I am an outgoing, compassionate, and adventurous animal caregiver who is passionate about providing pets with the same love, attention, and care I would give my own. Caring for animals has been a major part of my life from a young age, and I take pride in helping pet owners feel confident and comfortable knowing their animals are in caring, capable hands. I have been involved in a variety of 4-H animal projects since I was 11 years old. I am actively involved in helping with setup at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. Through 4-H, hands-on animal care, and years of personal and professional experience, I have developed the skills to confidently care for a wide variety of animals. My experience includes dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, aquatic animals, and farm animals of many different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am comfortable working with puppies and kittens, senior animals, high-energy pets, animals with special needs, and pets with behavioral or aggression concerns. I understand that every animal is different, and I believe their care should be tailored to their individual personality, routine, and needs. Whether that means going for walks and providing plenty of exercise and enrichment for an active dog or spending a quiet evening providing companionship to a senior pet, my goal is to make each animal feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. What You Can Expect Depending on the type of pet and services requested, care may include: * Providing food and fresh water according to your instructions * Administering medications as directed * Walking, exercising, playing with, and providing companionship to your pets * Cleaning litter boxes, cages, enclosures, or stalls during multi-day bookings * Bringing in mail and packages * Providing regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing * Promptly notifying you of any illness, injury, or unusual behavior I notice while your pet is in my care Additional services may also be available, including transportation to veterinary appointments, pet transportation, plant watering, and nail trims. Before providing care for a new pet, I believe it is important to meet with owners to learn about their animal’s routine, personality, medical needs, feeding instructions, behavior, and any other information necessary to provide the best possible experience. This also gives us the opportunity to discuss expectations and make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable before your first service. My goal is simple: to make being away from your pets as stress-free as possible for both you and them. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your pets are being cared for by someone who genuinely loves what they do.
