“I was so happy to meet Ginia. It was Easter weekend and wasn’t sure if anyone would be able to watch my pups for a few hours. Ginia was available and quickly responded to my request. Her gated back yard is perfect for my pups. She sent me pics and videos of the two pups which eased my anxiety of leaving them with someone else. Highly recommend Ginia with your animals. Clearly she loves animals. She even has chickens and quail. She even shared her quail eggs with me. Thank you Ginia for taking good care of my fur babies.”

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, starting from a young age. My parents had a little farm and a love for Boxers, a very high energy breed. I have a preference for Great-Danes and other gentle giants, but I love all dogs! Our 1.5 acre backyard is fenced and ready for your pet to play, potty, and chill with our 8 year-old graying pup, Olympus. I walk my pet one mile everyday and often run another mile on my own since my dog is elderly and cannot run with me. Meals are twice, sometimes three times a day. I clean the floors, rugs, and all doggie blankets once a week to maintain a hygienic environment. I work from home so I am always around. I have a flexible schedule that can fit your pups needs. I can manage high-energy pups and dogs with separation anxiety. I have an insurance plan through Pet Care Insurance.
“The Dude is in such great hands with Will. He is happy when he arrives, and he is happy when we pick him up, and he looks happy (and relaxed) in all the update photos Will sends. Can't ask for a better sitter for The Dude when we travel.”

“Jenny has been an amazing dogsitter for us. We have started using her every time we go out of town. Our 3 dogs have very different personalities. One is old, one is a very large puppy, and the third doesn't love to play with other dogs. Despite their differences, she has been able to manage them seemlessly. She is caring and truly loves our dogs. She sent lots of pictures so we could se how cuddled and happy they were. I would highly recommend Jenny's services.”
“Darek was fantastic with my pup! She was a happy girl when I picked her up. On top of that, my trip ended up getting extended two extra days and Darek was so helpful and communicative during the whole process, it took a huge weight off of my shoulders as a pet parent! Definitely recommend him as a sitter and will be using him again!!”

“Fred came home so happy! Him and Jackson had a fantastic time hiking, snuggling, and hanging. Jackson was great to send us pictures and updates. He was also very accommodating with pick up and drop off times. We are grateful that Fred has a new trusted pal.”

“Ansley was awesome! She was very communicative and sent adorable pictures and updates of Luna throughout her stay, and took Luna to do lots of fun activities. Her dog was also great with Luna! I felt like Luna was in great hands while I was traveling. I will definitely plan to book with Ansley again.”

“Savannah was wonderful with Alice during her four-night stay! She communicated consistently, sent updates, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. Most importantly, Alice absolutely loved her and came home happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with Savannah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter for their dog.”

About: I have been working with animals since I was a child! I grew up on a farm with horses and our trusty yellow Labradors, learning from an early age the true meaning of taking care of others. I love providing dogs the happiest experience - I find such joy when playing, running, skiing, or hiking with dogs and seeing the BIG smile on their faces! Any pups that stay with me, my husband, and our goofy dog, Miles, will have a fantastic time, as well as guaranteed adventure (as appropriate!). When your pup stays with us, he/she will never be left alone and will be treated as one of our own. Having fur-babies of our own, I understand the importance of knowing that your pup is well taken care of according to his/her needs. We hope to see you soon! I work full-time from home with a flexible schedule. Considering this, your pup will never be left alone and enjoy our company (and snuggles) 24/7. I have a flexible schedule and will update my calendar weekly as needed regarding my availability. Our home is located in Rafter J on three acres, ~10 minutes from downtown Durango. We have one dog named Miles, a seven-year-old Weimaraner who has a goober personality and LOVES to play with other dogs.
“Thanks Tarah for Ranger’s visit. Sounds like he had a wonderful adventure filled visit. He was definitely tired but happy when we picked him up. We would love to have you watch him again!”

“Was able to vacation worry-free. Puppy was happy healthy and well taken care of. Michaela is great with animals and I hope she will be watching my dog during any future trips. Have no reservations about leaving your dog with her.”

“Lori is the best caretaker of dogs I’ve ever known. She is unfailingly kind and loving to my dog. It is a bonus that she has her own terrific dogs for mine to hang out with. You can tell a lot about a person based on how their dogs behave around you. They are sweet and friendly. Lori is very professional and communicates well. She is responsive and generous with her time when I drop off or pick up my dog. She sends pix and gives reassurance. She goes with the flow and is understanding about my dog or changing circumstances. I love the set up she has at the house. It is perfect for my dog. I can’t recommend Lori enough. We are so grateful to have her as a sitter for our dog.”

“5+ stars. Ulli is still a pup and this was the first time I left him with a non-family member. Ulli had a blast and came back happy and healthy. Nichole sent lots of pics of him out enjoying Tahoe life. She even went above and beyond by giving him a brushing and organizing all of his things for pick-up. Really the best. HIGHLY recommend.”

“Devon took such great care of Maia for us and the bonus was that she had a new playmate to go on walks with in a beautiful area. She had the best time and we’ll definitely be back soon!!”

About: I have been the luckiest dog mom to two of the sweetest and most special Frenchies for almost 12 years. Sadly, they both moved on within 3 weeks of each other and I need to watch yours now :) If you are reading this and you have a Frenchie, you know that they have very specific needs as compared to other dogs. They're barely dogs. I will go out of my way to do all of the crazy things that you are afraid to ask a dog sitter to do including but not limited to: carrying them up and down stairs and on/off furniture. Ensuring that a mountain lion or hawk doesn't pick them off with constant supervision in my fully-fenced yard. Letting them sleep and snuggle on the couch and in the bed. Giving them some insane-to-understand food preparation because that's "just how they like it." Keeping their snout smooth, ears and wrinkles cleaned, and tush tidy. Ensuring that they don't overheat or drown. These are legitimately all of the fears that I had and I could never find a consistent trusted dog sitter so I often could not leave my pups. Let me help you! My husband and I work from home and want a little Frenchie buddy to play with during the day. We're not ready to own another at the moment but are happy to provide top notch care to your friend. Your pups will always be supervised in the backyard. We have a dog door but our Frenchies were never taught to use it because of the risk of a wildlife encounter without our supervision. They will be monitored to ensure that they don't hurt their backs (carrying up/down stairs and on/off furniture. No toys will be left out if they are left alone to minimize any hazards. If there is an emergency we have had to deal with seizures in the past and know the protocol. We are happy to bring them to the vet if we feel it's necessary.

Emily, was a great dog sitter! Very nice and lay back personally. Which was a great fit for my Bernice mountain dog. She was very responsive and nice enough to update me with pictures of how Ivy was doing throughout her visit. I would definitely recommend her and return to her as well.
