About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, starting from a young age. My parents had a little farm and a love for Boxers, a very high energy breed. I have a preference for Great-Danes and other gentle giants, but I love all dogs! Our 1.5 acre backyard is fenced and ready for your pet to play, potty, and chill with our 8 year-old graying pup, Olympus. I walk my pet one mile everyday and often run another mile on my own since my dog is elderly and cannot run with me. Meals are twice, sometimes three times a day. I clean the floors, rugs, and all doggie blankets once a week to maintain a hygienic environment. I work from home so I am always around. I have a flexible schedule that can fit your pups needs. I can manage high-energy pups, I have air conditioning, and I have an insurance plan through Pet Care Insurance.

About: I’ve grown up and cared for with dogs my entire life. I’ve also fostered dogs in the past for multiple months at a time. I’m extremely responsive, careful, and comfortable with dogs of all size. Looking forward to helping with your pet needs! I’m currently WFH 5 days a week. My schedule is pretty flexible in terms of when I’m on and offline. My day typically follows a normal 9-5 working day. Depending on the pet, I definitely prioritize walks and getting time outside to get energy out. I’m okay with letting them roam around the apartment and will not have to be crated or blocked off from any parts. Of course, I follow the instructions given from the care giver if I will be at their home.

About: My first love was a cat named Eartha who belonged to our next door neighbor but spent much of their time at our house. Growing up, I knew every cat in the neighborhood and rode by bike to deliver treats to each one. Naturally, my first job as a young child was cat sitting. I have lived with cats my whole adult life. My older boys Mowgli & Squeaker are 11. I fostered kitten litters for years until I couldn’t part with my younger cats Edgar & Penelope, now 3. I’ve never met a cat I couldn’t win over and I know how to be respectful and patient with shy kitties. About: I have been working with animals since I was a child! I grew up on a farm with horses and our trusty yellow Labradors, learning from an early age the true meaning of taking care of others. I love providing dogs the happiest experience - I find such joy when playing, running, skiing, or hiking with dogs and seeing the BIG smile on their faces! I have lots of free time between classes to check on/walk your puppies! If your pups need more supervision I’d be happy to stay at the house between classes to keep your pets company. Your pet would always be in my sight when we’re outside, and I’d follow your instructions for them inside. I clean up after myself and I pack my own snacks.

About: Working with pets is something I truly love. I grew up on a farm with countless cats, cows, pigs, and horses, where I think that love started. Since, I’ve volunteered for an animal shelter, cared for other’s pets (housesitting, walking, drop in visits), and had my own doggo for thirteen years, and recently adopted a sweet family dog. With lots of opportunity for yard time inside my 6-ft fenced in yard. We are located in a scenic and peaceful neighborhood in Aspen springs, approximately 6 mi west of Pagosa springs. Your dog will be able to run and play as much as it wants (supervised, of course) on my fenced in one and a half acre property. I was given my first doggie duties at the age of 5, and other than when I was in the military, dogs have always been a part of my life. I currently have 2 dogs, one is a german shepherd/catahoula mix at about 2 yrs. old (still an active and playful pup) and the other is a husky/lab mix at about 12 yrs. old. both have lots of experience with other dogs. I don't spend much time away from the property these days. I do however have a part-time job in town that will keep me away from the house for about 4 to 6 hours and it's no problem taking an extended break if dogs need attention. You can be assured that when I'm away your pups will be safe, secure and comfortable. With plenty of space to stretch out in my three bedroom home. I live on just over an acre, in a nice qiuet country setting. The property is completely fenced in and gated with lots of trees and bushes there's also an "inner" yard surrounded by a 6ft cedar fence coming off the back porch of the house.

I have a preference for Great-Danes and other gentle giants, but I love all dogs! About: Since childhood, I’ve always felt most at home among nonhuman animals, and I’ll never understand humans who treat animals as less deserving of love, respect, and care. My animals are my family, and I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own. I have experience with cats and dogs of all temperaments. One of my dogs has a history of reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. I feel very comfortable managing this type of behavior using treats, ecollar, muzzle, prevention techniques, and communication with other dog-owners. I’m also experienced managing groups of dogs off leash and will work with your dog to reinforce good recall and safety behaviors (such as stopping at intersections, waiting before they go out of sight, sitting for cars, passing other dogs, etc.). I am a writer who works from home. I am available for daycare, afternoon walks & drop-ins, and select boarding for dogs who get along well with my two dogs and are good with cats. If your dog is trained off-leash, has solid recall, and is either good with other dogs or muzzle trained, I offer pack hikes and walks. I have a large fenced yard with a dog door that goes into the main living areas. My two dogs & 4 cats are onsite. Your dog must be good with cats and other dogs or be muzzle-trained to attend daycare or boarding at my home. Your dogs will get a walk or adventure during daycare (unless you prefer them not to, in which case they must be able to stay home alone for 1-2 hours either kenneled or loose without becoming destructive). To attend off-leash pack walks/hikes, your dogs must demonstrate reliable recall even when triggers are present (such as an other dogs, wildlife, cats, cars, etc.). Your dog must also have no history of aggression towards other dogs or people OR be muzzle-trained.

About: I’ve grown up and cared for with dogs my entire life. I’ve also fostered dogs in the past for multiple months at a time. I’m extremely responsive, careful, and comfortable with dogs of all size. Looking forward to helping with your pet needs! I’m currently WFH 5 days a week. My schedule is pretty flexible in terms of when I’m on and offline. My day typically follows a normal 9-5 working day. Depending on the pet, I definitely prioritize walks and getting time outside to get energy out. I’m okay with letting them roam around the apartment and will not have to be crated or blocked off from any parts. Of course, I follow the instructions given from the care giver if I will be at their home.
