“Morgan stayed with our doggo while we were out of town for a holiday. Our pup was well loved and she shared daily photos of their fun together. She also took care of his daily medications. If your dog loves belly scratches and plenty of love, then Morgan is a good fit for you!”

“Alfons was excellent. Very responsive, responsible and on time. Even our cat who is afraid of everything had an excellent time during their sit! I would absolutely trust them with our home and furry creatures again.”

“Genevieve is the best with our dog! She was excellent at communicating and sending us pictures to keep us updated. She took him on many adventures which he loves! She watched our dog in our home and took excellent care of everything. We felt very relaxed and comfortable with Genevieve which made our trip so much more enjoyable. She has a real love for the fur babies. We will definitely be hiring her again. Thank you, Genevieve for all the care and love you have to our pup!”

“Emily is professional, trustworthy. detailed and absolutely the best. Our chihuahua mix can be timid and feisty with new people. To our surprise our chi mix cuddled with her the first night and enjoyed her walks from the pictures that were sent. Our hearts were at ease knowing our pups were well cared for. Will be using Emily in the future!”

“Aeries did really good watching over my dog and 2 cats. I will definitely be bringing her back next time I leave. She was very attentive and gave me updates (pictures) daily. 💚 Really great service!”

“My dog and cat were very well cared for by Jessica. I received daily check in and adorable photos. Jessica is great with my animals and responsible, reliable and easy to work with and communicate with. Definitely plan on asking Jessica to sit with my animals again.”

“Serenity is a wonderful communicator who made us feel at ease, house sitting and taking care of our furry ones! She was very kind and even took time and energy to leave the house better than she found it! I hope to have many more bookings with Serenity in the future!”

“Toni came and stayed at our house and watched our pup Manny. She was wonderful! We got daily updates and pictures. She took great care of Manny and our home! We highly recommend her! Thanks Toni!”

“Miss Holly was amazing with our animals, they were very well taken care of. Everything was exactly as we left it upon our return. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again if the need arises.”

“Sherri was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly professional, communicative, and gave us peace of mind when we were out of town. She kept us up to date multiple times throughout every day, and took care of the pets and the house very well. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!”

“This was our first time using Hallie and we were so impressed with her. She took such good care of our boys! She even had a little emergency with one of them and she contacted us and our emergency contact to let us know and find out what we would like her to do. She handled the situation like a pro. She stayed at our house and we had no worries. We definitely will be using her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a good sitter. Thanks, Hallie!”

“Nellie is the absolute best! She always kept us updated on our pup (Mango) status and made her feel so special and even got her to go on walks beyond her comfort zone! And even though we were only gone 1 week, when we got home Mango was now missing Nellie! Nellie was like having one of our family watch our dog and we will definitely use her again whenever Mango needs a sitter.”

“Once again, Brian was amazing. He was very loving towards our dog, took her on hour long walks even though she can be very difficult, and left our house clean and tidy.”

“Tonya was completely reliable in fulfilling what we had agreed upon for taking care of Sadie and Sammy and spending four days and nights with them. She has excellent experience and is sensitive and understanding about older pets, and people! She kept in touch with us daily and sent photos. I would not hesitate to ask Tony to return next time we need to go away.”

“Ana is the best! I feel 100% confident when we leave our dog Abbey with her. She is super conscientious and really understands dog behavior. Ana stayed with our dog at our house. She took excellent care of our dog and house and even watered our plants. She communicated very well before our booking and sent us updates and photos while she was sitting for our dog.”

“This is the first time using your service. Lindsay was excellent in every way. She has a way with animals and goes over and above in every way at our house. We would definitely use your service and would want Lindsay every time. Thank you very much.”

“Crystal took amazing care of my newly adopted dog, Ziggy, and my two cats while I was away. She did such a great job with them, and it was obvious they all loved her. I also really appreciated that when I got delayed getting back into town because of traffic, she came back out again to make sure Ziggy got dinner and could get out since I was going to be home pretty late. That meant a lot and was truly above and beyond. She’s awesome, super dependable, and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I've been around dogs for most of my life. I've had from a little tiny Mini Poodle to large dogs a Presa Canario German-Sheppard mix. I'm well verse with commands and training with treats. I at the moment can't have a dog where I live and I miss being around them, so I figured this will be a good way to visit with dogs without taking one home...hence "Fur Auntie!" I love all kinds of dogs, I do best with medium to large dogs because that's been the most recent years of experience. I'm not afraid of any breed, I had Sandi (Presa) and Lolah (Pitbull) my two large dogs. I've frequently dog sat for my friends several times in the last 10 years. At the time I had my dogs and boarded them at my house. I'm single and don't have kids so I'll have time for your fur baby!! I'll spend time with them if you don't have the time so they don't get lonely and keep them out of trouble....I'm very patient and I will take them time to make sure your fur baby has fun while we walk or visit. I'd love to meet you and your special fur family. This helps me too because I love dogs, I have 3 days off a week, this will keep me busy and help you out too, we both win! Please message me I'd love to walk and visit with you puppy.

Ashley did a great job with my pups! Took the time to meet them and make sure they’d be comfortable before we left which goes a long way with our big dog that needs time to adjust. Came home to both of them looking happy and relaxed. Would definitely book again.

Nina stayed at our house with Simba for about three weeks. She did a great job taking care of him and our house. Simba got a nice walk every day, and we received lots of pictures and updates on a daily basis. This definitely reassured us, being a long ways from home during this time. He seemed very happy and content during his stay with Nina. She also watered the inside and outside plants, took care of the mail, and left the house thoroughly clean, even washing the bedsheets. We would definitely recommend her and will plan on using her again in the future.

This was the longest trip we have taken since adopting our second dog. We felt very confident in taking the time because Genevieve has been so great with the hounds previously. This time was no different! Great communication and the house and hounds were well cared for. It is obvious that Genevieve cares appreciates the animals she cares for in a way that transcends a paying job. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Everything with Ireland went so smoothly I can hardly believe I stressed about leaving in the first place! My active German Shorthaired Pointer settled right in with her (he’s a Velcro dog) and got lots of walks and exercise. I appreciated all of the mini updates and especially the frequent pictures. She took great care of my home so it was easy to relax and enjoy vacation. Stark was excited to see me when I returned, but sad to see Ireland go. He will see her again because I will definitely book her again!

Nicole took amazing care of our sweet girl. She was responsive to our texts and kept us updated on how our pup was doing, pictures and all. She even took our Maui on an adventure for the day. It warmed our heart to see that our little gal was in such great care. Hoping that Nicole will consider watching our pup again in the future.

Melissa was a fantastic sitter who stayed at our home and took great care of Henry and Charlie while we were away. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and she kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. She followed all care instructions, handled our dogs’ different personalities with confidence and care, and we came home to happy pups and a clean, well kept house. We will absolutely book Melissa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy sitter.

Tiah sat for us for a week in our home when we went abroad. She is one of the best Rover sitters we've hired. She was great with our dog and cat. Our cat never comes out for sitters on their first day in our home, but he did for her. We really appreciated the genuine care with which she treated our home and our animals. She is responsible, kind, communicative, and trustworthy. She left our home spotless at the end of her stay. She really went above and beyond for us to ensure we felt reassured and safe with a new sitter. We would recommend her services to anyone.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Everett on Rover is $55 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Everett walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Everett maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Everett choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
