About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, starting from a young age. My parents had a little farm and a love for Boxers, a very high energy breed. I have a preference for Great-Danes and other gentle giants, but I love all dogs! Our 1.5 acre backyard is fenced and ready for your pet to play, potty, and chill with our 8 year-old graying pup, Olympus. I walk my pet one mile everyday and often run another mile on my own since my dog is elderly and cannot run with me. Meals are twice, sometimes three times a day. I clean the floors, rugs, and all doggie blankets once a week to maintain a hygienic environment. I work from home so I am always around. I have a flexible schedule that can fit your pups needs. I can manage high-energy pups and dogs with separation anxiety. I have air conditioning and I have an insurance plan through Pet Care Insurance.

If your dog is trained off-leash, has solid recall, and is either good with other dogs or muzzle trained, I offer pack hikes and walks. I have a large fenced yard with a dog door that goes into the main living areas. My two dogs & 4 cats are onsite. Your dog must be good with cats and other dogs or be muzzle-trained to attend daycare or boarding at my home. Your dogs will get a walk or adventure during daycare (unless you prefer them not to, in which case they must be able to stay home alone for 1-2 hours either kenneled or loose without becoming destructive). To attend off-leash pack walks/hikes, your dogs must demonstrate reliable recall even when triggers are present (such as an other dogs, wildlife, cats, cars, etc.). About: I’ve been a pet owner for nearly 30 years — from growing up with our family’s Border Collies and house cats, to raising my own Jack Russells throughout adulthood, to caring for two rescue kittens in college. Every week, my work does a “Buddy Day” with the humane society where we have an adoptable dog come hangout with us for the day and then I bring them back at the end of the day. I have two big dogs (one is 135lbs and the other is 70lbs) who are a bit leash reactive after deer/cats. I typically never walk them together because they are so strong. Sara brought over her harnesses and was able to get them to walk by her side and have them ignore distractions - AMAZING! She sent me lots of videos, pictures, and updates. About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals in my life, including cats and dogs. Because of my experience, I’m familiar with the many different scenarios that can come up during pet care. I’m currently unemployed and providing full time services. This means I can work around you or your pets schedule and house/pet sit for hours or days at a time if needed. Frequent potty breaks and walks are also no problem for me. I’m very attentive to animal needs and can recognize different types of body language very quickly. About: Since childhood, I’ve always felt most at home among nonhuman animals, and I’ll never understand humans who treat animals as less deserving of love, respect, and care. My animals are my family, and I promise to care for your animals as if they were my own. I have experience with cats and dogs of all temperaments. One of my dogs has a history of reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. I feel very comfortable managing this type of behavior using treats, ecollar, muzzle, prevention techniques, and communication with other dog-owners. I’m also experienced managing groups of dogs off leash and will work with your dog to reinforce good recall and safety behaviors (such as stopping at intersections, waiting before they go out of sight, sitting for cars, passing other dogs, etc.). I am a writer who works from home. I am available for daycare, afternoon walks & drop-ins, and select boarding for dogs who get along well with my two dogs and are good with cats. If your dog is trained off-leash, has solid recall, and is either good with other dogs or muzzle trained, I offer pack hikes and walks. I have a large fenced yard with a dog door that goes into the main living areas. My two dogs & 4 cats are onsite. Your dog must be good with cats and other dogs or be muzzle-trained to attend daycare or boarding at my home. Your dogs will get a walk or adventure during daycare (unless you prefer them not to, in which case they must be able to stay home alone for 1-2 hours either kenneled or loose without becoming destructive). To attend off-leash pack walks/hikes, your dogs must demonstrate reliable recall even when triggers are present (such as an other dogs, wildlife, cats, cars, etc.).
