highly recommend!”

Cypress Lake pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica was so wonderful with our dogs while we were gone for 2 weeks. She stayed at the house as we had hoped, made sure to get them out of the house on walks, and shared great communication throughout the whole process! We could tell in the pictures she sent us, that she truly cared for the dogs. We would have her back in a heartbeat! Thank you Jessica!

We had a great experience with Mary caring for our two golden retrievers in our home for a week! She is extremely dependable and went all out to keep our girls happy while we were gone. She is an excellent communicator and kept us well-informed all week. Plus, she took excellent care of our home. We felt our girls were in great hands and we would definitely book with Mary again.

Heather was amazing taking care of our sweet boy, Blue! She stayed at our place during our wedding weekend and amidst all the business both my husband and I had that weekend, we managed to feel relaxed and at ease knowing Heather was there. She sent daily pictures and updates and Blue looked like he was having a blast. She left the place spotless and even cleaned washed the bedding! We will definitely be using her again

Cecie was so sweet with our doggy Bear! This was our first time leaving Bear since he was diagnosed with heart disease and needs to be given regular pills. We were nervous to leave him. Cecie made us feel super comfortable. She gave regular updates on how he was doing. I recommend her to anyone who has animals with special needs!! Your baby will be in good hands.

I was incredibly hesitant to use another sitter from Rover after a terrible experience the last time but I took a chance with Brandi & Luis because the second I met them during our meet and greet I felt like they would be different and I was right! They were the BEST decision I made for my two doggies! They came right in and actually said hi to my dogs and showed so much interest in them and seemed to love them instantly! They worked with my schedule to do exactly what I needed and stayed at my house the entirety of my time away. I used them over the Fourth of July and one of my dogs does not do well with fireworks so I felt awful leaving her but she couldn’t have been in better hands! They stayed with her the entire time and followed my instructions down to every last word. They sent frequent updates with pictures and there was not a second I was worried my doggies weren’t being loved! They spent their time relaxing on the couch with them just like they do when we’re home and I know they took the absolute best care of them! I can’t wait to use them again if needed and I know my dogs will be THRILLED to see them again. I can’t speak highly enough, this was without a doubt the best Rover experience I’ve had and now I don’t ever want to use another dogsitter because I don’t think you can do better than Brandi & Luis!
