About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and wish I could have more of my own! I treat them like family. I am an RN so am happy to give medications and treatments as needed. I also hike or run each day and am happy to take bigger more active dogs as needed. I have my own dog named Judy. She is a 3 year old GSP who gets along with all dogs and loves playing and going for runs and hikes! I am willing to negotiate prices for different things so let me know what you have in mind! I am a traveling Registered Nurse and am in between contracts right now so my schedule is completely open. Message me any time and we can figure out a plan! I love all the pets and treat them like family! I will make sure they’re comfortable and get lots of pets and snuggles and attention! I have a fenced in yard.

“Kate is one of my two dogs’ favorite people! Kate is incredibly loving towards my dogs and they just love to cuddle her and go on adventures with her. One of my dogs has some special needs and not everyone understands her, but Kate is so in tune and patient with her. My animals are my family and I trust Kate completely to give them the best care!”
9. Liz M.
“My dog Koda usually takes a long time to warm up to new people and dogs. However he immediately bonded with Liz and her dog Baja. After they spent time together she has been able to work with koda on some behavior issues and give me tips on how I can help. I couldn’t recommend Liz enough!”
10. Kelsey S.
“As Kelsey's mom, I can attest to her love of dogs her whole life. We have always had dogs as pets in our family while she was growing up. She was involved in our local 4-H dog club, showing our dogs in agility and obedience for all of her high school years until she aged out of 4-H. She also volunteered at a local animal dog shelter when she was younger. Kelsey also has a love of horses and has participated in many horse shows and developed a network of people through the years that she would dog sit for when they went on vacation. She's also brought a variety of dogs into our home that she would watch and always took full responsibility and cared for them by making sure they were exercised by taking them on walks, hikes, swimming or just playing ball in the backyard with them. If you're looking for a responsible, loving dog sitter to care for your pet, I highly recommend Kelsey.”

About: Hello!! I’m a local raft guide, dog lover, and avid hiker/runner. I’ve owned dogs and taken care of friends' animals since I was 8. I volunteered regularly at an animal shelter, providing them with much-needed love and attention. I am a seasonal employee working as a raft guide and ski instructor. I would stay at your home with your pet, showing them all the love and attention needed while you’re away! I will treat your animals as respectfully as I would my own. Including play time, walks, helping train with basics if needed (for puppies), and a prompt feeding routine as well. Since I’m staying at your home, I love when pets snuggle and want to sleep with me as long as it’s okay with the owner as well! I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible while you have peace of mind that they’re in safe hands!
14. Victoria A.
“Victoria is my go-to-person for watching by my dog. She is extremely attentive and makes sure that my dog gets the same level of love, affection, and exercise as they would at home. Victoria fosters a positive environment and it shows, sometimes I think my dog would rather stay with her!”
15. Kat K.
“I have been friends with Kat for many years and she is my go to when I need someone to watch my animals. Kat is reliable and has never met an animal she didn't love. She is always ready to go on walks or get our animals out for an adventure. You can rest assured you fur babies will be in the best hands when they are with Kat.”
16. Kelsey R.
“Kelsey did an awesome job looking after my partner’s high-energy border collie! It can be challenging to find someone who can match this energy, but Kelsey exceeded expectations. She took the time to ask good questions about our dog’s routine, from feeding to interactive toys and exercise needs. She was attentive, communicative, and very responsible in her caregiving! Kelsey has vast experience in taking care of a range of pets, from newborn puppies to kitties. I strongly recommend Kelsey to pet-sit for any of your fury loved ones!”
17. Matt F.
“Matt was extremely attentive and loving when it came to taking care of my cat while I was gone. He went above and beyond the normal standard, making sure Carbon (my cat) felt loved and that I felt assured while traveling. I was able to enjoy my holiday even more receiving daily updates, videos and pictures of their time together. Matt is an amazing caretaker and I would confidently recommend him to anyone wanting their animal in good hands while they’re away!”

About: Unleash the Pawsibilities with a Seasoned Canine Expert! Your dog needs more than just walks. With over 14 years of owning and caring for dogs, I bring a wealth of experience to my dog care services. I have a degree in pre-vet (evolutionary biology with courses in animal behavior) and worked in a kennel/doggie day care during college. I have cultivated a deep understanding of canine companionship, having done in-home dog care and now in my hobbies of dog sports. I specialize in the care of high-drive dogs, senior dogs and young puppies as well as your average doggo. I have helped whelp and raise litters of puppies as well and used programs like Puppy Culture to raise resilient dogs. I currently compete in herding (sheep and geese) with my own dogs as well as working with them in agility, rally, conformation and obedience. Instead of just a visit to go out to potty or a walk around the block I can offer additional services that can help your dog get further enrichment that helps them feel fulfilled and calm, such as: - Scent work games - Trick training - Other games I'm currently working part-time at my consulting firm. I am free on Thursdays and Fridays during the day and can also do weekends and some evening visits on other weekdays. Thursdays and Fridays are my prime "walking during the day" visits. I currently only do home visits and walks. I am careful to manage whatever requirements you have for your yard and door management. I only do leashed walks (unless we have another arrangement after we get to know each other). Due to the risks, I won't allow your dog to meet other dogs on walks and will make sure that any unleashed dogs don't approach your dog.

About: Grown up with dogs in the house at all times. I have always been a huge dog lover of all sizes and personalities. My family currently has three dogs that can all be a handful (especially since two don't get along). So I have experience training them as well as things such as micro-aggressions and guarding behavior. I am also accustomed to dogs with a lot of energy. One of our dogs is a border collie/Aussie mix, so exercising dogs is not a foreign activity. I hope that this experience can give you a confident impression on my ability to watch over your best pals while away. I am a career raft guide and leave my schedule fairly free in the off season leaving adequate time to work in plenty of pet care. Drop-ins would include a lot of attention to your pet, checking on that they have everything they need, get a chance to play and pamper for the time that I am there.
20. Amanda M.
“Amanda was great. Stopped by twice before the actual visit to introduce herself and acquaint herself with our two dogs. Amanda provided drop-in service while my family took the train to Silverton. She sent a follow text and photo regarding her visit and the dogs interaction. I would definately recommend Amanda for watching your fur babies while being away.”
