About: I have cared for animals almost my entire life. Started out wanting to be a veterinarian ended up as an elementary school teacher retired now with some time on my hand and love for animals in my heart! 💜 Since I am retired I have time and flexibility to care for your pet. About: Hi my name is Jesse. I am a young adult here in Durango who works a couple of different jobs including working at bread bakery, teaching Circus arts to kids at the Durango Circus, and occasionally pet sitting! I have one cat of my own and have always loved animals, so finding some extra work caring for them I thought would be in alignment with who I am. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine — it gives me the chance to stay active, help others, and support my family. As a new dad and lifelong animal lover, I enjoy using my free time to care for pets and make sure they’re happy and well looked after. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I make sure pets get plenty of safe, on-leash walks and outdoor time. I’m also comfortable with crate time if that’s part of their routine. I always follow the owner’s preferences to make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for just like they would at home.
About: I have lived in a dog friendly household ever since I can remember. Growing up, my family always had Boxers so I am more than used to taking care of energetic dogs. I have helped raise many a puppy, as well as cared for our family dogs as they eased into old age. I recently adopted a puppy from Northern Arizona Animal Search and Rescue. We are working on socializing her with both dogs and people. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs! I currently work from home full time so I will be home the entire time your pet stays with me. I am also a runner and run 7 days a week, so I would be more than happy to take your pup with me for a short run, walk, hike or whatever it is that you would like! I have a larged fenced in yard with a gate for your dog to play in. I also have plenty of room in my house to store a crate if needed!
