About: Raised on a farm in rural Texas, I grew up surrounded by dogs and animals of all types. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog I watch with the same care and attention I give my own! I would be honored to look after your dog and provide them with a safe, fun, and nurturing environment while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! My full-time job allows me the flexibility to check on your pup within your desired timeframe. I am happy to accommodate your pet’s unique schedule! About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals in my life, including cats and dogs. Because of my experience, I’m familiar with the many different scenarios that can come up during pet care. I’m currently unemployed and providing full time services. This means I can work around you or your pets schedule and house/pet sit for hours or days at a time if needed. Frequent potty breaks and walks are also no problem for me. I’m very attentive to animal needs and can recognize different types of body language very quickly. These includes signs of aggression, anxiety, hunger, needing to go out, etc. and I can respond appropriately and in a timely manner.

“Sara is by far the best pet walker out there! She is responsible, kind, and extremely trustworthy. She is also an expert on walking dogs - truly! I have two big dogs (one is 135lbs and the other is 70lbs) who are a bit leash reactive after deer/cats. I typically never walk them together because they are so strong. Sara brought over her harnesses and was able to get them to walk by her side and have them ignore distractions - AMAZING! She sent me lots of videos, pictures, and updates. About: I’ve taken care of almost all kinds of animals since I was very young and I adore all pets and understand the necessity of pet sitters. I have done foster care for puppies, kittens, and special care senior animals alike. I’m a quick learner and dedicated to the absolute best for your pet. I’m also new to this app and am happy to negotiate on prices! My schedule can revolve entirely around your pet! I’m currently on summer break from my online college degree and am able to work flexibly depending on your needs. My only obligations are to take care of my own animals in the morning, evening, and midday. Which often is a quick routine and can be taken over by a loved one if necessary! I have an unfenced yard and hiking trail for walking dogs directly behind my apartment, I’m also close to a large field for stimulation if they need more activity and love going on hikes as well. I have 2 very friendly spayed female dogs and a spayed female cat, all of which love other animals. I have a crates for either my own animals or yours in a safe space. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed in my apartment.

About: I have experience taking care of several types of dogs, cats and even a bird in the last 5 years. Every week, my work does a “Buddy Day” with the humane society where we have an adoptable dog come hangout with us for the day and then I bring them back at the end of the day. This has exposed me to so many different types and personalities of dogs! I’m also comfortable giving medication and taking care of pets that may be under the weather. I’m currently working full time during Tuesday-Saturday (7:30am-3pm) but am able to leave for lunch to check on or let your pet outside to potty or walk. I work and live in downtown Durango. I’m available daily in the evenings. The safety and well-being of your pet is my #1 priority. Making sure gates and locks are secure, proper leashes/harnesses are being used, following all the care instructions exactly and sending regular updates (if you’d like) to keep communication open are a few things I’ve found keep your pet safe and happy. In general, I just want to create an environment that your pet will thrive in.

About: I have always had at least 1 dog in my home and cared for many of my neighbor’s/friend’s/family member’s pets. In the course of that care I have administered medication, raised puppies, taken care of up to 5 dogs at one time, cared for elderly pets, helped pets with disabilities, and overall taken care of all the extra work that comes with being a pet caregiver. I have yet to meet a pet that I didn’t love. I have been my children’s stay-at-home parent for the last 9 years, so I have a great deal of experience as a caretaker in general and I have raised them to always be kind and respectful to all animals. I am available for walks or drop-ins: Sunday-Wednesday before 2pm, Thursday & Friday all day, and Saturday after 3pm. I can also swing by after work at about 11:30p if needed and close to town. I have a fenced yard with 2 friendly dogs and 2 kids(8&9 years old who will not come in contact without your expressed permission and would never be left alone with them), I will care for your pets and house as attentively and lovingly as I care for my own home and pets. I am a home owner with two kids in a local school, so I am deeply rooted in Durango. I care deeply for pets and prefer their company over the company of most people. I am working on getting certified in pet first aid, but I currently have an app that can be used as a quick guide with videos in an emergency that was put out by the Red Cross.

About: I grew up with a household full of dogs, and have taken several animal care-taking positions in the past ten years. I have been walking dogs with another dog-walking app, and have also looked after pets in the neighborhood and for friends and family. I love to walk and be outside, and I am willing to jog with extra energetic pups! Small and medium-sized dogs are my favorite, but I am willing to take care of dogs of all sizes as well as other species. I am usually available to hang with your pup most of the day, and will take them on adventures when appropriate. Right now I work from home so I am very flexible! I usually leave to go running and do errands, but I am usually never gone for more than a few hours. I will follow your pet's usual routine to the best of my ability, and will also do my best to take care of your home.

About: I've been an animal lover all my life. I started watching rabbits, cats, dogs, and turtles when I was just a kid. I now have a 2 year old Heeler-Great Prynees mix that I've raised and trained from 12 weeks old! Indy is the light of my life and best friend to all. He is extremely friendly and playful with great communication and boundaries. I also was foster parent at the local shelter for eleven different dogs ranging from 4 weeks to 12 years old. I took care of these dogs for an extended period of time until they could find loving forever homes. I have plenty of experience caring for, feeding, walking, cuddling, managing reactive dogs, and training. As a self employed individual, I'm available to work within your schedule and would love to take your pups on long hikes or simple give them some belly rubs on the couch. I also offer additional dog training for $75/hr whether it's just for an hour or during a sit. I am self employed and extremely flexible! I can walk dogs at any point during the day and am available for home visits at anytime. For boarding, I'll be with your dogs almost the entire day. I don't have a fenced yard but I do have excellent trails right across the street from my house and a kennel in my house for dogs that need to be confined when left home alone. I live in a very safe neighborhood .
