“Alena was amazing either way our animals. Beau wasn’t very sure about her at first but after the first couple visits he loved seeing her and getting to know her! I will recommend her to everyone I know with pets and hope to use her again in the future!! Thank you so much for loving on our babies!! 🩷”

“Jennifer is fantastic! She was the first time we ever left the two dogs with anyone besides family. After her first visit and update I was able to enjoy the entire vacay. The dogs were beyond loved the week Jen took care off them. We will definitely use Jen anytime we need doggie sitting. Thank you again Jen for everything! 😘”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since birth! 🐾 I grew up with at least two cats and two dogs at all times, and I volunteered and fostered dogs at a shelter for eight months while living in Mexico. As a passionate world traveler, I’ve also had the opportunity to meet incredible animals, from kangaroo and koala to luwak and stingray! I truly love all animals and believe pets deserve the same love, patience, and care we give our family. ❤️ I’d love to make your furry friends feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I work as a part-time flight attendant, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet sitting! I’m unable to have pets of my own at the moment, so I’d love the opportunity to give your furry friends extra love and attention while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home! Whether your pet wants cuddles, playtime, or simply someone nearby, I’ll respect their personality and boundaries. I’m tidy, responsible, and respectful of your space, and I’ll follow your pet’s routines while giving them all the love and attention they need.
“B. is simply the best. She connects with your pets and goes the extra mile. She made sure every instruction was followed and took fabulous care of our three dogs. She is kind and patient with my less confident little dog and understood the needs of my rambunctious puppy and my more senior dog. I was very nervous about my fur babies and B. alleviated my fears and took beautiful care of our dogs. 💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been the one my family counts on to train and care for our pets. During COVID, I turned that lifelong love into a neighborhood dog walking business, and I’ve kept it going ever since — spending my free time walking, training, and caring for dogs in the community. As a student athlete, my schedule revolves around classes and basketball practice — but outside of that, I’m free and flexible to work whenever you need me. When I’m caring for a dog, whether on a walk or in their own home, I treat them like one of my own. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and positive reinforcement, and I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs and personality. I always follow the owner’s routines and instructions closely — feeding times, leash habits, favorite spots — so the dog feels comfortable and the owner feels at ease. Safety and consistency come first, but so does making sure every dog has fun.

About: I have a lot of professional and personal experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I managed a dog daycare, boarding and training facility for many years. I know how to handle dogs who struggle with anxiety, reactivity and fearfulness. I have experience taking care of senior dogs with health issues as well. I had a dog that experienced seizures in the later years of his life. I am experienced with administering medication, whether it’s oral, topical or injection. I have experience with training dogs as well. I use positive reinforcement for my training! I am comfortable with any size dog and any breed, there is no such thing as an “aggressive breed” :) I am more than happy to take on the care of puppies as well. I love all dogs, they are my biggest passion in life 🐶🐾 I believe dogs (and all pets/animals) deserve the absolute best in life!! I currently work part time. I have the day time off and work a few nights a week. My schedule is fairly flexible, but I do need more notice for weekends or around holidays, as I typically work both. I can care for pets in your home/area so they don’t have to leave their environment. I know most dogs are more comfortable in their own home! I will obey your wishes with the care of your dog(s). Walks, meals, treats, play time, cuddle time.. whatever you’d like for your fur children I will do. I’ll gladly send photos and updates as well :) I understand it can be stressful leaving your pups in a strangers care - my dog is my whole world, so I want you to rest assured that I will treat your dog(s) like they are my own!!
About: I have worked in the pet industry for over 10 years and have loved and cared for animals my entire life. The dream is to one day be fully involved with or create an organization dedicated to saving stray and wild animals in whatever way they need. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my fur babies and when caring for yours, I’d consider them one of my own. My dog Lilly is very high energy so she has trained me to love long walks and exercise outside no matter the weather. You can count on my services to consistently exceed your expectations and strive for nothing below excellence when it comes to the care of your pets. Cant wait to meet you all! :) <3 Wether your pet needs a short walk a few times a day or one long walk to get a good exercise, I am fully available for your furry family members! I offer short or long walks, medicine administration, or even do nail trims if needed! My services are flexible to you and your pet’s needs.
“Sandy was awesome. My cats seemed to love her and it was comforting to know they were being watched by someone who enjoyed them just as much. She was great about updating me every day and asking questions to make sure their routine stayed the same while I was out of town.”

“Mary was an absolute life saver! I had an emergency, and Mary was there to help out! She checked in on my dog and cat for a few days. They absolutely loved her! She not only made sure they were all walked, fed, and happy, but played with them and spent time each visit making sure they got tons of love and attention. Will absolutely be using Mary again for boarding or drop in’s - she was beyond fantastic!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Three Oaks
We have used Aaniya multiple times to care for Mario. This time was for a week where she dropped in to feed, brush and play with him. She also scooped litter and made sure his water fountain was running and filled. We found Mario all fluffy and nice. The apartment was neat and tidy. Aaniya provided daily updates and followed all instructions. We plan on using her again and would recommend her without any hesitation. Mario loves her!

Excellent. Emma did a wonderful job taking care of our cat while we were away, always on time, kept the feeding area and litter boxes spotless, and sent detailed updates with cute photos after every visit. Vincenzo, our cat, was happy when we returned. Highly recommended!

Lily was awesome. She visited with my 35 lb dog, Cooper three times a day (feed, water, and 30 minute walk) and gave him a ‘report card’, detailing pee, poop, walk details and other important information. I was pleased by her devotion to making him comfortable.
Catherine is a true GEM! She is highly intelligent, caring and loves dogs 🐾 She was extremely accommodating to us and took excellent care of our two mini Aussies. Came on time, and not only walked them but stayed and played with them too by our pool. They love her. We will be using her for sure in the future!

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
