About: I’ve had pets my whole life, so becoming a dog and cat sitter was a given. From senior snoozers to zoomy puppies, from ‘don’t touch me’ cats to ‘please love me immediately’ cats, I’ve handled it all and loved every second. I’m currently in school at Fort Lewis. I have a few classes scattered throughout the day. My busiest day right now will be Tuesdays with back to back classes from 8-2:30. If watching pets in your home, I will ask for a list of expectations (feed times, concerns) so I can do the best job. I will be diligent about updating you, sending photos, and asking questions if they arise.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I have always loved animals and my freinds, neighbors, and family always ask me to care for their furry loved ones! I’m currently working only a couple shifts a month at my other job, so I can be reliable and flexible with many different schedules to fit your needs! In my clients home I will be sure the pets have the food/water their owners desire, and I would love to play and run the energy out of your pets during the day while your at work!

About: I owned a pitbull growing up until I was 18 years old. I absolutely love dogs but simply can’t have one in my housing situation. Caring for your dog would be an absolute pleasure! I’m available to help with pets as many times a day as needed during all hours of the day. I will care for your pets like I care for my own. My pets are my whole life. I feed my elder cat a special diet and administer medications daily. In my own home I use specialty feeders that connect to each of their collars. When dog sitting I make sure they’re taken out as many times as needed to get exercise and go to the restroom!

About: I grew up with two cats, two dogs, a lizard, and a bunny. I love animals and understand they need care just like we humans do. I have spent time fostering puppies and would love to foster kittens on day. I have a big heart and am interested meeting animals, and making sure people know their animals are in good hands. I just finished a trail work season and have a lot of time on my hands. I would love to help people out and watch their animals! I will be substitute teaching this school year with availability to walk dogs during the day and after school! My landlord does not allow pets in the home. I would love to care for your pets in your home, whether that’s stopping in several times a day or staying over night for however long! I am very clean, respectful, and trustworthy. I grew up pet sitting in Chicago and would also water people’s gardens, grocery shop for them before they got back from vacation, and tidy up their home upon request!

About: I have a big heart for all animals. I’m kind and patient and enjoy playing with dogs and cats and even sitting on the couch snugging up to them. I’ve had a cat that was diabetic, had small dogs and cats that I’ve kept till they past away and now have 6 Frenchies and 2 bigger dogs and cats and a lot more animals I’ve taken care of at my moms house and have a kitten and puppy of my own now. I work for the city of Durango and I have Fridays and weekends off and I would love to spend that time walking dogs and would help me get out of the house. P.s if you schedule for a dog walk Monday through Thursday it will have to be AFTER 5pm, thank you! I am always watching and listening to make sure there not in anything and I have a little camera in my kitchen so I can watch the animals and make sure there okay while I’m at work or running errands.

About: I can help with senior pets that have trouble walking and seeing as well as feeding puppies and kittens. I enjoy taking care of any animals. Pet care can be a full time care plan for me. I am free to take care of your pets all week and over night. I have a medium sized fenced yard as well as a dog pen. There are 3 kids in the household as well as 2 family puppies and 1 adult dog.

About: I have a senior pup back home, we rescued her years ago and now she’s living her best life all spoiled with seasonal bananas. I have another 4 year german shepherd who’s high functioning and interactive, I love taking him to the dog park and out for pup-cups. I have lots of free time between classes to check on/walk your puppies! If your pups need more supervision I’d be happy to stay at the house between classes to keep your pets company. Your pet would always be in my sight when we’re outside, and I’d follow your instructions for them inside. I clean up after myself and I pack my own snacks.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for nearly 30 years — from growing up with our family’s Border Collies and house cats, to raising my own Jack Russells throughout adulthood, to caring for two rescue kittens in college. Between that and my own lifelong pet experience, I’ve worked with animals at every life stage and energy level. I’m single with plenty of free time, which means your pets get steady attention, affection, and a calm, reliable presence while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because of the flexibility I have in my career. I’m a real estate agent with a team beneath me, which means I create my own schedule and have other agents I can rely on if I’m ever occupied. That gives me plenty of space in my days for walks, check-ins, playtime, and consistent attention. I’ve actually considered getting another dog over the last couple of years, but I haven’t felt ready for the full-time commitment again. A friend suggested I join Rover as a way to support other pet owners in the community while still getting to pour my love, energy, and care into animals — and it’s the perfect fit. Your pets get someone who’s genuinely excited to spend time with them and has the availability to be fully present. I’m very affectionate and hands-on with the pets I care for — they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I genuinely love walking, so having a dog join me on my daily walks is the best part of my routine. About: I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes, sizes and demeanor for many years. I started professionally working with dogs in January of 2021. I currently work as an animal care technician and a medical assistant at LaPlata County Humane Society. I am very comfortable administering meds, walking/ hiking, entertaining, and socializing pups! I have a soft spot in my heart for felines as well! My first best friend ever was a cat and I have rehabilitated many strays and litters since! I’m certified in pet CPR and take care instructions seriously, with a strong focus on safety and consistency. My dog is 17 years young, so I especially enjoy working with pets who are older, shy, anxious, or used to a quiet home. I believe routines help pets feel secure, so I follow schedules closely, keep walks consistent, and watch for any behavioral changes. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. I’m available seven days a week and organize my schedule around pets’ routines. I’m present for morning care, afternoon walks or check-ins, evening care, and overnight stays when booked. I do have two predictable personal commitments each day (late morning and early evening), and I plan pet care around those times so routines remain consistent. Walk times can be adjusted as needed, especially during hotter parts of the day. I treat clients’ homes with respect and care. I keep doors and gates secure, double-check leashes during walks, and never take risks with unfamiliar dogs.
