“Autumn was so loving with our little guy. He has some anxiety, but she let him try out several new fun adventures and he had a great time. Autumn sent us photos and updates during her stay at our place. She was great at communicating and we would definitely have her watch our Finny again!”

“Nellie is amazing! She kept us updated and sent us photos so we knew our corgi, Mango, was being well cared for. Mango was so comfortable with Nellie from the start and was so excited to see her. We will definitely be using Nellie again!”

“Dorian was absolutely wonderful! Our kitty was happy to have the company and we even were given a cute printed photo of him from Dorian after the stay. We are excited to have Dorian pop in for doggy walking in a few weeks. :)”

“Jordan watched our fur babies in our home for 11 days. She did an amazing job. The babies were well taken care of as was our home. She returned the home to ready status by doing the bed laundry and leaving no trace. But, the most important was the care and love our wee ones received. I can tell they took to her and were comfortable and at peace while we were away. Knowing that brought great comfort. Thank you Jordan. We really appreciate you.”

“Nathan is the best! We got updates and pictures multiple times a day. He is always quick to respond and takes great care of our girl! Highly recommend him for your pet sitting needs.”

“Nina stayed at our house with Simba for about three weeks. She did a great job taking care of him and our house. Simba got a nice walk every day, and we received lots of pictures and updates on a daily basis. This definitely reassured us, being a long ways from home during this time. He seemed very happy and content during his stay with Nina. She also watered the inside and outside plants, took care of the mail, and left the house thoroughly clean, even washing the bedsheets. We would definitely recommend her and will plan on using her again in the future.”

“Lexi is wonderful with my pups! I’ve used her before and have been consistently pleased. My dogs love her, even my shy, avoidant little girl pup. Lexi is friendly, thoughtful, considerate, and very easy to work with. She is thorough and asks questions/makes suggestions about things I wish I had thought of!”

About: Since the day I came home from the hospital dogs, cats, and pets have been in my life. From having a German shepherd as a big brother as a baby, to growing up with Rottweilers, cats, and a couple reptiles throughout my childhood, to Pitbulls and Staffies as an adult. I've grown up loving, taking care of, and training puppies and rescue dogs longer than I can remember. I'm comfortable with pretty much all animals! One of my favorite parts about owning "aggressive" or "bully" breed dogs is creating a strong bond&trust and working with their training. Not only is it rewarding to see their progress and be able to change some people's perception and show them even the "scary" dogs can be as much of a big gentle lover as any other. So big or small, your pets are in good hands! I currently work a full time 9-5 but I'm looking to add a job to the end of the day after I get off work Outdoor: -Walking or playing outside for exercise, bathroom breaks, or mental stimulation Indoor: -Play time, changing or cleaning pads or catboxes or trying to work with them as needed by the client

“Jacob accepted our last minute request to look after our two dogs. He was polite and attentive, following the instruction we left behind for their routine. Jacob made sure to send pictures and updates of the dogs during our trip. It was greatly appreciated! ^_^ Very grateful!”

“Baylee was a wonderful sitter for our dog Zima! She has great communication and kept us updated while we were away, including sending us lots of pictures which made us feel so at ease! We’re kind of those crazy pet parents whose dog is our whole world and we could not have asked for a better person to watch Zima. Baylee even continued our routine of doing a doggy advent calendar with Zima each morning and sent pictures which were the highlight of each day!”

“Zachariah goes above and beyond for our puppies! He asks all the right questions and sent us prompt updates and photos of puppies so we ALWAYS had assurance that our puppies were doing well! He is so kind and courteous, thoughtful and respectful to our furry family and his love of animals is VERY clear! We’ll be depending on Zach for our puppy’s care in the future!!!!”

“Victoria visited and cared for our 4 year old kitty for 5 days, and we couldn't have been more grateful for her services. We came home to a happy, stress-free kitty, and received many pictures of the creature while we were gone. I highly recommend her! ? ??”

“Absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough great things about Nancy. She was just wonderful with our dog. From meeting us early to keeping us updated. Everything was seemless and we highly recommend Nancy for watching anyone’s dog. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our dog.”

About: Working from home full time allows me to be able to be there for your fur baby when you can’t due to vacation or work; but they won’t know the difference because Simba and Sno will keep your pet company/busy. I’m a home body so pet care fits in my schedule pretty regularly considering I have 2 Frenchies running around. Lol. I work from home full-time so I’m here more often then not. I have a fenced backyard that the dogs have room to run back and forth in; tons of toys and endless amount of care and love to provide.
“Kristen did a great job unfortunately we didn’t need her for the whole week but she did come in early one day and check on Rodney and the chickens and I really appreciate that. Thank you so much. Great job. Look forward to working with you in the future.”

About: Before coming back to the vet field I used to work as a pet nanny solely to a family with 7 dogs and 3 cats at one time while also managing that households chores and responsibilities- including cleaning and gardening. I currently work 3 days a week from 7am-6pm Mon,Tues,Fri, and have large availability around that. I can do stop ins and spend the night on work days, and spend all day at your place when discussed ahead of time. I'm happy to do drop in visits multiple times a day to care for your critters and medicate them if needed, or just visit once to make sure all is well. I can feed, clean litter boxes, go for potty walks and transport pets to appointments. I offer only going to your house to care for your pets as my zoo at home does not appreciate any more friends. I will use your equipment, food and medications to care for your pets, but can also bring my own if needed and discussed in advance.
“Always a pleasure having Carlynn stay at our home. She is respectful, communicative and takes great care of our fur babies. She even helped care for our small bird. She left our home clean and well cared for. We hope to book her again in the future!”

“We really appreciated the care that Kayln took looking after our cat and home. She was always super responsive during the booking process and provided us regular updates during the stay. It was really great to see that our little guy was comfortable around her and the house was well looked after.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Priest Point
Everything with Ireland went so smoothly I can hardly believe I stressed about leaving in the first place! My active German Shorthaired Pointer settled right in with her (he’s a Velcro dog) and got lots of walks and exercise. I appreciated all of the mini updates and especially the frequent pictures. She took great care of my home so it was easy to relax and enjoy vacation. Stark was excited to see me when I returned, but sad to see Ireland go. He will see her again because I will definitely book her again!

As of August 2026, there are 6,580 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Priest Point. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Priest Point walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Priest Point maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Priest Point choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Priest Point. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
