“Zhen took such good care of Remi! She was timely in both communication and her visits, connected well with Remi, and helped a kitty 1 week post spay in her recovery. Offering both play time and snuggles.”

“Genevieve was very communicative and friendly. The cats seemed to be comfortable around them — approaching them when they entered the house, responding to play time, eating all their food. Genevieve also brought in the mail, garbage bins, and they left the house tidy. I would use their services again.”

“Jocelyn was absolutely a blessing. My dogs just adored her. She was so easy to book with. She took the most adorable pictures of them. I was missing the dogs so much and she gave me so much peace of mind. I can not recommend her enough!”

About: I’m highly experienced in caring for a wide variety of dogs, including elderly bernese mountain dogs, anxious english bulldogs, territorial pomeranian puppies, cuddly golden retrievers, playful pitbull mixes, and more! I’m an expert at customizing my care around the personality of your canines. If a dog is anxious and shy, I’ll take them on a less busy route for our walk and watch their comfort level closely. If your pet is energetic and doesn’t get along well with others, I’ll avoid other animals when we’re out and give them lots of playtime! If your dog just needs cuddles on the couch and someone to administer their medicine, I’m more than happy to do that as well. I’ve taken care of multi-dog households many times, and it’s always a pleasure. I'm currently unemployed and have a wide-open schedule. I'm available for whatever you need, seven days a week. I can stay at your house for the day or overnight if you prefer. I'm also available for multiple drop-in visits throughout the day. I follow the rules of the home I'm visiting. Whether you prefer shoes on or shoes off, I'll respect your preference! I also stay in communication with pet owners. I'll keep you updated on your animal's well-being and be alert for signs of concerning behaviors or health problems. I always pay attention to each animal's specific communication style and respect their needs. I speak in a quiet and comforting tone of voice to keep pets calm and make them feel as safe as possible.
“Kearstin was so great! I was desperate to get in contact within someone on super short notice for some help and she was so easy to communicate with and instantly took the stress off of my plate today. So professional and caring!”

About: Dog lover! I work from home most days of the week. Looking to help my fellow dog parents by getting their furry loved ones out and about. And make a little extra on the side. I work from home most days so my schedule is really flexible. After our morning feed and play at home, I hit the gym, come home and I’m in the home office We have a fenced in front yard and a nice quiet neighborhood if your Pup ever needs to spend the night. My focus is helping your pets get more walks while you’re at work
“Yvonne is so great with my 7-month-old puppy. She is very attentive and supportive of her anxious personality. I feel totally at ease when I am away at the office knowing that she is there to drop in and check on my puppy.”

“Kevin has been so helpful. Our regular dog walker has had a medical issues he’s needed to deal with. Kevin was gracious enough to step in and help out during this time. My little puppy is very uneasy about new people and Kevin took all the time she needed for her to get to feel comfortable with him even coming over on an off day and hanging out with us for a while. It’s been super helpful and such a big stress, relief, knowing I can count on him.”

“Kaylah was great, and we’re excited to continue using her for on going services! Our doodles warmed up to her quickly and she did everything as was asked and we felt like we didn’t have to worry about them at all!”

“Jeff, you are amazing. You take a lot of stress off of my busy shoulders and allow me to know my pup is well taken care of when I'm not there to do it myself. Thank you for going above and beyond!”

About: I have been around dogs since I can remember. Growing up, my parents always had labs. I currently have a 12 year old boxer named Clover with my wife. I have been with Clover since she was 8 weeks old. From training her as a puppy to recently entering the senior years. I have cared for friends/family member dogs of all ages and breeds. I am excited to get to know more wonderful four-legged friends through this journey. I'm currently averaging 1 shift a month while work is slow. I'm available most days for walking, playing and potty breaks. My wife is a teacher and we don't have children, so I have plenty of time for 4 leg friends! I have a very calm 12 year old boxer that loves friends. I have space to crate if needed and a small yard plus a park within walking distance to play
“Ashlee was fantastic! Even though our cat Lucy was extremely shy and never came out while Ashlee was around, she left a bowl of catnip in a couple places--which Lucy enjoyed while Ashlee was out. In this way, she found a way to interact with Lucy even with Lucy hiding all the time. Thank you!”

About: I have been caring for pets my entire life. When I was young, I started a dog walking service with my friend, that lasted years. I started rover to earn extra income when I had my son, now 7. I would love the opportunity to make your pet a part time family member in our home and give you the reassurance your pet is happy and safe while you are away! I have a 12 year old, neutered male husky that would love a part time buddy, and a neutered male cat. If your little one doesnt like other pets, I can keep them separated, no problem! Your pup is only allowed on the furniture if YOU allow them to be! They are both great with cats and dogs. This gives me the opportunity to work on getting up and active through out the days I dont work. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! My child is in school for most of the day and I usually work a few days out of the week due to my online education needs, so I have the entire day to fit your care into my schedule. I allow animals to get comfortable on their own terms and am not pushy with them getting used to my presence. I enjoy playing and ensuring a clean, calm environment.
“Kat did an amazing job watching our kitty while we went on vacation! I highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who will take great care of your pet and give you peace of mind while you’re not home.”

Zhen is absolutely incredible! She is so kind and sweet and my cats absolutely adore her. One of my cats has anxiety and doesn't particularly like other people, especially if she doesn't know them, but Zhen is someone she feels happy and safe with since pretty much day 1, so that says a lot to us already!! I cannot recommend Zhen enough and I look forward to booking her again!

Andrea did an outstanding job with our babies! Fraser has a new Auntie and Elvira is still our anti social princess. Lol. Andrea interacted with them, loved on Fraser and tried her hardest with Elvira. Elvira is just a daddy's girl. We got photos, videos and text updates, even from Elviras hiding spot! I will always call Andrea first when we need a sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Everett. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
