About: I have been a dog lover and owner most of my life. I currently have 2 dogs, both are longhair dachshunds ages 8 and 5 months, who do get along with other dogs. About: I have taken care of cats for as long as I can remember! My first kitty, Ginger, was brought into my family before I was born, and passed of old age around when I was 8. A few years later, I was able to convince my mom to let me have not only one, but two. A brother and sister, Jack and Licorice, respectively. They were my pride and joy, until recently a few years ago Jack, who out lived Licorice, passed sway, but thankfully was a peaceful, harmless death of old age. Since a child, I was always in charge of the litter box, knowing all the steps that go into ensuring its freshness and comfortability for the furry babies to use. I did have another experience later in life where I learned a lot when one of my best friends had a kitten, Bhodie that had a suddenly rare condition he could not use his back legs. With this, I would help her put diapers on him and help him pee manually until his passing. I would be so grateful to be in the presence and take care of the duties for kittens and cats, as it is something I am well experienced on, and miss spending time with so much!!

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I have two adopted dogs, Paris and Rio, and have taken care of pets for at least 5 years,which provide me with enough experience to care for any pet. About: We are a very dog friendly, loving family, with a 1 yr old lab/pit mix, who is highly energetic and also a big love bug. His favorite thing to do every day is to be taken to the dog park to play fetch and go for lots of walks. Prior to him, we had an amazing 7 yr old beagle bull, whom sadly passed away in 2025 of cancer. She got to travel everywhere with us and had the best dog life ever. And prior to that we had an amazing 11yr old yellow lab we adored dearly, who also passed away of cancer. About: My husband and I grew up loving dogs and, in fact, met through our pups. A real life case of puppy love! I grew up raising labs with my parents and through my work abroad have come to adopt two dogs of my own - Chance from Sudan and Mia from Colombia. My husband , David, studied veterinary medicine in Colombia where he has offers private dog training and runs a successful dog school (Gooddog Colegio Canino Campestre) for nearly 10 years. We hope to open a pet shop in MD soon. In the meantime, we hope to make more furry friends part of our extended family here and to save up for this dream to become a reality. When not focused on our dog business, we are proud parents to our own adopted pups and are always looking to take on more. In the near future we’ll also join Guiding Eyes and train dogs for the blind. A little about me personally: I’ve worked for the federal government nearly 15 years and take my responsibilities very seriously. I consider myself detail oriented but flexible. I will always do my best to go the extra mile and keep clients informed of everything through regular texts and photos. I’m also always looking to learn and welcome recommendations on how I can grow. Our home in Hyattsville has a fully fenced in backyard with a doggie door for easy access in and outside. We’re also surrounded by plenty of parks and green spaces and, on the weekends, love to explore new places with our pups and their stay-over friends! I have standard work hours during the week and great flexibility on the weekend. I’m on a hybrid telework schedule so the number of days I go into the office varies by week. I’m happy to try to rework my schedule to adapt to the needs of long term care or repeat clients. Our two pups are very easy going and have never had a problem with any other pets. They love the company and vice versa! Pets are able to roam the bottom floor of the house and fenced backyard freely. We also have crates of all sizes for those who prefer it.
