About: I’ve been a pet owner for nearly 30 years — from growing up with our family’s Border Collies and house cats, to raising my own Jack Russells throughout adulthood, to caring for two rescue kittens in college. I’m equally comfortable with dogs and cats of all personalities and needs. What sets me apart is the range of care I’ve provided. I’m a real estate agent with a team beneath me, which means I create my own schedule and have other agents I can rely on if I’m ever occupied. That gives me plenty of space in my days for walks, check-ins, playtime, and consistent attention. I’ve actually considered getting another dog over the last couple of years, but I haven’t felt ready for the full-time commitment again. A friend suggested I join Rover as a way to support other pet owners in the community while still getting to pour my love, energy, and care into animals — and it’s the perfect fit. Your pets get someone who’s genuinely excited to spend time with them and has the availability to be fully present. I’m very affectionate and hands-on with the pets I care for — they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. About: I am a working professional that will be doing this for some fun and extra income. This will be my first time doing pet care for people I do not know. In the past I have helped friends and neighbors when they were leaving town by watching their animals. In the past I ran my own cleaning business and often did minimal animal care while cleaning homes. I have a dog myself (Indie) and can understand the stress that comes with hiring a pet sitter or kenneling your pet. I hope I can help to provide a stress free option for pet care. About: I’ve taken care of almost all kinds of animals since I was very young and I adore all pets and understand the necessity of pet sitters. I have done foster care for puppies, kittens, and special care senior animals alike. I’m a quick learner and dedicated to the absolute best for your pet. I’m also new to this app and am happy to negotiate on prices! My schedule can revolve entirely around your pet! I’m currently on summer break from my online college degree and am able to work flexibly depending on your needs. My only obligations are to take care of my own animals in the morning, evening, and midday. Which often is a quick routine and can be taken over by a loved one if necessary! I have an unfenced yard and hiking trail for walking dogs directly behind my apartment, I’m also close to a large field for stimulation if they need more activity and love going on hikes as well. I have 2 very friendly spayed female dogs and a spayed female cat, all of which love other animals. I have a crates for either my own animals or yours in a safe space. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed in my apartment.

About: I have grown up with animals and taken care of animals my entire life. Grew up on a small farm and have worked with all types of pets. My schedule is very open in the mornings and most evenings. I sometimes work on weekends but very flexible. I go to Durango an Bayfield. I can crate dogs, walk dogs, hike with dogs and just love on dogs. Take dogs on runs, hikes and car rides. Able to do just about whatever is needed.

“We booked another Rover dog walker to take care of our dog while we were in Durango. After we arrived, we contacted her to come out and meet our dog. She had contracted COVID so we told her not to worry about it. We contacted several more walkers and Kimberly was able to walk our dog the next day. She came out early in the morning to meet him, then came out three more times to take care of him while we took the train to Silverton and back. On the train, we decided to try a horseback ride the next day. We asked Kimberly if she could let him out again the next day and she could. Kimberly was friendly and able to take care of our dog on really short notice. We really appreciated her flexibility and availability.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was about 10. I have had different breeds of dogs such as Schnauzer, Poodle, Maltese, and an Australian Shepherd/lab mix. I have experience in taking care of multiple animals at a time and some experience administering medication to senior cats and dogs. I am going to be doing gig work so my schedule is as flexible as it needs to be. I can sit or drop in during the morning, day or evening. Since I will be taking care of pets in your home, I would utilize what is at my disposal as far as taking dogs out whether that's a fenced in yard or on a leash. I'd like to have a meet and greet to get to know where the food is kept and learn if your pet has any particulars when it comes to feeding, playing, etc.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs from very small to giant breeds. I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs with heath issues. I have a very flexible schedule and either me or my husband is home at all times. I am a huge animal lover and have owned my own dogs for 20 years. I live in an area with lots of room to roam, fenced back yard and I live on 4 acres. I am a registered nurse currently working part time and my husband works from home. So we coordinate our schedules so that someone is always home with our dog and son. I have a large area for pets to be outside that is fully fenced. Very nice neighborhood with easy access to my home. I have one small dog who is very friendly with other dogs. I am also willing to accommodate your needs to make you more comfortable with caring for your pets, as a long time per owner I know how stressful it can be to leave them and having someone wonderful care for them is extremely important.

About: I've been an animal lover all my life. I started watching rabbits, cats, dogs, and turtles when I was just a kid. I now have a 2 year old Heeler-Great Prynees mix that I've raised and trained from 12 weeks old! Indy is the light of my life and best friend to all. He is extremely friendly and playful with great communication and boundaries. I also was foster parent at the local shelter for eleven different dogs ranging from 4 weeks to 12 years old. I took care of these dogs for an extended period of time until they could find loving forever homes. I have plenty of experience caring for, feeding, walking, cuddling, managing reactive dogs, and training. As a self employed individual, I'm available to work within your schedule and would love to take your pups on long hikes or simple give them some belly rubs on the couch. I also offer additional dog training for $75/hr whether it's just for an hour or during a sit. I am self employed and extremely flexible! I can walk dogs at any point during the day and am available for home visits at anytime. For boarding, I'll be with your dogs almost the entire day. I don't have a fenced yard but I do have excellent trails right across the street from my house and a kennel in my house for dogs that need to be confined when left home alone.
