Seeking furry friends in a new city
In our previous home in Missouri my husband and I frequently pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors. We moved to Washington January of 2025 and have missed the furry friends we cared for there. I have experience with large and small dogs including some elderly and some very high energy. I’ve also looked after cats, individuals and larger groups including groups with various feeding needs.

Suzy was gracious enough to watch my dog Hank in her home for an extended stay. She gave me periodic updates and made sure that he got plenty of walks and treats. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for friendly, caring pet sitter.
I highly recommend Suzy as a pet sitter. She is kind, responsible, and attentive to details. When she helped with my cat, she even noticed a subtle change in her behavior (excessive lip licking), which I later learned was related to the food i was feeding her. She’s also very clean and respectful in the home, which gave me peace of mind while she was around. Most importantly, she’s a genuinely trustworthy and thoughtful person; I would feel comfortable leaving not only my pets, but also my home in her care.

Schedule
I work virtually and can be available most week days for daytime pet sitting in homes that have consistent internet access or drop ins a few times a day. On weekends my availability varies but I can typically plan for drop in and overnight care with at least 1 week notice. I am married and may request my spouse be allowed to stay with me or drop by in longer term sitting situations.

Whether it’s a walk or a week together I’ll try to treat your pet with the same care and attention you would. Allowing you to feel comfortable while you are away. As a pet sitter I try not to disrupt your furry family member’s typical schedule as much as possible. Pet care is very individual so I try to conform to what that pet is familiar with to minimize anxiety for them, while making sure their basic needs are met.
A typical day
I love taking pets for walks and playing active games to make sure your pets feels mentally and physically exercised at the end of a visit. I tailor the activity to your pets physical and needs and comfort level whenever possible.
