About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, starting from a young age. My parents had a little farm and a love for Boxers, a very high energy breed. I have a preference for Great-Danes and other gentle giants, but I love all dogs! Our 1.5 acre backyard is fenced and ready for your pet to play, potty, and chill with our 8 year-old graying pup, Olympus. I walk my pet one mile everyday and often run another mile on my own since my dog is elderly and cannot run with me. Meals are twice, sometimes three times a day. I clean the floors, rugs, and all doggie blankets once a week to maintain a hygienic environment. I work from home so I am always around. I have a flexible schedule that can fit your pups needs. I can manage high-energy pups and dogs with separation anxiety. I have air conditioning and I have an insurance plan through Pet Care Insurance.

About: I have experience taking care of several types of dogs, cats and even a bird in the last 5 years. Every week, my work does a “Buddy Day” with the humane society where we have an adoptable dog come hangout with us for the day and then I bring them back at the end of the day. This has exposed me to so many different types and personalities of dogs! I’m also comfortable giving medication and taking care of pets that may be under the weather. I’m currently working full time during Tuesday-Saturday (7:30am-3pm) but am able to leave for lunch to check on or let your pet outside to potty or walk. I work and live in downtown Durango. I’m available daily in the evenings. The safety and well-being of your pet is my #1 priority. Making sure gates and locks are secure, proper leashes/harnesses are being used, following all the care instructions exactly and sending regular updates (if you’d like) to keep communication open are a few things I’ve found keep your pet safe and happy. I will accept requests every day of the week unless I’m out of town. I work at the Durango Hot Springs as well but I’m very available! I live in a house with some friends that all love dogs. About: I have experience taking care of several types of dogs, cats and even a bird in the last 5 years. Every week, my work does a “Buddy Day” with the humane society where we have an adoptable dog come hangout with us for the day and then I bring them back at the end of the day. This has exposed me to so many different types and personalities of dogs! I’m also comfortable giving medication and taking care of pets that may be under the weather. I’m currently working full time during Tuesday-Saturday (7:30am-3pm) but am able to leave for lunch to check on or let your pet outside to potty or walk. I work and live in downtown Durango. I’m available daily in the evenings. The safety and well-being of your pet is my #1 priority. Making sure gates and locks are secure, proper leashes/harnesses are being used, following all the care instructions exactly and sending regular updates (if you’d like) to keep communication open are a few things I’ve found keep your pet safe and happy. In general, I just want to create an environment that your pet will thrive in.

About: I have always had at least 1 dog in my home and cared for many of my neighbor’s/friend’s/family member’s pets. In the course of that care I have administered medication, raised puppies, taken care of up to 5 dogs at one time, cared for elderly pets, helped pets with disabilities, and overall taken care of all the extra work that comes with being a pet caregiver. I have yet to meet a pet that I didn’t love. I have been my children’s stay-at-home parent for the last 9 years, so I have a great deal of experience as a caretaker in general and I have raised them to always be kind and respectful to all animals. I am available for walks or drop-ins: Sunday-Wednesday before 2pm, Thursday & Friday all day, and Saturday after 3pm. I can also swing by after work at about 11:30p if needed and close to town. I have a fenced yard with 2 friendly dogs and 2 kids(8&9 years old who will not come in contact without your expressed permission and would never be left alone with them), I will care for your pets and house as attentively and lovingly as I care for my own home and pets. I am working on getting certified in pet first aid, but I currently have an app that can be used as a quick guide with videos in an emergency that was put out by the Red Cross.

About: I've been an animal lover all my life. I started watching rabbits, cats, dogs, and turtles when I was just a kid. I now have a 2 year old Heeler-Great Prynees mix that I've raised and trained from 12 weeks old! Indy is the light of my life and best friend to all. He is extremely friendly and playful with great communication and boundaries. I also was foster parent at the local shelter for eleven different dogs ranging from 4 weeks to 12 years old. I took care of these dogs for an extended period of time until they could find loving forever homes. I have plenty of experience caring for, feeding, walking, cuddling, managing reactive dogs, and training. As a self employed individual, I'm available to work within your schedule and would love to take your pups on long hikes or simple give them some belly rubs on the couch. I also offer additional dog training for $75/hr whether it's just for an hour or during a sit. I am self employed and extremely flexible!
