About: I’ve had pets my whole life, so becoming a dog and cat sitter was a given. From senior snoozers to zoomy puppies, from ‘don’t touch me’ cats to ‘please love me immediately’ cats, I’ve handled it all and loved every second. I have grown up with a cat and 4 dogs and I am familiar with the young stages and the senior years of a pets life. I’m currently in school at Fort Lewis. I have a few classes scattered throughout the day. My busiest day right now will be Tuesdays with back to back classes from 8-2:30. If watching pets in your home, I will ask for a list of expectations (feed times, concerns) so I can do the best job. I will be diligent about updating you, sending photos, and asking questions if they arise.

About: Hi! My name is Jake. I grew up in a house full of pets and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I work full time at Fort Lewis, so I am completely available after 4 pm Monday through Friday with an hour during the day for walk breaks. During the weekend I can be fully available. I am available for any type of house sitting! Whether it be a quick midday walk or week-long stay, I am there to keep your pets comfortable in their home environment, on their schedule.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I have always loved animals and my freinds, neighbors, and family always ask me to care for their furry loved ones! About: I went to school originally for animal science and veterinary technology. I worked in veterinary ERs, general practice, shelters for 6 years out of school. While I have hung up my hat as a vet tech officially in 2009 after I found a passion for a career in nonprofit and outdoor education, I still maintained several dog/cat sitting clients in Telluride where I lived over the course of fifteen years on the side of my full time program director position for a busy summer camp. Now in my 40s I work from home or remotely, for the last six years, as a nonprofit consultant. I have one lab named Zappa who keeps me on my toes the way only labs know how. (I can always bring him with me to your home or let him stay at home.) My lifestyle is active and I stay flexible so I can work remotely for travel opportunities (or to stay with your fur babies in your home!). I love running, hiking, surfing, rafting and riding bikes. Senior pets, meds and special instructions are no problem for me with my certified vet tech background. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones! I split my time between Mancos/Durango/Telluride so can stay wherever you are or your pet can stay with me, or I can do drop ins. Sometimes I have to drive up to Telluride for client meetings but would know ahead of time and plan your pet sitting around that or just not schedule anything during that time. My house is very clean, uncluttered and comfortable. I have an unfenced yard on 4 acres but would follow your lead on this one. My dog uses a halo collar for his fence boundary at my house. I’ve cared for dogs who need leash walks only too.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have two of my own—a 5-year-old black lab and a 4-year-old German shepherd—so I’m very used to daily care like feeding, walks, and playtime. While I don’t have formal sitting experience, I’m comfortable with different dog personalities and routines. I love being outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of walks and attention. I also work shorter hours, which gives me a flexible schedule and more time to focus on your pet. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every dog like my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I already care for my own two dogs every day. I work shorter hours (about 32 hours a week), so I have a good amount of flexibility. I’m available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and can plan my day around walks, visits, and spending quality time with your pet. I care for pets by sticking as close as possible to their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free. That includes feeding on schedule, regular walks, playtime, and making sure they get plenty of attention. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow any specific instructions they leave, whether that’s routines, medications, or preferences. I also make sure pets get lots of love and updates while you’re away. At home, I provide a safe, calm environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, and time outside. Since I already have two dogs, I’m used to managing multiple pets and making sure everyone is comfortable and getting along.
