About: I'm a certified veterinary assistant. I've spent the past 6 years working in daycare boarding and rescue facilities. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, medicating and microchipping. I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to spend with all types of animals. Doing a job like this allows me to spend more time with my family. I care for every animal differently depending on their needs/ their owners needs. I also use a slip lead while using a regular leash just in case one fails.
“I want to thank Jordan for looking after my two dogs. She was so sweet and helpful. I loved that she was constantly updating about the dogs, and sending pictures and she took the time to play with them, fed them and took them for a walk. She was very patient with the dogs. Sanji and Robin are very playful since they’re about a year old. Honestly, after an unexpected long day at work it was great to know my dogs were im good hands. Thank you for asking about taking your shoes off inside the apartment it was very thoughtful and thank you for following all the instructions for the dogs”

About: I am someone who truly believes that pets are an important part of the family. I have cared for dogs and cats with different personalities, routines and needs over the years and have a background in health care. I am confident I can take excellent care of your pets and give them the fulfillment they need while you are away! I am available daily with no set schedule. I have made the difficult decision to leave the nursing profession after 20 years to do something that brings me joy. I will respect your home and the pet’s environment as if it were my own. I am comfortable being in any type of environment and will follow whatever schedule and routine you need me to in order to care for your baby the best way possible.
“Adam helped walk Koa our female rottie while we were on vacation for 12 days. He was dependable and very polite. He has a unique combination of leadership and a gentle spirit that made him a great fit for out girl. I highly recommend him.”

About: Hi, I'm Carissa, a lifelong animal lover and dedicated pet sitter who treats every pet like family. Whether you’re heading out of town or just need a helping hand, I provide reliable, compassionate care tailored to your pet’s unique needs and personality. From belly rubs and playtime to medication and walks, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. With years of hands-on experience and a deep respect for all animals, I’m committed to giving both pets and their people peace of mind. Let’s make sure your pet gets the care they deserve—even when you can’t be there. Right now, I don’t currently work, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. This allows me to be fully present for their needs throughout the day—whether that’s feeding, walking, playing, or just providing companionship. I really enjoy being around animals, and having the flexibility in my schedule means I can give them the attention and care they deserve. In my home, I have two friendly dogs who love the company of other pets, which helps create a social and welcoming environment. I also have a fully fenced backyard where pets can safely play and get exercise, along with plenty of space inside for rest and comfort. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make sure to follow their specific routines and instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, or playtime. I aim to keep pets as comfortable and stress-free as possible by maintaining their usual environment and routines. I also make sure their space stays clean, safe, and full of positive attention while their owners are away.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10! Growing up I owned multiple small and big dogs, helped breed golden retrievers, and I currently work as a kennel technician at The Puppy Store in Vineyard! I love taking care of dogs, I am experienced in medicine handling and administering, and grooming. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I am working part-time and go to school full-time, so I can work with you and we can make figure out our schedules! I’d be more than willing to drop by and take care of your dog, watch them, walk them, and love them! I’ll be flexible with you as long as you’re patient with me! I respect the dog’s boundaries and I try my best to gain their trust before I fully interact with them. If I go to your house I become fully aware of the space the dog has. I will never put your dog in a dangerous position. I am experienced in administering medication to your dog if necessary.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, dairy cattle, and pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!
“Elizabeth was great! She was so kind, friendly, caring, and great with my dog! She was great at communicating and always responded promptly! She took great care of my dog!”

About: I have worked with over 100 dogs during the course of my career so far. Most of my dog handling experience comes from working at a doggy daycare after I graduated high school. This experience gave me a lot of skills including handling multiple dogs at once, keeping track of meals and medication, and recognizing dog behavior in a variety of different breeds. This job gave me so many opportunities to bond with dogs of all sizes as if they were my own, give them exercise, and time to play with other dogs. Although, I learned to become good at handling a large group of dogs at once I prefer to work with smaller groups. It gives me more time to bond one on one with animals and allows me to better understand their individual needs (including lots of scratches and belly rubs). Working at a dog daycare has not been my only dog related experience. I have house and dog sat for multiple families a few summers in a row now. I enjoy providing an extra support system to dogs when their loved ones leave and giving them the love and attention they deserve. On top of these other experiences I have also grown up with dogs my entire life and in my late teens my Dad started fostering dogs for an agency. I really enjoyed taking care of these dogs and helping provide them with a good safe home until they were adopted. Every dog that has been a part of my life has provided so much joy and as I can't currently have a pet of my own I would love to be extended family to your dog. I'm currently a student at Western Washington University home for the summer. I don't have any other job as of now and will be able to provide full attention, walks, on-time feedings, etc. for your precious pet. I will be taking a few online credit hours for college over the summer, this does not take much time and I will be home to make sure all of your pets needs have been met. Whenever I house sit I usually fall into a routine that revolves around what the pet is used to, like their walk and feeding schedule. Although, I may have short outings and activities throughout the summer on the day I am booked for, my calendar should be up to date with the days that I am not available. I am very responsible when it comes to taking care of animals and organized. Safety is very important to me and I have had experiences working at the doggy daycare stopping dogs from eating unsafe things or safely separating dogs that were showing aggression towards each other. Although I don't expect any of these things to happen to your pet while they are in my care, it is better to be safe than sorry. I am also good with being on time to everything and this translates to making sure that pets are given their food on time (if they have a specific schedule). Your pet will be very safe and very loved during my time staying with them.
