“Gracie loves to play with Nadine’s dogs. She had a great time! Thank you, Nadine, for taking care of my pup. I have no anxiety while she’s with you. I know she’ll have fun.”

“Yukon is an amazing host! We couldn't have asked for anything more. She took great care of our Lady bug. Gave us timely updates with pictures after walks, meals, and poo breaks. Lady also enjoyed hanging out with her fellow schnauzers. I highly recommend their services and plan to be repeat clients!”

“I would absolutely recommend Sabrina to anyone in need of a sitter! She is the most kindest and caring person I have ever met💕 I completely trust Sabrina and her family with Tucker 1000% Tucker loves her and her family as much as his own and is always excited when he comes over. Being new to the Bay Area Sabrina has always looked out for Tucker and I, and I can’t ever thank her enough 💕”

“I highly recommend Asatur for your pet stay whether it is just day care or for boarding. His love for dogs is obvious in how the dogs respond to him. My Labradoodle, Bailey is a Velcro dog and finding care outside of our home has been a challenge. Bailey has warmed up to Asatur after one day stay and has just completed her first overnight stay. I’m now feeling very secure that she will do quite well when we are gone for extended lengths of time. This has opened the possibility of long stalled travel plans again since my retirement. Thanks Asatur!”

“Allora and her family are awesome!! You can tell they genuinely love dogs. Nori seemed so happy and comfortable with them. Allora only cares for 1-2 dogs at a time. She makes sure they get one on one attention and they are closely supervised at all times. We are lucky to have found Allora.”

“Tiffany’s family is absolutely delightful. My little pup had a blast playing fetch with them and felt completely welcome and comfortable very quickly. Tiffany is a very caring sitter and genuinely wants to help you and your dog out. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Milad was incredibly communicative and incredibly understanding with our boy! Rottweilers are big dogs that are vocal and peculiar and Milad took the time to build trust with him! When we left, our boy fell right asleep! The yard was great, and he really listened to our communication! Highly recommend!”

About: About Me I'm a devoted dog lover who specializes in caring for reactive and anxious dogs - the ones that are often misunderstood. Working from home gives me the flexibility to provide the consistent, patient care these special dogs need. My own journey started with my 6.5-year-old lab-pit mix who taught me everything about reactivity, high prey drive, and anxiety. Though she doesn't live with me full-time (which I miss terribly!), she's shown me incredible progress over the years - she's much calmer now, can get along with other dogs with proper introductions, and mostly just wants to nap and be loved. My partner's 6-year-old standard poodle is a certified service dog who's wonderful with dogs of all temperaments and serves as a calming presence. Why I Do This Having lived with a reactive dog, I know the frustration of finding someone who truly understands your dog's needs without judgment. I want to be that person for other dog families - someone who sees past the "difficult" label to the loving dog underneath. My Approach: • I always carry high-value treats during walks to redirect and reward good behavior • I'm experienced with reactivity management and reading dog's body language • I believe in structured socialization: supervised co-existence rather than forced play, with short play sessions (15-30 minutes) followed by decompression time • I avoid dog parks to prevent overwhelming situations and maintain control • I'm comfortable with senior care and daily medication routines My Setup I prefer starting with walks to learn your dog's personality, triggers, and preferences. I take one dog at a time for boarding to ensure your pet gets my complete attention and isn't overwhelmed. My partner's gentle service dog provides a calming role model when appropriate. I plan my schedule weeks in advance, so early booking is appreciated for the best care. Working from home gives me the flexibility to be present throughout the day, which is perfect for providing consistent care and attention. I love having pets around while I work - they actually make my day more enjoyable! I do play sports some evenings, but I always plan my schedule around any pets I'm caring for. If I'm boarding a dog or have a pet sitting commitment, I make sure my evening activities don't interfere, or I'll arrange my sports schedule well in advance so there's no conflict. Your pet's routine and needs always come first. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. My backyard is completely fenced, so dogs can play safely while I keep a close eye on them - I'm always right there with them, not just watching from a window. I love that my neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, and we're lucky to be just a short walk from the beautiful Bay Trail, which is perfect for dogs who love longer walks or new scenery. Your pet's safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I make sure they're never left unsupervised.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 13 years, including my own special needs dog, Jimmy. We adopted him from the Humane Society, and since then, he’s been part of our family. Jimmy has required extra care due to medical and mobility issues, and through him, I’ve learned how to be patient, gentle, and attentive to every pet’s unique needs. I have hands-on experience with: Special needs and senior dogs Administering medications Building trust with shy or anxious pets Providing a calm and loving home environment Your pet will be treated like my own — with love, respect, and plenty of cuddles. Whether you're away for a day or a week, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for like family. I'm home and available most of the day, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feedings, or just quiet companionship, I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine. Since I already care for my own dog and have experience with cats, pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I enjoy being active and love spending time with animals — they truly bring joy to my day! I care for pets in my own home or through drop-in visits — I do not stay overnight in clients’ homes. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, quiet, and loving environment with plenty of attention, walks, and playtime. I keep their routine as close to normal as possible, including feeding times and medications. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets everything they need while you're away — food, fresh water, outdoor breaks, and lots of love. I’m respectful of your space and always follow your care instructions closely.

“Shashi and her family took great care of our boy Bruno! They’re very communicative and flexible, and their friendly husky made a great companion for Bruno. Thanks!”

“Deborah was great with our puppy (who came home very tired!) and flexible when things changed. Would definitely be happy to work with her again.”

“Sophie was amazing. Our puppy had a great time. He loved running around her large yard and playing with the other dogs. He came back happy and tired. Would definitely use her again.”

About: I have two wonderful dogs in my family Andy and Louis. They are everything to me. They are ready to welcome and make some new friends and would love to share their space with other fur babies. I am working part time from home taking care of my toddler and a fur baby named Andy. I am home all day and love taking my boy and Andy on a short walk around the neighborhood. We have quiet and friendly neighbors which is a plus. We have a fenced back yard ~800sq ft with some turfed space for the dogs to play. Like I mentioned I have another playful dog who will give a good company for your dogs as well.

About: I live in El Sobrante (East Bay) and only do IN HOME CARE for dogs and sometimes cats. I've found there is less stress if they stay in their own familiar surroundings with your smells; especially if they are blind or deaf or have elderly med needs.. I also give medications and understand senior dog needs. My small Chihuahua SOPHIE comes with me and gets along with everyone. I am semi-retired and will attend to all your instructions, sleep with your baby if that is what is required. I specialize in small dogs but will consider anything, especially if you are in a bind and need someone ASAP. Call me and let's discuss your needs! Thank you. I'm semi-retired and usually available. I am happy to take your dog to dog parks. Sophie and I go on long walks everyday, sometimes twice. We are active. We will follow your schedule. I've great references for in-home care which is all I do now. I also keep the house clean and will do laundry or other needs while I am there. Long or short stays, just let me know what you need. I've background checks that are stellar, never any incident. I am a professional.

If Eleonora doesn't know something, she is not afraid to ask. Lisa & Joseph D.
“Lisa and her family are wonderful pet sitters. We've been sending our Vizsla, Zeek, to them since he was less than a year old (now he's 8). He always enjoys his time there and often is underwhelmed by the idea of coming home with me after I've been away for a week or more and would rather continue hanging out with Lisa and co. It's great to have the peace of mind that your pet is getting superior attention and care than even what you would give them (and I spoil Zeek rotten, so that's saying something). I highly recommend Lisa and you can rest assured that your pet is in great and attentive hands and will not be lacking for love, exercise, or stimulation in your absence.”

Astrid M.
“Astrid has been an incredible pet sitter for our dog, Flash. dedication for animals truly shine through in her care. She always ensures that Flash is comfortable, well-fed, and gets plenty of exercise and playtime. Astrid's home is also a safe and welcoming environment, and her own dog is a great companion for Flash. We always feel at ease knowing that Flash is in such caring hands. We highly recommend Astrid for anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!”

El Sobrante dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amazing! Tons of walks, super playful, lets her chill in their laps, and is stellar all around. Will keep booking with them!

Asatur was outstanding. Grace warmed up to him right away as if she'd known him for years. And he kindly send me photos and provided TLC. Very trustworthy as well. His yard is very well kept for doggies to play, is a large size and all fenced.

Gracie loves to play with Nadine’s dogs. She had a great time! Thank you, Nadine, for taking care of my pup. I have no anxiety while she’s with you. I know she’ll have fun.

Julie and Adam did a fantastic job of understanding the very specific needs of my two unusual dogs. They have been so patient in developing trust with my 5 year old dog Maisie who is highly reactive and distrustful of people. Maisie is so insecure/fearful/reactive of humans that I thought boarding her would be a disaster so never tried it. Until my good friend told me about Julie and Adam who are good friends of hers. Maisie has done two days of daycare with Julie and Adam, and when Maisie arrived for the second time, she RAN into their house. Normally she would cower and refuse to go into a new situation but she recognized that these two people are good humans who take good care of her. She even chose to rest on their bed during the day!! That shows how much she trusts them. They are the best people, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are clearly experienced with difficult dogs and willing to be flexible to accommodate changes in my schedule. As well as thoughtful and creative in finding ways to help my dogs have their best experience.

We took our dog Max to Eric for the second time. Max was so excited to see Eric and his puppy Bubba that he ran right past us into the house. That’s a good review right there. Eric is easy to work with and we have a happy dog, even when we are away.

Francie had such a wonderful time at Sophie’s today! She has an incredible yard for the dogs to run around in and sent lots of pictures throughout the day to reassure me that Francie was doing well and having fun with the other dogs. Would definitely book again!

Delightful space with positive energy! My social butterfly pup enjoyed her time with the passel here.

Milad was incredibly communicative and incredibly understanding with our boy! Rottweilers are big dogs that are vocal and peculiar and Milad took the time to build trust with him! When we left, our boy fell right asleep! The yard was great, and he really listened to our communication! Highly recommend!

Great communication and appreciated the walks my pup got (even on a day with a bit of rain). Thanks Ivonne!!!

Michael was a great pet sitter for Blue! He was attentive to her needs and communicated with me very well during her stay. Blue is an active dog even at her older age, and he made sure to walk her and give her plenty of outdoor time. I will definitely book again in the future!
