I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for both small and large dogs. Before moving to Escondido, I regularly watched and walked dogs in my apartment complex, which gave me experience managing different temperaments in shared living environments. I’ve rescued and cared for several dogs, which has given me a strong ability to recognize and respond to the needs of anxious or stressed pups. I currently work in the pet service industry, so animal care and safety are always top of mind, and I have access to trusted pet care professionals whenever needed. Your dog will be cared for with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.

This was our first time using Rover and hiring a sitter. Courtney was super helpful and made us and Sol comfortable leaving her under her watch. She gave us frequent updates with photos. Her home was clean and had plenty of space. If you’re a local or coming into town I would highly recommend her!

Courtney is one of the kindest, most animal loving people I have ever met. She’s had dogs her entire life and not only considers them family, but more importantly treats them like family. She will watch after your pets as if they’re her own and will ensure they are safe, happy, loved, and get extra scratches and belly rubs. She’s well equipped to take care of all dogs, handle special accommodations, and will send constant updates so you know your fur baby’s are in good hands. Highly highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so your pup will always have company, attention, and plenty of belly rubs throughout the day. Dogs are included in my daily routine with regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest periods that match their energy level and needs. I’m happy to follow your dog’s established feeding, walking, and medication schedule to keep things consistent and stress-free. If there are ever any schedule changes, they will always be communicated well in advance.

I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and two friendly, well-socialized dogs who love having new friends around. I always supervise interactions to ensure everyone feels comfortable. If your dog is anxious, shy, or prefers their own space, I can easily block off portions of my home to provide a quiet, secure area just for them. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where every dog feels at ease and cared for.
