About: I love dogs and cats! I own one of each, and have fostered about forty. I have learned great leash-training skills, and behavior management of fearful dogs to help them feel more comfortable. I am fit and enjoy exercise, so I am happy to take your dog on long walks or even hikes! I can also administer treats on a walk if a dog needs some leash-training. Most importantly, I will treat your pup with kindness and affection. I am a teacher, so I have a lot of availability during the summer and holidays. For care in my home, I only live about five minutes from work, making it easy for me to check on animals during the day. For care in your home, I bring my own dog with me overnight. She is good with other animals. I am currently home full time for the summer. I spend a lot of time outside and love to take dogs for walks. I am also happy to chill inside and relax and give scritches. In my home, I have a secure fenced yard outside and a large crate available inside. At others’ homes I am respectful of my surroundings and treat all animals and property with great care.

For drop-ins, I follow feeding schedules closely, refresh water, provide potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment, and give plenty of affection so pets don’t feel stressed or lonely. I also monitor their behavior and overall well-being during each visit. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and always provide updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away.

About: Taking care of pets runs in my family big time. My grandparents would always have at least 3 cats at a time, plus would volunteer to take care of homeless cats and dogs. My childhood was full of rescue experiences thanks to the kindness of my parents' hearts. I am deeply committed to our furry family members and know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet when you're going on vacation. Luckily, I have lots of experience taking care of pets from birth to their very last days and everything in between (medication administration, special care, baths and much more). My goal is to be pet-centered and give them exactly what they need - whether it's more space and peace, or snuggles and playtime. I'm currently working remotely from home, so I'll be able to pay a lot of attention to your dear pet.
