About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, starting from a young age. My parents had a little farm and a love for Boxers, a very high energy breed. I have a preference for Great-Danes and other gentle giants, but I love all dogs! Our 1.5 acre backyard is fenced and ready for your pet to play, potty, and chill with our 8 year-old graying pup, Olympus. I walk my pet one mile everyday and often run another mile on my own since my dog is elderly and cannot run with me. Meals are twice, sometimes three times a day. I clean the floors, rugs, and all doggie blankets once a week to maintain a hygienic environment. I work from home so I am always around. I have a flexible schedule that can fit your pups needs. I can manage high-energy pups and dogs with separation anxiety. I have an insurance plan through Pet Care Insurance.

About: I’ve taken care of almost all kinds of animals since I was very young and I adore all pets and understand the necessity of pet sitters. I have done foster care for puppies, kittens, and special care senior animals alike. I’m a quick learner and dedicated to the absolute best for your pet. I’m also new to this app and am happy to negotiate on prices! My schedule can revolve entirely around your pet! I’m currently on summer break from my online college degree and am able to work flexibly depending on your needs. My only obligations are to take care of my own animals in the morning, evening, and midday. Which often is a quick routine and can be taken over by a loved one if necessary! I have an unfenced yard and hiking trail for walking dogs directly behind my apartment, I’m also close to a large field for stimulation if they need more activity and love going on hikes as well. I have 2 very friendly spayed female dogs and a spayed female cat, all of which love other animals. I have a crates for either my own animals or yours in a safe space. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed in my apartment.

“I was so happy to meet Ginia. It was Easter weekend and wasn’t sure if anyone would be able to watch my pups for a few hours. Ginia was available and quickly responded to my request. Her gated back yard is perfect for my pups. She sent me pics and videos of the two pups which eased my anxiety of leaving them with someone else. Highly recommend Ginia with your animals. About: I went to school originally for animal science and veterinary technology. I worked in veterinary ERs, general practice, shelters for 6 years out of school. While I have hung up my hat as a vet tech officially in 2009 after I found a passion for a career in nonprofit and outdoor education, I still maintained several dog/cat sitting clients in Telluride where I lived over the course of fifteen years on the side of my full time program director position for a busy summer camp. Now in my 40s I work from home or remotely, for the last six years, as a nonprofit consultant. I have one lab named Zappa who keeps me on my toes the way only labs know how. (I can always bring him with me to your home or let him stay at home.) My lifestyle is active and I stay flexible so I can work remotely for travel opportunities (or to stay with your fur babies in your home!). I love running, hiking, surfing, rafting and riding bikes. Senior pets, meds and special instructions are no problem for me with my certified vet tech background. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones! I split my time between Mancos/Durango/Telluride so can stay wherever you are or your pet can stay with me, or I can do drop ins. Sometimes I have to drive up to Telluride for client meetings but would know ahead of time and plan your pet sitting around that or just not schedule anything during that time. My house is very clean, uncluttered and comfortable. I have an unfenced yard on 4 acres but would follow your lead on this one. My dog uses a halo collar for his fence boundary at my house. I’ve cared for dogs who need leash walks only too.

“Nichole is a wonderful sitter!! We boarded our white Golden Retriever, Kodiak with her while we were at Wanderlust Squaw and got wonderful photos back from her! It was like leaving your dog with a professional photographer. Some of the photos we got back we are framing:) She is a kind and patient sitter and you can tell she really LOVES dogs. She also has a white Golden Retriever ("English Cream") and the two pups got along famously! We'll be using her services again if we are up that way!!”
