I speak with each client about their pets needs (i.e. how often do they need to go to the bathroom, is this monitored) and work with the client to understand how best to care for their pet. I've worked with lots of different families and understand that each pet is different!

I prefer to work with pets that are leash trained and bathroom trained. I can work with older dogs, and walks can be longer or shorter depending on the need.
A typical day
I like to play catch, Frisbee, go on walks and play with toys (tug of war) around the house if house rules permit! I enjoy cuddling with dogs and cats and can give lots of hugs, or just be in the space together depending on the pet.

Mikayla took such great care of Nico and our home while we were on an international vacation. We had a ‘meet and greet’ with Mikayla and she was very friendly, communicative and clear about her needs and expectations. She asked lots of questions and left us feeling Nico, and our home, were in good hands, allowing us an stress-free vacation. She was very communicative while we were away, and sent plenty of photos and short videos to keep us updated. Mikayla is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Super communicative, it is obvious that Marlowe feels loved and cared for while I'm away (no adjustments to when I return so super appreciative of all Mikayla does) and the house is in perfect order.
Mikayla was very communicative throughout our time away and took great care of our pets. She left the house in great condition and did her dishes and laundry. My pets were well taken care of and I would recommend her to anyone.
Mikayla has been a great, return housesitter for us. Her communication is excellent, and she always takes great care of both our dog and our home.
