About: Hello! My name is Sav and I loveee animals. Im still getting to know the town of Durango while I’m in school for wildlife biology so I'm trying to make some extra money. I was a dog walker for my previous client for 2 years and 5 days a week and I have many references. I also have experience in housesitting, dog sitting, raising puppies etc. I have a beautiful dog named Fera who is amazing with kids, babies, cats, and everything except squirrels. I have 7 acres of land in the back of my apartments that is basically a fenced dog park with a pond. My place is extremely pet friendly and far from busy roads. :)

About: I have been working with animals since I was a child! I grew up on a farm with horses and our trusty yellow Labradors, learning from an early age the true meaning of taking care of others. I love providing dogs the happiest experience - I find such joy when playing, running, skiing, or hiking with dogs and seeing the BIG smile on their faces! Any pups that stay with me, my husband, and our goofy dog, Miles, will have a fantastic time, as well as guaranteed adventure (as appropriate!). When your pup stays with us, he/she will never be left alone and will be treated as one of our own. Having fur-babies of our own, I understand the importance of knowing that your pup is well taken care of according to his/her needs. We hope to see you soon! I work full-time from home with a flexible schedule. Considering this, your pup will never be left alone and enjoy our company (and snuggles) 24/7. I have a flexible schedule and will update my calendar weekly as needed regarding my availability. Our home is located in Rafter J on three acres, ~10 minutes from downtown Durango. We have one dog named Miles, a seven-year-old Weimaraner who has a goober personality and LOVES to play with other dogs.

About: I went to school originally for animal science and veterinary technology. I worked in veterinary ERs, general practice, shelters for 6 years out of school. While I have hung up my hat as a vet tech officially in 2009 after I found a passion for a career in nonprofit and outdoor education, I still maintained several dog/cat sitting clients in Telluride where I lived over the course of fifteen years on the side of my full time program director position for a busy summer camp. Now in my 40s I work from home or remotely, for the last six years, as a nonprofit consultant. I have one lab named Zappa who keeps me on my toes the way only labs know how. (I can always bring him with me to your home or let him stay at home.) My lifestyle is active and I stay flexible so I can work remotely for travel opportunities (or to stay with your fur babies in your home!). I love running, hiking, surfing, rafting and riding bikes. Senior pets, meds and special instructions are no problem for me with my certified vet tech background. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones! Let me know if you have any questions 💙 I’m typically very flexible since I work from home. I split my time between Mancos/Durango/Telluride so can stay wherever you are or your pet can stay with me, or I can do drop ins. Sometimes I have to drive up to Telluride for client meetings but would know ahead of time and plan your pet sitting around that or just not schedule anything during that time. My house is very clean, uncluttered and comfortable. I have an unfenced yard on 4 acres but would follow your lead on this one. My dog uses a halo collar for his fence boundary at my house. I’ve cared for dogs who need leash walks only too.
