Pet care experience

Pet care is my passion!

Hi! My name is Nicole and I love dogs! I have years of experience with dogs of all ages, my last two dogs lived to be 14 and 16 respectively so I have a lot of experience in senior care. I have cared for many different breeds and have no preferences, however I have the most experience with German Shepards, Greyhounds and Shiba Inus. Currently, I have an Shiba Inu, so I can only care for other puppies or friendly, non aggressive, adult dogs at this time. Meet and greets with both dogs are a mandatory part of my booking process. I want to make sure that our dogs are comfortable and that I will be a good fit for your family! If you are like me, your dog is a family member. As a fellow dog owner I take that seriously. I expect only the best for my furbaby and in return will give the best care to you and yours. Your pooch will have tons of fun with me!

Nicole took amazing care of our sweet girl. She was responsive to our texts and kept us updated on how our pup was doing, pictures and all. She even took our Maui on an adventure for the day. It warmed our heart to see that our little gal was in such great care. Hoping that Nicole will consider watching our pup again in the future.

Nicole was great with Max, my dog. Lots of communication and photos while I was on vacation. I felt confident she was taking care of him and watching my house. I highly recommend Nicole.

Nicole is everything you would hope for in a dog sitter! Attentive, caring, responsible, communicative, and flexible. I always feel reassured when leaving my dog with her; my dog seems to really enjoy her stay, too. We will continue to rebook with Nicole in the future!

Schedule

I work from home and am available to be with your dog all day long. I like to be active and would love to take your dog with me on walks or hikes, with owner approval of course! If your dog likes to hang out I also frequent lots of dog friendly bars, parks and restaurants around town and would love to take a social dog with me on my days off for some weekend fun!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced yard and the ability to spend most of the day supervising pets in the home. I am able to work with both crate trained and non crate trained dogs alike. I only board one dog at a time so I am able to give your dog my full attention. Even though I am very active I understand and do not judge if your dog is not as outgoing as some others, I will do everything in my power to make sure your dog is comfortable, and I will make sure to communicate with you openly and honestly before, during and after your dogs stay with me. This goes for short term and long term clients, your dog will always be treated like part of the family.

A typical day

DOG BOARDING: I live in Everett, about 2 miles away from downtown and the many parks nearby, which have beautiful morning and evening views. I love to walk the dog twice a day and I am sure your pet would enjoy accompanying me. I also lead a pretty active lifestyle outside of work, and with owner permission, I would love to have your furry friend join me! I love to hike and right outside my backdoor we can find tons of on-leash nature walks I am sure your dog and I will enjoy. HOUSE SITTING: I work remotely so am able to be with your dog all day. I would be happy to watch your dog in their own home for some extra familiarity while you are away.

I appreciate 100% honesty about your dog. It does not matter to me if he may not be the best toy sharer or can be picky about eating around other dogs. NO JUDGMENTS HERE! If I know everything about your dog (including the more quirky traits) I am able to provide the best, customized care for their individual personalities. No two dogs are alike! I do have a dog in my home so I ask that all dogs boarded here be friendly with other animals. Leash, treat and food reactivity can be worked with on a case by case basis as I have the tools to separate them as needed for feeding and walking, but a general non-aggressive attitude toward other dogs in the home is a must for booking with me. Please list if your dog needs any medication. I have administered pills and pre-dosed oral medications but I would love to talk with you about any special needs so that we can both be comfortable with your dogs stay. Other than that all I would need to know is the basics. - What is their potty schedule? - What is their feeding schedule? - Has there ever been signs of resource guarding or food/leash aggression? - Do they get along with other dogs? -Are they being treated for fleas and ticks? -Are they fully vaccinated? - Are there any pre-existing medical conditions I need to be aware of? - how long can you comfortably leave them alone? (I only ask this question as life happens and sometimes errands need to be run, I want to make sure I am prioritizing your pups comfortability while staying with me) Most of all, I really want your dog to have the best experience in my care!
