About: Growing up around Forster dogs and family pets, caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. About: When I was visiting my family in Brazil, I found a kitten all alone, meowing under a car. He was only a few days old and had been abandoned. I took him home and bought everything needed to care for a newborn kitten. I took him to the vet for exams, purchased the necessary supplements, and that’s where my challenge began. I provided all the essential care the kitten needed, from the manual stimulation required to help him go to the bathroom, to preparing his special kitten milk formula and bottle-feeding him every day. I truly became a mother to him. Every small achievement felt like a victory, such as the first time he climb onto the couch or walk without falling haha. Unfortunately, I had to return from my trip, but he was left in good hands with one of my closest friends, who still calls me to update me on how he’s doing today. By far, this was the most meaningful experience I’ve ever had with an animal, having the power to save a life. I would say rabbits and cats are my weak spots when it comes to pets, an extraordinary kind of love. I have had cats since I was a child and have always been very attached to them. Because of this, when it comes to pet care in general, I have the most knowledge and experience with cats. However, regardless of the animal, I always care for them with a lot of love.

About: My whole life I have been surrounded by animals of all kind. I always navigated to them, growing a deep passion and love for all sizes, shapes, and types of animals. In my teenage years to now I have been a reliable pet sitter, and friendly companion while the pets owners are not able to be there. I currently live in a place where my landlord prefers me to not have a pet, so I try my best to stay surrounded by other’s pets. I truly enjoy the company of a furry friend and would love to help you have a smoother schedule and not have to worry about the time missed with them while you’re away. I am a yoga teacher by morning and waitress by night however my days are somewhat open and flexible with the current schedule that I have, I am typically at work for 6 hours. Unfortunately I would not be a great fit for smaller dogs that need to go out more often but if their bathroom schedule fits well with my work schedule, I’d love to be their companion while you are away and give them all the attention when I am there with them. Since my landlord will not allow me to have pets, I can only care for your pets in the comfort of your own space. I find it easy to adapt to each pet’s needs and do whatever I need to to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and feel loved.

I love all animals but specifically, I have a real warm appreciation for dogs. Back in Virginia, my mother is a certified dog trainer and started her own dog training/boarding company so we had many different breeds at our house 24/7 and I loved every moment of it! I have learned many training tips from my mom, and ever since I moved to Florida I miss the comfort of having pups around which is why I joined Rover. We have 1 miniature dachshund who gets along well with other dogs. Our apartment complex is very dog friendly and has a dog park. For safety purposes and to keep your dog safe, I do not go to the dog park if there are other dogs there and I do not host dogs from different families at the same time.
About: I live in GATEWAY, near JetBlue park. I grew up on a farm in Ohio tending for many animals for many years. Have owned several cats, dogs and lizards in my adult life. Do not currently own any pets I am a Flight Attendant. I create my own travel schedule, so I can be flexible with enough notice. When I’m home I’m completely flexible with my routine. I have one elderly cat and two dogs currently in my home. My cat has to be quarantined to one part of the house due to the fact my dog Molly has developed a fear of cats and can’t be trusted with Lucy. She also doesn’t like other dogs so I unfortunately can’t do any petsitting in my home. I have excellent references that can be provided. I understand it is scary to let a stranger watch your fur child so I will gladly provide references at your request. I will cater to your pets special needs and will do my best to provide them comfort and love while you are away. I offer a free meet and greet to go over all care instructions that will be needed while you are away. This gives us a bit to get to know one another. My dog (Ollie) is very particular and a bit high maintenance, but Xiao knew exactly knew what to do since she has her own dogs and taken care of dog all her life. Xiao has 3 dogs of her own, you can tell that she treats them well and will treat your dog like her own. Something came up during my trip and I had to reschedule my pickup time, and Xiao was more than accommodating.
