“Another visit from Mallory for my two dogs. We were able to take our trip stress-free because we knew our pups would be receiving excellent care. I highly recommend her to care for your pets, she is simply the best. We are definitely rebooking with her for any future needs.”

“Michaela was great and we so appreciated her coming by mid day to walk and feed Rex. We were able to vacation and have him with us most of the time but on the days we did things that Rex couldn’t come we didn’t have to worry about his care.”

About: Dog bio - I've been caring for animals of all kinds my whole life. Growing up my family had many different pets ranging from dogs, to cats, to rodents. I've learned to many unique aspects of caring for different creatures of different species and temperaments and I love them all the same. I treat animals with respect and patience and have often heard that aggressive or nervous animals take a liking to me when they normally don't like strangers. As of right now I am the proud dog mom of a beautiful Siberian husky mix with an autoimmune disorder called lupus. She is my first medically fragile dog and I have been managing her medication and symptoms for about 2 years now. She has made amazing progress with her condition under my care and made me more confident that I could care for animals with any types of health condition. I also have experience with senior dogs and puppies as well as cats! I don't currently have a job and I am taking a break from college so I have plenty of free time for your babies! I'm available for pet sitting at your home during weekdays, and I can walk your dog any time, distance, or day of the week. I cannot do overnight boarding for most animals at my home, as I have a dog and cat that both don't get along with other animals of their species. For pet sitting all I need is the expectations for your home and your dogs care. List any health conditions, diet specialties, behavioral issues, or just quirks your animal has that may be worth mentioning
About: Hello fellow dog lovers! With over 20 years of experience owning and caring for dogs, I understand the deep bond between humans and their furry companions. I work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide care both during and outside of regular business hours. If you book me for pet sitting in your home, you can feel at ease knowing that I will respect your space and make it a goal of mine to leave your space as clean as you left it. Let’s connect and discuss how I can offer your dog the right care and attention to make you feel comfortable when you can’t be with them. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule! I can provide pet services within or outside of regular business hours- let’s discuss your pets needs and I can likely fit them in to my schedule, no problem! I love clients who offer detailed lists of their pets needs and daily routines! I used to do the same with my dog and know that following something like this gives everyone involved (dogs included!) ease of mind.
“Lori really deserves 10 stars, 5 doesn’t seem enough. She was so good with our dogs, even our dog who is scared of everyone warmed up to her quickly, we were shocked. She was dependable, flexible to our ever-changing schedule, and very responsive with communications. She has set a very high bar for any future dog walkers!”

About: I got my dog 3 years ago and raised and trained her from 2 months old! I have also pet sit for cats, great danes, pit bulls, and small dogs. I love taking care of animals and providing them the love and care I would give to my own dog when you are not available! I am currently in college so when I am not in class I will be able to be with your pet, ensuring they are well taken care of and loved on! I have a big wooded yard with plenty of space to run and swim! I also have my own dog to keep your baby company!
About: I’ve had pets my whole life, so becoming a dog and cat sitter was a given. From senior snoozers to zoomy puppies, from ‘don’t touch me’ cats to ‘please love me immediately’ cats, I’ve handled it all and loved every second. I’m currently in school at Fort Lewis. I have a few classes scattered throughout the day. My busiest day right now will be Tuesdays with back to back classes from 8-2:30. If watching pets in your home, I will ask for a list of expectations (feed times, concerns) so I can do the best job. I will be diligent about updating you, sending photos, and asking questions if they arise.
About: I’ve been a pet owner for nearly 30 years — from growing up with our family’s Border Collies and house cats, to raising my own Jack Russells throughout adulthood, to caring for two rescue kittens in college. I’m equally comfortable with dogs and cats of all personalities and needs. What sets me apart is the range of care I’ve provided. I’ve raised a Jack Russell puppy from the wild, zoomie-filled stage into a well-behaved, confident adult, so I’m patient, consistent, and great with puppies who need structure and gentle training. I’ve also cared for a 17-year-old senior dog during his end-of-life stage, which taught me how to support pets who need slower routines, medication, and close, intuitive attention. I fostered an entire litter of puppies and their mom from an overcrowded shelter, so I’m familiar with round-the-clock care, monitoring, and meeting shy or sensitive animals where they are. Between that and my own lifelong pet experience, I’ve worked with animals at every life stage and energy level. I’m single with plenty of free time, which means your pets get steady attention, affection, and a calm, reliable presence while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because of the flexibility I have in my career. I’m a real estate agent with a team beneath me, which means I create my own schedule and have other agents I can rely on if I’m ever occupied. That gives me plenty of space in my days for walks, check-ins, playtime, and consistent attention. I’ve actually considered getting another dog over the last couple of years, but I haven’t felt ready for the full-time commitment again. A friend suggested I join Rover as a way to support other pet owners in the community while still getting to pour my love, energy, and care into animals — and it’s the perfect fit. Your pets get someone who’s genuinely excited to spend time with them and has the availability to be fully present. I’m very affectionate and hands-on with the pets I care for — they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I genuinely love walking, so having a dog join me on my daily walks is the best part of my routine. Whether it’s a neighborhood stroll, a peaceful loop along the River Trail, or a fun outing to the Smelter dog park, I make sure pets get the activity and stimulation they need. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely so everything feels familiar and comforting. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, behavior changes, and whatever little rituals make each pet feel at ease. My goal is always to create a safe, loving, and engaging experience — whether they’re with me for a few hours or a few days.
About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I have always loved animals and my freinds, neighbors, and family always ask me to care for their furry loved ones! I’m currently working only a couple shifts a month at my other job, so I can be reliable and flexible with many different schedules to fit your needs! In my clients home I will be sure the pets have the food/water their owners desire, and I would love to play and run the energy out of your pets during the day while your at work!
“We are very happy with the service that Julia provided. We will be calling upon her in the near future. So wonderful to leave our old kids in the hands of someone reliable and caring. Thank you!”

About: Hey there! I love animals and helping others. I am looking to walk your dog or visit your cat in my downtime. I have experience with all kinds of animals. From doggos to snakes, cats, rodents and everything in between like birds and horses. I have flexible availability and can even take same day requests. Feel at ease knowing someone is caring for your family member during the holidays. I am super loving and offer genuine care for your pet while you’re away. I love to play with your trusty companion and offer love to them as you would.
About: I have had dogs my whole life! I believe it is important for your dog to get exercise on a daily basis to stay happy and healthy! Cuddles are huge in our home! I can help with any training or senior care that is needed as I have had many dogs of all ages :) I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your four legged fiends! I do offer boarding and I do have another dog to keep your babies company:) I have a balcony that I usually will leave the door open to and I have a big grass area to take them potty every 2-4 hours on leash! I also can crate your dog if needed :)
About: Since childhood, I’ve always felt most at home among nonhuman animals, and I’ll never understand humans who treat animals as less deserving of love, respect, and care. My animals are my family, and I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own. I have experience with cats and dogs of all temperaments. One of my dogs has a history of reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. I feel very comfortable managing this type of behavior using treats, ecollar, muzzle, prevention techniques, and communication with other dog-owners. I’m also experienced managing groups of dogs off leash and will work with your dog to reinforce good recall and safety behaviors (such as stopping at intersections, waiting before they go out of sight, sitting for cars, passing other dogs, etc.). I am a writer who works from home. I am available for daycare, afternoon walks & drop-ins, and select boarding for dogs who get along well with my two dogs and are good with cats. If your dog is trained off-leash, has solid recall, and is either good with other dogs or muzzle trained, I offer pack hikes and walks. I have a large fenced yard with a dog door that goes into the main living areas. My two dogs & 4 cats are onsite. Your dog must be good with cats and other dogs or be muzzle-trained to attend daycare or boarding at my home. Your dogs will get a walk or adventure during daycare (unless you prefer them not to, in which case they must be able to stay home alone for 1-2 hours either kenneled or loose without becoming destructive). To attend off-leash pack walks/hikes, your dogs must demonstrate reliable recall even when triggers are present (such as an other dogs, wildlife, cats, cars, etc.). Your dog must also have no history of aggression towards other dogs or people OR be muzzle-trained.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
