“Sammy was amazing. We received pictures everyday with a little recap. Luna seemed perfectly happy while we were away, I don't think she missed us at all. Sammy also left the house very clean, which was appreciated when we got home late.”

“Patty went above and beyond! While I was away, the animals got so much love and attention and the dogs got extra exercise. Patty sent lots of updates and photos and left the house even cleaner than it was before I left. The animals were very relaxed when I got back which tells me they got their needs met. I feel very lucky to have found Patty!”

“My dog, who often won’t eat when we are away, was comfortable and happy enough to eat well during Chris’ stay. We came home to a very clean home and a content dog. Chris is great with communication and detail oriented, which I really appreciate. His updates let us know that Roscoe was well cared for and content and gave us great peace of mind while away. He also wouldn’t hesitate to let us know if something didn’t go as planned. Would definitely hire him again.”

“Lori was so sweet with our baby! She took the time to meet us the day before as we are new to Rover. Payson took to her immediately so we knew it would be a good day! If we are ever in the Buena Vista/Leadville area, we will definitely reach out to Lori again! Thank you so much!”

“Emily was fabulous! She was assiduous in verifying details before, during and after her stay at my home. Emily was careful to cater to each of my pet's individual needs and sent regular photo updates. In addition, she expertly dealt with a complicated refrigerator delivery situation, which I greatly appreciate. Most importantly, though, my dogs loved her!”

“Michael was super communicative and took amazing care of my 65lb dog while I was away over a holiday weekend. Cooper can be reactive and worry when he is in the care of others, but Michael managed his anxiety like a dream! Would definitely use Michael again!”

About: Ive been house/pet sitting for folks in my neighborhood since I was in middle school. I've always loved animals and always had a few of my own my entire life, ranging from livley puppies to much older dogs (same with cats), I can easily say ive taken care of many animals of different kinds of training and age ranges. Some dates around August might be a little finicky as I'm planning on moving but until I know more details I'm keeping my availability open! I am currently working part time! Typically my schedule is mid-day shifts (10-4) on the weekends, the weekdays I work 4-8 on Tuesday and Thursday and 11-8 on Wednesday. That being said my schedule is fairly flexible especially on weekends, my Mondays and Fridays I have off entirely! I can crate any pets that may need it, will happily stay in the same space for extended periods of time, and when on walks or outdoor activities keep the dog on a leash unless in an enclosed space. I'm open to instructions especially if there are certain ways that a household does something.
About: I have lived in a dog friendly household ever since I can remember. Growing up, my family always had Boxers so I am more than used to taking care of energetic dogs. I have helped raise many a puppy, as well as cared for our family dogs as they eased into old age. I recently adopted a puppy from Northern Arizona Animal Search and Rescue. We are working on socializing her with both dogs and people. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs! I currently work from home full time so I will be home the entire time your pet stays with me. I am also a runner and run 7 days a week, so I would be more than happy to take your pup with me for a short run, walk, hike or whatever it is that you would like! I have a larged fenced in yard with a gate for your dog to play in. I also have plenty of room in my house to store a crate if needed!
“Trista was amazing. I have never returned from a trip and seen my dog so happy and energetic. Trista left my house spotless and went above and beyond to collect mail, clean up and wash all towels and sheets that she used. I highly recommend Trista to trust her with your beloved fur babies and in staying in your home!”

About: I have been caring for animals my entire life. I was born and raised in the country surrounded by cats, dogs, the list goes on and on. I started pet and house sitting as a teenager and have continued since then. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love spending time with them. As as homeschooling single mom of two animal-loving kids, your pet won't be left alone all day. I spend a lot of time at home, and my children are kind, gentle, and very experienced around animals. They love helping with walks, playtime, and cuddles (with your permission, of course!). I offer plenty of attention, affection, and companionship, and I will treat your babies like part of our family. My summer schedule is wide open to help with walks, playtime, cuddles, and outdoor adventures. If you're looking for a sitter where your pet will be treated like part of the fam, I would love to help. I know how important is is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I am very intentional and aware of their normal routines and rituals, give them lots of attention and affection, and bring a grounded, present, calm companionship with me. I carefully follow all instructions given regarding feeding, walks, medications, crating, household preferences, etc. My children and I very respectful of both of your pets and your home, and I am very responsive with my communications with regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are being well cared for and loved!
