This was our first time using an overnight dog sitter, and we had no worries or concerns, which is a huge relief. Dogs were calm and happy when we got home. About: Hello! My name is Alex and I am currently a registered nurse. I moved to Fort Myers 2 years ago, but I am originally from Virginia. I love all animals but specifically, I have a real warm appreciation for dogs. Back in Virginia, my mother is a certified dog trainer and started her own dog training/boarding company so we had many different breeds at our house 24/7 and I loved every moment of it! I have learned many training tips from my mom, and ever since I moved to Florida I miss the comfort of having pups around which is why I joined Rover. I consider myself a person whose not only affectionate but very trustworthy, energetic, friendly, professional and reliable. These characteristics led me to my nursing career. My schedule is flexible and I can provide my own transportation. If you need to reach me, texting is the best way to contact me. I promise to take care of your dog as if it was my own. It is no surprise that humans can relate to the quote - "a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than they love themself." My schedule for work is different every week so the best way to know which days I am available is to look at my calendar. I live in an apartment with my boyfriend and we have hosted many dogs before. We have 1 miniature dachshund who gets along well with other dogs. Our apartment complex is very dog friendly and has a dog park. For safety purposes and to keep your dog safe, I do not go to the dog park if there are other dogs there and I do not host dogs from different families at the same time.

About: Throughout my high school and college experiences, I have fulfilled my volunteer hours working with local humane socialites! Animals have always had a special place in my heart. Having earned my bachelor’s in psychology, I was able to take a course about therapy using animals! Currently I am a fine dining server for a restaurant only open for dinner! So I am only ever unavailable for 4-5 hours most days, but can make stops before and after going to work!! My schedule has made me very flexible, and I would love to help those take care of their fur babies who may need an extra hand! I am currently employed at a fine dining seafood restaurant job that is open 4PM- 10PM everyday! I wake up early and have the whole day available until my nightly shift. And, I never would mind making a stop after I get off work! I just moved recently, so I am scouting 2 cats myself. With that, I recently moved out of my ex- lover’s house where he had a cat and 2 dogs. There was a completely fenced in backyard for the puppies to play, and plenty of space for the cat to roam! I’m my new house, we have an extra room that will be dedicated to the kitty’s and will be called the “cat room”, while we also have quite a large back patio where they can freely roam and get fresh air!!

About: I have been caring and having a love for animals at all my young life it has taught me everything I need to know on how to handle and show love to cats and dogs! I will love and care for your animals just like I do mine they are my 3rd and 4th furbabies🐶🐱. I occasionally weekend sit for a golden retriever , we go on walks , snuggle and watch movies and play. I do have multiple references as well. I can do weekend sleepovers daily visits and you saying that is needed to keep the family at peace while they are out of town. I have administered vitamins and cbd oil to a few dogs for anxiety, storms etc. Thank you for your time! I do have multiple dog/cat families that I care for. I also have 6 cats at home that I care for. Currently this is what I do for work. I mostly take care of your pets in your home that way your animals are comfortable in their own setting. Especially if you have a dog and have a fenced yard,I find that more helpful.
