Something came up during my trip and I had to reschedule my pickup time, and Xiao was more than accommodating. “Ashlee was great! Our little Bella seemed like she was comfortable pretty quickly when I dropped her off. Ashlee said she tries to group smaller dogs together when sitting. Bella was by far the smallest but she was with dogs that are supposed to be similar size to her (she was the runt and just never got beyond 7lbs!) She ate more than she typically does when going to unfamiliar places which was reassuring as well. She came home happy but exhausted. The home is very pet friendly😊”

About: I have taken care of cats for as long as I can remember! My first kitty, Ginger, was brought into my family before I was born, and passed of old age around when I was 8. A few years later, I was able to convince my mom to let me have not only one, but two. A brother and sister, Jack and Licorice, respectively. They were my pride and joy, until recently a few years ago Jack, who out lived Licorice, passed sway, but thankfully was a peaceful, harmless death of old age. Since a child, I was always in charge of the litter box, knowing all the steps that go into ensuring its freshness and comfortability for the furry babies to use. I did have another experience later in life where I learned a lot when one of my best friends had a kitten, Bhodie that had a suddenly rare condition he could not use his back legs. With this, I would help her put diapers on him and help him pee manually until his passing. About: I have been a professional pet sitter for a family in Palm Beach for two years. I used to stay at the family's house every weekend caring for their five dogs. I have always been an animal lover and creating relationships with all pets. I especially love playing with animals, such as going for a walk in the morning or going to the park to play fetch. Pets do better when nothing changes, so I'm not going to substitute my way of doing things. Every visit: fresh water, food per your instructions, potty break or full walk, litter boxes handled, meds on schedule, and a good look at how they're doing — appetite, energy, output, anything that seems off. I clean up any accidents and leave your home the way I found it. I'll text photos and a short update each time so you're not wondering. My Yorkie, Coco, is nine years old and takes medication in the morning and at bedtime. I also make sure her food is softened to a mushy, baby-food-like consistency so she can swallow it properly. Her birth mom, Chloe, also sleeps with us, and whenever Coco gets her morning medication, Chloe gets a little piece of a pill pocket too—just so she doesn’t feel left out! ❤️ In the morning, I also check on the two Dachshunds, who are both boys. I let them out of their kennel, pick up any poop, clean up any accidents, change their potty pads, make sure they have plenty of fresh water, and get them ready to come out and play. The two cats have their own set feeding schedule, with their food dispensing automatically at the appropriate times. My friend’s dogs also eat once a day at bedtime, while Coco eats breakfast and dinner. At 8:30 PM, Coco gets her bedtime snack along with her nighttime medication, and all of the dogs get a bedtime snack so everyone feels included. Around 10:00–10:30 PM, it’s bedtime for me, Coco, and Chloe, who both sleep with me. The pups also get a little midnight snack—just a couple of pieces of a pill pocket—and Coco gets another potty break outside. Throughout the day, she gets plenty of opportunities to go outside, while the other three dogs use potty pads indoors. The cats are wonderful about using their litter boxes, and of course, they get treats too—cat treats, not dog treats! 🐱❤️ I also love creating a calm and relaxing environment for the animals. We listen to instrumental lullabies in the morning to help everyone have a peaceful start to the day, and lullabies play throughout the night at bedtime. During the day, there is plenty of playtime, singing, dancing, cuddling, and of course, lots of talking! One of my favorite things is talking to the animals as if they can actually answer me. I’ll ask them if they remember where I put something, and for just a split second, I genuinely expect them to verbally answer me. Then we giggle about it! 😂🐾 That’s just who I am. I talk to the dogs and cats all day long like they’re little humans, and I love when they communicate with me in their own special ways. I’m also currently helping train my friend’s dogs, and they are doing really well! They have been learning commands such as sit and stay, and I even taught them how to dance for a treat. We’re also working on shaking paws and lying down. They’re learning slowly but surely, and I’m so proud of the progress they’re making! When your pets are in my care, I want them to feel like they are part of the family—not simply being watched, but genuinely loved, cared for, talked to, played with, and given plenty of attention throughout the day. 🐶🐱❤️
