About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, starting from a young age. My parents had a little farm and a love for Boxers, a very high energy breed. I have a preference for Great-Danes and other gentle giants, but I love all dogs! Our 1.5 acre backyard is fenced and ready for your pet to play, potty, and chill with our 8 year-old graying pup, Olympus. I walk my pet one mile everyday and often run another mile on my own since my dog is elderly and cannot run with me. Meals are twice, sometimes three times a day. I clean the floors, rugs, and all doggie blankets once a week to maintain a hygienic environment. I work from home so I am always around. I have a flexible schedule that can fit your pups needs. I can manage high-energy pups and dogs with separation anxiety. I have an insurance plan through Pet Care Insurance.

About: I have been working with animals since I was a child! I grew up on a farm with horses and our trusty yellow Labradors, learning from an early age the true meaning of taking care of others. I love providing dogs the happiest experience - I find such joy when playing, running, skiing, or hiking with dogs and seeing the BIG smile on their faces! Any pups that stay with me, my husband, and our goofy dog, Miles, will have a fantastic time, as well as guaranteed adventure (as appropriate!). When your pup stays with us, he/she will never be left alone and will be treated as one of our own. My dog had a difficult past so it can take her a few interactions to warm up to and trust people, but she had good space, quality playtime, and bonded with their two dogs (normally she just retreats from most stimulation). She even got along with their cats -which is unprecedented for a coonhound! Virginia is both confident and competent with animals and clearly knows how to keep them feeling comfortable, safe, and happy. About: I am a working professional that will be doing this for some fun and extra income. This will be my first time doing pet care for people I do not know. In the past I have helped friends and neighbors when they were leaving town by watching their animals. In the past I ran my own cleaning business and often did minimal animal care while cleaning homes. “We booked another Rover dog walker to take care of our dog while we were in Durango. After we arrived, we contacted her to come out and meet our dog. She had contracted COVID so we told her not to worry about it. We contacted several more walkers and Kimberly was able to walk our dog the next day. She came out early in the morning to meet him, then came out three more times to take care of him while we took the train to Silverton and back. On the train, we decided to try a horseback ride the next day. We asked Kimberly if she could let him out again the next day and she could. Kimberly was friendly and able to take care of our dog on really short notice. We really appreciated her flexibility and availability.”

I work for myself at a massage therapist and set my own schedule, I am easily reached and quick to walk or let out a dog on short notice. About: I have a senior pup back home, we rescued her years ago and now she’s living her best life all spoiled with seasonal bananas. I have another 4 year german shepherd who’s high functioning and interactive, I love taking him to the dog park and out for pup-cups. I have lots of free time between classes to check on/walk your puppies! If your pups need more supervision I’d be happy to stay at the house between classes to keep your pets company. Your pet would always be in my sight when we’re outside, and I’d follow your instructions for them inside. I clean up after myself and I pack my own snacks.
About: Hi! I'm Kendall, and on top of having dogs of my own for the majority of my life, I have three years of professional pet care experience. Working at a dog day care and boarding facility gives me experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, special feeding instructions and giving medications, grooming, training, and much more. I am also pet CPR and First Aid certified. I currently am working ski school at Purgatory a few days a week, and would love to take your dog on walks, runs, or hikes, or just a cuddle on the couch. I have a large car that can accommodate any size dog(s), so I can pick up animals for boarding if needed. I live in a house with a fenced in back yard, and am walking distance to hikes and the river path. I can't wait to meet you and your dog! I am currently teaching ski school at Purgatory, so my schedule is pretty flexible, especially given advance notice. I live in downtown Durango so have pretty easy access to almost anywhere! I live in a duplex with a fenced in backyard with room to play. Depending on your pet's needs, we can play in the yard, or go on hikes or walks in the neighborhood.

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, starting from a young age. My parents had a little farm and a love for Boxers, a very high energy breed. I have a preference for Great-Danes and other gentle giants, but I love all dogs! Our 1.5 acre backyard is fenced and ready for your pet to play, potty, and chill with our 8 year-old graying pup, Olympus. I walk my pet one mile everyday and often run another mile on my own since my dog is elderly and cannot run with me. Meals are twice, sometimes three times a day. About: I have been working with animals since I was a child! I grew up on a farm with horses and our trusty yellow Labradors, learning from an early age the true meaning of taking care of others. I love providing dogs the happiest experience - I find such joy when playing, running, skiing, or hiking with dogs and seeing the BIG smile on their faces!
