About: Hello! My name is Sav and I loveee animals. Im still getting to know the town of Durango while I’m in school for wildlife biology so I'm trying to make some extra money. I was a dog walker for my previous client for 2 years and 5 days a week and I have many references. I also have experience in housesitting, dog sitting, raising puppies etc. I have a beautiful dog named Fera who is amazing with kids, babies, cats, and everything except squirrels. About: Household pets have been a part of my life since childhood, and I have cared for pets of my own, primarily cats and dogs, throughout my adult life as well. My partner and I have two dogs of our own that we adopted from the LPC Humane Society and they are our fur babies. I know from personal experience what it's like to need assurance that your pet is being well cared for and in good hands, and I'm happy to give you that same peace of mind. I currently work from home full time and have a fairly flexible schedule that I can adapt on a weekly basis depending on what's on my calendar. I typically am most easily available morning, mid-day, and evenings for drop-ins or walks. I have two dogs of my own currently and I have been a pet owner for most of my adult life, primarily caring for cats and dogs. I'm plenty familiar with the routines of pet care and understand that your pets will have their own unique care needs and personality quirks. I'm happy to take your pup on a walk and I'm familiar with many of the good trails in town.

We’ll always follow your preferences and your pet’s comfort level, and Jessie will only join us if it’s something you specifically want. About: I grew up with two cats, two dogs, a lizard, and a bunny. I love animals and understand they need care just like we humans do. I have spent time fostering puppies and would love to foster kittens on day. I have a big heart and am interested meeting animals, and making sure people know their animals are in good hands. I just finished a trail work season and have a lot of time on my hands. I would love to help people out and watch their animals! I will be substitute teaching this school year with availability to walk dogs during the day and after school! My landlord does not allow pets in the home. I would love to care for your pets in your home, whether that’s stopping in several times a day or staying over night for however long! I am very clean, respectful, and trustworthy. I grew up pet sitting in Chicago and would also water people’s gardens, grocery shop for them before they got back from vacation, and tidy up their home upon request!

About: Dog bio - I've been caring for animals of all kinds my whole life. Growing up my family had many different pets ranging from dogs, to cats, to rodents. I've learned to many unique aspects of caring for different creatures of different species and temperaments and I love them all the same. I treat animals with respect and patience and have often heard that aggressive or nervous animals take a liking to me when they normally don't like strangers. As of right now I am the proud dog mom of a beautiful Siberian husky mix with an autoimmune disorder called lupus. She is my first medically fragile dog and I have been managing her medication and symptoms for about 2 years now. She has made amazing progress with her condition under my care and made me more confident that I could care for animals with any types of health condition. I also have experience with senior dogs and puppies as well as cats! I don't currently have a job and I am taking a break from college so I have plenty of free time for your babies! I'm available for pet sitting at your home during weekdays, and I can walk your dog any time, distance, or day of the week. I cannot do overnight boarding for most animals at my home, as I have a dog and cat that both don't get along with other animals of their species. I first started hosting pups through Rover when I lived in Tahoe City, Ca— and am really happy I am able to do the same here in Durango, Co. Im a field biologist that opens up my availability when I’m off and have nothing but time for your furry family member. Don’t hesitate to reach out if my availability isn’t open— I’ve accepted several requests when my calendar has said I was unavailable. We live on 1.3 acres and our house backs up to the national forest. I’ll take your pup to a local trail for a walk/hike as weather permits. Our whole property is fenced in with an 7.5’ tall fence! That’s over an acre for running around and playing! To ensure safety and plenty of attention, I only host dogs from one family at a time. I work full time job during the day, but I am available for in home pet care and training (extra fee) if requested, throughout the week. About: My daughters says I’m a dog whisperer: I’ve had and cared for dogs since I was 8 years old. I take my own dog with me most everywhere I go. About: Does your dog need a vacation from their everyday life while you’re on vacation? I’m Tarah. I have a 9 year old boxer mix Mack and 4 year old Tabby cat Juniper. We live an active lifestyle while having a full time job. Your dog will enjoy all the finer things in dog life such as Running, skiing, hiking in the mountains, swimming and paddle boarding . Your pup will get to enjoy the great outdoors and after spoiled with lots of treats and fluffy blanket snuggles. I currently work 8 hour shifts at the hospital. I come home during lunch to let my dog out to walk. She also gets to run, ski , or hike before or after work or both. I live in a cottage have a fenced in yard. Pets have access to the yard all day. There’s plenty of dog and cat toys to play with!

About: I have a big heart for all animals. I’m kind and patient and enjoy playing with dogs and cats and even sitting on the couch snugging up to them. About: I have 2 mini dachshunds & a golden retriever that the loves of my life. I take care of friend and family dogs as well and have taken care of up to 9 dogs at once! I love animals and it brings me joy to spend time with them and make them happy. I manage a country club in Durango, I work evenings typically not going to work till 2:00-3:00 so I have tons of morning time to spend with your animals! I get off around 9:00 every night. I do not offer bringing other pets into my home. In others homes i find it important to bring pets outside and ensure proper enrichment!

About: I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes, sizes and demeanor for many years. I started professionally working with dogs in January of 2021. I currently work as an animal care technician and a medical assistant at LaPlata County Humane Society. I am very comfortable administering meds, walking/ hiking, entertaining, and socializing pups! I have a soft spot in my heart for felines as well! My first best friend ever was a cat and I have rehabilitated many strays and litters since! I promise a safe and calm environment for your animal where they will get plenty of love and attention! I recently adopted my own pup and she comes with me most places these days.
