About: hi my name is Chloe! My family has 4 dogs who I love to take care of. They are basically my babies. I would love to take care of your pets! I’m super reliable and pretty good about working around times for things needed to be done. I have a big heart for animals and I would love to help you out as well. I typically only work during the day, a couple times a week. So that would always give me time with your pets in the morning and all afternoon and night. If I were at my home I would play outside and stay with them till we are ready to come in. I’ll play fetch, tug, go on walks, or car rides! At others houses I would do the same, unless I am told otherwise.

About: Hi, I’m Lisa. I provide gentle, reliable pet care for cats and dogs, keeping their routines as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m certified in pet CPR and take care instructions seriously, with a strong focus on safety and consistency. My dog is 17 years young, so I especially enjoy working with pets who are older, shy, anxious, or used to a quiet home. I believe routines help pets feel secure, so I follow schedules closely, keep walks consistent, and watch for any behavioral changes. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. I’m available seven days a week and organize my schedule around pets’ routines. I’m present for morning care, afternoon walks or check-ins, evening care, and overnight stays when booked. I do have two predictable personal commitments each day (late morning and early evening), and I plan pet care around those times so routines remain consistent. Walk times can be adjusted as needed, especially during hotter parts of the day. I treat clients’ homes with respect and care. I keep doors and gates secure, double-check leashes during walks, and never take risks with unfamiliar dogs. I’m happy to provide regular updates with notes and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away.

“We booked another Rover dog walker to take care of our dog while we were in Durango. After we arrived, we contacted her to come out and meet our dog. She had contracted COVID so we told her not to worry about it. We contacted several more walkers and Kimberly was able to walk our dog the next day. She came out early in the morning to meet him, then came out three more times to take care of him while we took the train to Silverton and back. On the train, we decided to try a horseback ride the next day. We asked Kimberly if she could let him out again the next day and she could. Kimberly was friendly and able to take care of our dog on really short notice. We really appreciated her flexibility and availability.”

For pet parents- it’s important to note that often times, it’s not about the distance walked. Rather, the level of engagement and mental stimulation your pet receives. I practice positive reinforcement training with my own pup. With your direction, I will understand your pets motivation- is it food, affection, play, praise? My priority is creating a positive relationship built on trust and respect. I am careful to observe body language and take your pets lead when it comes to affection, play, and desired activity.

About: I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs including big dogs. We take walks everyday down the road and back on leash and multiple walks around my fenced in property off leash. With lots of opportunity for yard time inside my 6-ft fenced in yard. We are located in a scenic and peaceful neighborhood in Aspen springs, approximately 6 mi west of Pagosa springs. Your dog will be able to run and play as much as it wants (supervised, of course) on my fenced in one and a half acre property. I was given my first doggie duties at the age of 5, and other than when I was in the military, dogs have always been a part of my life. I currently have 2 dogs, one is a german shepherd/catahoula mix at about 2 yrs. old (still an active and playful pup) and the other is a husky/lab mix at about 12 yrs. old. both have lots of experience with other dogs. I don't spend much time away from the property these days. I do however have a part-time job in town that will keep me away from the house for about 4 to 6 hours and it's no problem taking an extended break if dogs need attention. You can be assured that when I'm away your pups will be safe, secure and comfortable. With plenty of space to stretch out in my three bedroom home. I live on just over an acre, in a nice qiuet country setting. The property is completely fenced in and gated with lots of trees and bushes there's also an "inner" yard surrounded by a 6ft cedar fence coming off the back porch of the house.

I can easily let your dog out multiple times and day in addition to at least two walks a day. About: I've been an animal lover all my life. I started watching rabbits, cats, dogs, and turtles when I was just a kid. I now have a 2 year old Heeler-Great Prynees mix that I've raised and trained from 12 weeks old! Indy is the light of my life and best friend to all. He is extremely friendly and playful with great communication and boundaries. I also was foster parent at the local shelter for eleven different dogs ranging from 4 weeks to 12 years old. I took care of these dogs for an extended period of time until they could find loving forever homes. I have plenty of experience caring for, feeding, walking, cuddling, managing reactive dogs, and training. As a self employed individual, I'm available to work within your schedule and would love to take your pups on long hikes or simple give them some belly rubs on the couch. I also offer additional dog training for $75/hr whether it's just for an hour or during a sit. I am self employed and extremely flexible! I can walk dogs at any point during the day and am available for home visits at anytime. For boarding, I'll be with your dogs almost the entire day. I don't have a fenced yard but I do have excellent trails right across the street from my house and a kennel in my house for dogs that need to be confined when left home alone. I also live next to Berg Park for walks if needed to be on a leash. We are capable of doing farms/feeding and care while you are away.

About: Hi my name is Kathryn K. I have an twelve year old Pomeranian I’ve had since a puppy and he is my whole world. I don’t go anywhere without him unless I absolutely have to. I have a few German Shepard Husky mixes also raised since birth. They are my everything. I also have four ducks, three cats, six goats and twenty six chickens….. I enjoy being outside and being with animals. I can walk , take dog(s) to park or hike ,play in yard ,cook for your dog(s) if they needs special food or I can take to get bathed or whatever you or dog wants/needs. I don’t know what I’d rather do than to be around animals all day everyday. I have dog sat quite a few times and it’s nice to know you make them feel comfortable when you the parent(s) are away. Would love to meet your dog and take them for a walk or cuddles anytime! :-) I currently work part time so I will have plenty of time to play or walk your pup(s)! :-) We just want to have some fun! :-) I go for hikes or walks around neighborhood one at a time or together! About: I’ve taken care of many dogs from very small to giant breeds. I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs with heath issues. I have a very flexible schedule and either me or my husband is home at all times. I am a huge animal lover and have owned my own dogs for 20 years. I live in an area with lots of room to roam, fenced back yard and I live on 4 acres. I am a registered nurse currently working part time and my husband works from home. So we coordinate our schedules so that someone is always home with our dog and son. I have a large area for pets to be outside that is fully fenced. Very nice neighborhood with easy access to my home. I have one small dog who is very friendly with other dogs. I am also willing to accommodate your needs to make you more comfortable with caring for your pets, as a long time per owner I know how stressful it can be to leave them and having someone wonderful care for them is extremely important.
