Routine and consistency is important! With an awareness of the vastness of unique temperaments, I am in tandem with the virtues of deep patience. I spiritually commit to the values of honesty and responsibility within my human limitations. I respect your space and your boundaries concerning your space. Note that I do know (and have performed) some basic animal first-aid. Paired with outdoor survival training, I have my CPR/first-aid certification for humans, but from YouTube academy my education for pets can only go so far: I don't currently have a certification for animal first-aid.

Any needs your pet has I enjoy having in some form of writing. If your pet needs more exercise, timely medication, emotional availability, significant play time, or even a home cooked meal prepared with my knowledge of kitchen industry standards, I am the listening, present, and deeply willing.
A typical day
Your animal is practically a child I'm caring for. They receive my love as if they're just as human as a human with unique needs. Effectively my best friend for the duration of our time together I'm their partner in attentative affection. As an active outdoor enthusiast, I'm happy to let your pet's desire take the lead rain or shine. I seek to maintain your schedule (or a bit extra!) as if I'm your pets favorite auntie.

Pets run to me/follow me around. Find out why! As a former marine research scientist, pet magazine merchandiser, and passionate "student of life," I deeply value all animals of all "walks" the best I have learned how to. No pet would be uncared for or "left behind" no matter their needs. I've owned kittens who cuddle with me, cats who use outside bathrooms, dogs of various breeds and sizes, fish who swim in healthy waters, and before Rover I have house sat for pet owners with 5+ pets including rabbits. Even been hired to manage feeding and maintaining livestock (chickens, cows etc) since a middle school age. G Ventura is on a mission to show patient tenderness to all animals of all species. Under my watch I strive to maximize your pets happiness and well-being with attentive care in a physical and emotional sense. They are a precious priority, therefore I strive to be the type of person I would leave pets with.

This was the longest trip we have taken since adopting our second dog. We felt very confident in taking the time because Genevieve has been so great with the hounds previously. This time was no different! Great communication and the house and hounds were well cared for. It is obvious that Genevieve cares appreciates the animals she cares for in a way that transcends a paying job. Highly recommended. Thank you!
This was the first time that G. took care of our little dog, Hank. Hank needed care for 12 hours. G. was great!--on time (at 5 am!), responsive to communications from us, playful with Hank (and he loves to play, play, play!), ensuring that his rest time and food needs were met. Hank absolutely loved his day with G. We would definitely use G. again!
Genevieve is great with our dogs. You can tell she truly cares about them and they are always happy and content after her visits. Good and thoughtful communication. Would 100% recommend. Thank you!
