Mallory and Jonathan are the absolute best— in every possible way. My dog is wary of new people but they had her totally comfortable and loving them within the first two minutes!! In addition to their clearly loving and being fantastic with animals, they are also totally reliable, go the extra mile, are mature and responsible, and are just lovely people. I can’t say enough good things about both of them!

About: I’ve been a pet owner for nearly 30 years — from growing up with our family’s Border Collies and house cats, to raising my own Jack Russells throughout adulthood, to caring for two rescue kittens in college. I’m equally comfortable with dogs and cats of all personalities and needs. What sets me apart is the range of care I’ve provided. I’ve raised a Jack Russell puppy from the wild, zoomie-filled stage into a well-behaved, confident adult, so I’m patient, consistent, and great with puppies who need structure and gentle training. I’ve also cared for a 17-year-old senior dog during his end-of-life stage, which taught me how to support pets who need slower routines, medication, and close, intuitive attention. I fostered an entire litter of puppies and their mom from an overcrowded shelter, so I’m familiar with round-the-clock care, monitoring, and meeting shy or sensitive animals where they are. Between that and my own lifelong pet experience, I’ve worked with animals at every life stage and energy level. I’m single with plenty of free time, which means your pets get steady attention, affection, and a calm, reliable presence while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because of the flexibility I have in my career. I’m a real estate agent with a team beneath me, which means I create my own schedule and have other agents I can rely on if I’m ever occupied. That gives me plenty of space in my days for walks, check-ins, playtime, and consistent attention. I’ve actually considered getting another dog over the last couple of years, but I haven’t felt ready for the full-time commitment again. A friend suggested I join Rover as a way to support other pet owners in the community while still getting to pour my love, energy, and care into animals — and it’s the perfect fit. Your pets get someone who’s genuinely excited to spend time with them and has the availability to be fully present. I’m very affectionate and hands-on with the pets I care for — they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I genuinely love walking, so having a dog join me on my daily walks is the best part of my routine. Whether it’s a neighborhood stroll, a peaceful loop along the River Trail, or a fun outing to the Smelter dog park, I make sure pets get the activity and stimulation they need. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely so everything feels familiar and comforting. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, behavior changes, and whatever little rituals make each pet feel at ease. My goal is always to create a safe, loving, and engaging experience — whether they’re with me for a few hours or a few days.

About: Hello fellow dog lovers! With over 20 years of experience owning and caring for dogs, I understand the deep bond between humans and their furry companions. Although I cannot host pets in my rental, I’d love to take your dog for a walk or house sit where they feel most comfortable- your home! I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide care both during and outside of regular business hours. Whether it’s a midday walk, evening playtime or weekend adventure, I’m here to ensure your dog receives the attention, love and exercise they deserve. If you book me for pet sitting in your home, you can feel at ease knowing that I will respect your space and make it a goal of mine to leave your space as clean as you left it. Let’s connect and discuss how I can offer your dog the right care and attention to make you feel comfortable when you can’t be with them. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule! I can provide pet services within or outside of regular business hours- let’s discuss your pets needs and I can likely fit them in to my schedule, no problem! I love clients who offer detailed lists of their pets needs and daily routines! I used to do the same with my dog and know that following something like this gives everyone involved (dogs included!) ease of mind.

About: I am a working professional that will be doing this for some fun and extra income. This will be my first time doing pet care for people I do not know. In the past I have helped friends and neighbors when they were leaving town by watching their animals. In the past I ran my own cleaning business and often did minimal animal care while cleaning homes. I have a dog myself (Indie) and can understand the stress that comes with hiring a pet sitter or kenneling your pet. I hope I can help to provide a stress free option for pet care. You can be confident your animal will be getting the best possible care while you are away. I am offering walks in your neighborhood or longer hikes in the area accompanied by my dog, drop-in visits, and overnight sitting at your home. I wish I could offer boarding at my house but my landlord will not allow other dogs in my home. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about me please don't hesitate to contact me! I have a flexible schedule with my career than allows me to get out of the office to take breaks and walk or care for animals. I take trust very seriously. As someone who used to run a cleaning business I know how important it is to trust who you’re working with.

About: I’ve taken care of almost all kinds of animals since I was very young and I adore all pets and understand the necessity of pet sitters. I have done foster care for puppies, kittens, and special care senior animals alike. I’m a quick learner and dedicated to the absolute best for your pet. I’m also new to this app and am happy to negotiate on prices! My schedule can revolve entirely around your pet! I’m currently on summer break from my online college degree and am able to work flexibly depending on your needs. My only obligations are to take care of my own animals in the morning, evening, and midday. Which often is a quick routine and can be taken over by a loved one if necessary! I have an unfenced yard and hiking trail for walking dogs directly behind my apartment, I’m also close to a large field for stimulation if they need more activity and love going on hikes as well. I have 2 very friendly spayed female dogs and a spayed female cat, all of which love other animals. I have a crates for either my own animals or yours in a safe space. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed in my apartment.

Thanks to Lori our dog Doug was happy and healthy when we returned from our trip. Lori walked him faithfully every day for an extended amount of time and sent pics each day. When we returned a day before our booking ended due to my mistake, Lori happily refunded the difference. Kiddos! I recommend Lori wholeheartedly!

We booked another Rover dog walker to take care of our dog while we were in Durango. After we arrived, we contacted her to come out and meet our dog. She had contracted COVID so we told her not to worry about it. We contacted several more walkers and Kimberly was able to walk our dog the next day. She came out early in the morning to meet him, then came out three more times to take care of him while we took the train to Silverton and back. On the train, we decided to try a horseback ride the next day. We asked Kimberly if she could let him out again the next day and she could. Kimberly was friendly and able to take care of our dog on really short notice. We really appreciated her flexibility and availability.

Julia is great! She's one of those people who you like the moment you set eyes on her. It's obvious that she loves dogs and is not shy about showing it. Because I had such faith in Julia, I was able to enjoy a night out with my friends without having to be concerned about my two dogs. I highly recommend Julia, and I will certainly choose her again when I need a sitter.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was about 10. I have had different breeds of dogs such as Schnauzer, Poodle, Maltese, and an Australian Shepherd/lab mix. I have experience in taking care of multiple animals at a time and some experience administering medication to senior cats and dogs. I am going to be doing gig work so my schedule is as flexible as it needs to be. I can sit or drop in during the morning, day or evening. Since I will be taking care of pets in your home, I would utilize what is at my disposal as far as taking dogs out whether that's a fenced in yard or on a leash. I'd like to have a meet and greet to get to know where the food is kept and learn if your pet has any particulars when it comes to feeding, playing, etc.

About: I love animals deeply and genuinely love spending the time with furry friends. I also love being active and outdoors, so would love to do so with your pet. Let me know anything you need, I’m very flexible! I give lots of attention and love too ❤️ My job is flexible so I am able to accommodate whenever you need me for your pet. I love to run and be outdoors so pets that need walking will have a great time! I love to spend time, play with your pet, and make sure they are occupied while you are gone. My cat personally gets very lonely when I’m away and I appreciate a sitter who plays with her. I make that a priority!

About: I have raised 4 Labrador Retrievers from puppies, and have done the same with 2 horses. With that, experience comes a lot of knowledge and love for these animals on a daily basis. This has become a crazy world after COVID, but with each new challenge comes new opportunities. With a flexible schedule at this time, I am available to meet the needs of those individuals who need to get away. At home, my pets are family. The same love, kindness and care applies, if your home is your furry pets oasis, and I have the means to get there in bad weather..

About: I am a 36 year old female. I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. When i was growing up my mom would often find strays and bring them home to care for or until she found their owner. I have always had a soft spot for animals and i will take care of yours as if it were my own. I also have great references many that i have known and cared for their pets for years. I love to go for walks and play in the park. I have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule. When taking care of your home and dog I will treat your space with the upmost respect and ensure your animals are well cared for. Thank you for considering me to watch your pets! I work for myself at a massage therapist and set my own schedule, I am easily reached and quick to walk or let out a dog on short notice. I prefer to care for pets in their own home because it’s often more comfortable for them. I am respectful of your space and pride myself on leaving any place cleaner than I found it. About: I’ve taken care of many dogs from very small to giant breeds. I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs with heath issues. I have a very flexible schedule and either me or my husband is home at all times. I am a huge animal lover and have owned my own dogs for 20 years. I live in an area with lots of room to roam, fenced back yard and I live on 4 acres. I am a registered nurse currently working part time and my husband works from home. So we coordinate our schedules so that someone is always home with our dog and son. I have a large area for pets to be outside that is fully fenced. Very nice neighborhood with easy access to my home. I have one small dog who is very friendly with other dogs. I am also willing to accommodate your needs to make you more comfortable with caring for your pets, as a long time per owner I know how stressful it can be to leave them and having someone wonderful care for them is extremely important.

About: I've been an animal lover all my life. I started watching rabbits, cats, dogs, and turtles when I was just a kid. I now have a 2 year old Heeler-Great Prynees mix that I've raised and trained from 12 weeks old! Indy is the light of my life and best friend to all. He is extremely friendly and playful with great communication and boundaries. I also was foster parent at the local shelter for eleven different dogs ranging from 4 weeks to 12 years old. I took care of these dogs for an extended period of time until they could find loving forever homes. I have plenty of experience caring for, feeding, walking, cuddling, managing reactive dogs, and training. As a self employed individual, I'm available to work within your schedule and would love to take your pups on long hikes or simple give them some belly rubs on the couch. I also offer additional dog training for $75/hr whether it's just for an hour or during a sit. I am self employed and extremely flexible! I can walk dogs at any point during the day and am available for home visits at anytime. For boarding, I'll be with your dogs almost the entire day. I don't have a fenced yard but I do have excellent trails right across the street from my house and a kennel in my house for dogs that need to be confined when left home alone. I live in a very safe neighborhood .
