About: I know how to document everything that they need from meds to feeding baths and walks and some training I was a kennel assistant manager at my old daycare so I have a lot of experience on how to make sure things are clean and animals get taken care of properly and keeping clients updated all the time I also have experience with reptiles I used to have lizards frogs fish and salamanders but I won't do snakes unless they are non venomous I'm currently unemployed and I would like to work with animals again to get my resume up to become a vet technician once I can go to online classes I'll be free all the time I'll make sure they are taken care of in your home fed properly and if they need meds I'll make sure to do that and play with them

About: I have always grown up around and taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I have always had my own pet in one way or another since I was 13. I have been really wanting a dog but due to certain circumstances I cannot get one right now so I’m using my free time to try and help people with dogs and other animals. Right now I am an assistant prekindergarten teacher but we are on our last days of school and I need something to do that will keep me busy and help others. Right now I am available every week day after 1:30pm and all day on weekends; until June 2 which is when summer break will start and then I’ll be available 24/7. Unfortunately I’m not in a position to bring other animals into my home but I do have 2 adult cats that i feed and play with everyday.

She’s a lively, energetic girl who used to be quite reactive, but after completing training at The Dog Wizard in Fort Myers, I gained valuable skills in managing pet reactivity and anxiety. The program taught me how to help dogs feel safe and secure, as well as how to recognize potential triggers and handle them appropriately during walks. Through this experience, I’ve become comfortable with standard commands, proper leash handling, and reinforcing positive behavior. With the Florida heat, I’m always mindful of pavement temperatures to protect sensitive paws. I stay highly attentive on walks, ensuring pets don’t pick up anything harmful from the ground and carefully monitoring our surroundings for potential triggers—such as other dogs, strollers, bicycles, or traffic—based on my own experience managing a reactive dog. My pets have always been like family to me, and I will treat yours with the same level of care, attention, and love. I’ve also pet sat for many friends, working with dogs of various temperaments and personalities. I understand that every dog and cat is unique, and I take the time to build trust with each pet in a way that makes them feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently a part-time personal trainer with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate reliable, attentive care to your pets. “Velvet was wonderful! Our Bear is an old guy with special needs and medications and Velvet did a great job handling all that he needed. She kept us in the loop on all meals, walks and medications and even sent us photos along the way so we could see how happy he was (maybe too happy without us! LOL). We arrived home to a happy pup and our home safe and sound. We will definitely use Velvet again in the future :)”

“First time using Rover and we sure got super lucky after making out choice selecting Michelle. She responded to my initial request within 20 minutes. She agreed to come for a face to face meeting the next day. She interacted with out Chihuahua immediately. Then sat with us to chat and continue to give our dog attention. Great impression followed by also being prompt, caring and interactive with us while we were on our trip with multiple texts and photos daily. We were at ease leaving our sweet little girl with Michelle. Upon returning home, she had already washed the sheets and towels and put everything back together along with leaving some fresh groceries. I simply cannot say enough about Michelle. She is a 5 plus star person.”
