About: Raised on a farm in rural Texas, I grew up surrounded by dogs and animals of all types. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog I watch with the same care and attention I give my own! I would be honored to look after your dog and provide them with a safe, fun, and nurturing environment while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! My full-time job allows me the flexibility to check on your pup within your desired timeframe. I am happy to accommodate your pet’s unique schedule! About: Hello! I’m Katherine and I love dogs! Speaking from experience I know how tough and stressful it is trusting in someone to care for your pet(s). Im comfortable handling a wide ranch of dogs and their needs. I have worked in numerous doggie day cares, sled dog kennels, plus years and years pet sitting. My schedule is pretty flexible right now, so I have lots of time to provide dog care! I can be available for walks, drop ins, or extended stays. Unfortunately I am unable to host any pets at my home. I will be sure your pet is seen and cared for at all times. I’m someone who is reliable, attentive, and respectful towards your pet and home.

About: I have a senior pup back home, we rescued her years ago and now she’s living her best life all spoiled with seasonal bananas. I have another 4 year german shepherd who’s high functioning and interactive, I love taking him to the dog park and out for pup-cups. I have lots of free time between classes to check on/walk your puppies! If your pups need more supervision I’d be happy to stay at the house between classes to keep your pets company. Your pet would always be in my sight when we’re outside, and I’d follow your instructions for them inside. I clean up after myself and I pack my own snacks.

About: I went to school originally for animal science and veterinary technology. I worked in veterinary ERs, general practice, shelters for 6 years out of school. While I have hung up my hat as a vet tech officially in 2009 after I found a passion for a career in nonprofit and outdoor education, I still maintained several dog/cat sitting clients in Telluride where I lived over the course of fifteen years on the side of my full time program director position for a busy summer camp. Now in my 40s I work from home or remotely, for the last six years, as a nonprofit consultant. I have one lab named Zappa who keeps me on my toes the way only labs know how. (I can always bring him with me to your home or let him stay at home.) My lifestyle is active and I stay flexible so I can work remotely for travel opportunities (or to stay with your fur babies in your home!). I love running, hiking, surfing, rafting and riding bikes. Senior pets, meds and special instructions are no problem for me with my certified vet tech background. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones! I split my time between Mancos/Durango/Telluride so can stay wherever you are or your pet can stay with me, or I can do drop ins. Sometimes I have to drive up to Telluride for client meetings but would know ahead of time and plan your pet sitting around that or just not schedule anything during that time. My house is very clean, uncluttered and comfortable. I have an unfenced yard on 4 acres but would follow your lead on this one. My dog uses a halo collar for his fence boundary at my house. I’ve cared for dogs who need leash walks only too.

About: I have a big heart for all animals. I’m kind and patient and enjoy playing with dogs and cats and even sitting on the couch snugging up to them. I’ve had a cat that was diabetic, had small dogs and cats that I’ve kept till they past away and now have 6 Frenchies and 2 bigger dogs and cats and a lot more animals I’ve taken care of at my moms house and have a kitten and puppy of my own now. I work for the city of Durango and I have Fridays and weekends off and I would love to spend that time walking dogs and would help me get out of the house. P.s if you schedule for a dog walk Monday through Thursday it will have to be AFTER 5pm, thank you! I am always watching and listening to make sure there not in anything and I have a little camera in my kitchen so I can watch the animals and make sure there okay while I’m at work or running errands.

About: I have an energetic 2-year-old pup who loves to play so she will keep your dog entertained for sure! I take Macha out for walks or hikes at least twice a day, and she loves running around and socializing at the dog park too! We are very friendly and active, and we'll make sure your dog gets out to play and sniff around as much as possible. I work part-time so have extra time to hang with puppies whenever I'm not busy traveling. My schedule varies but is flexible so I can be available on an as-needed basis. I have a fenced in yard and live two blocks from the river and bike path, so there's plenty of space for us to explore! We live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, and meet up with other dog owners frequently.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs that are small to extra large breeds. With my experience I’ve dealt with puppies in potty training and senior dogs who require medicine. I’m always willing to go on walks or just let them out the backyard. I’ve dealt with dogs to snakes and lizards. I’m always up for more than one animal! I’ve dealt with fire drills in pet sitting getting the dogs out safely and calmly with ease. Currently while in college I have no pets to take care of. My mom has boarded dogs for years, so I have learned to feed, walk and take care of pets. I worked at a doggie/cat daycare and boarding place for a year and a half as a supervisor, and I learned a lot with that experience. I love hiking and going for walks, and I love hanging out with furry friends! I am currently in school, and do not have a job. I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets and I am able to stop by often. I will make sure the dog is fed, and gets outside when needed. If the dog needs to be in a crate, I will put them in a crate. If the dog needs a harness for walking I will absolutely use it.
