About: I have a senior pup back home, we rescued her years ago and now she’s living her best life all spoiled with seasonal bananas. I have another 4 year german shepherd who’s high functioning and interactive, I love taking him to the dog park and out for pup-cups. I have lots of free time between classes to check on/walk your puppies! If your pups need more supervision I’d be happy to stay at the house between classes to keep your pets company. Your pet would always be in my sight when we’re outside, and I’d follow your instructions for them inside. I clean up after myself and I pack my own snacks.

About: Household pets have been a part of my life since childhood, and I have cared for pets of my own, primarily cats and dogs, throughout my adult life as well. My partner and I have two dogs of our own that we adopted from the LPC Humane Society and they are our fur babies. I know from personal experience what it's like to need assurance that your pet is being well cared for and in good hands, and I'm happy to give you that same peace of mind. I currently work from home full time and have a fairly flexible schedule that I can adapt on a weekly basis depending on what's on my calendar. I typically am most easily available morning, mid-day, and evenings for drop-ins or walks. I have two dogs of my own currently and I have been a pet owner for most of my adult life, primarily caring for cats and dogs. I'm plenty familiar with the routines of pet care and understand that your pets will have their own unique care needs and personality quirks. I'm happy to take your pup on a walk and I'm familiar with many of the good trails in town.

About: I have always had at least 1 dog in my home and cared for many of my neighbor’s/friend’s/family member’s pets. In the course of that care I have administered medication, raised puppies, taken care of up to 5 dogs at one time, cared for elderly pets, helped pets with disabilities, and overall taken care of all the extra work that comes with being a pet caregiver. I have yet to meet a pet that I didn’t love. I have been my children’s stay-at-home parent for the last 9 years, so I have a great deal of experience as a caretaker in general and I have raised them to always be kind and respectful to all animals. *My kids would not come in contact with your pets without your express permission and would never be left alone with your pets for any length of time* Other than odds jobs and side work, this will be my primary job. The only times I’m not available is during pick-ups and drop-offs for school and after-school activities. I have a fenced yard with 2 friendly dogs and 2 kids(8&9 years old who will not come in contact without your expressed permission and would never be left alone with them), I will care for your pets and house as attentively and lovingly as I care for my own home and pets. I am a home owner with two kids in a local school, so I am deeply rooted in Durango. I care deeply for pets and prefer their company over the company of most people. I am working on getting certified in pet first aid, but I currently have an app that can be used as a quick guide with videos in an emergency that was put out by the Red Cross.

About: I’ve worked at a couple of veterinary clinics as a receptionist and also helped with kennel care, which gave me valuable experience handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m comfortable reading dog behavior, keeping them calm in new environments, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I understand how important it is to follow routines, give attention to detail, and treat every pet with patience and love. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure your dog feels right at home. I’m currently balancing a part-time job and my own business, so my schedule can vary week to week. I’ll always be clear about my availability in advance and do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs. Reliability and communication are really important to me, and I make sure each pet I care for gets the time and attention they deserve. I provide care in your home so your pet can stay in a familiar, comfortable environment. I always follow your instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walks to any routines or quirks that help your pet feel secure. I take extra care to keep doors and gates locked, make sure water bowls stay full, and give plenty of love and attention while you’re away. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, relaxed, and cared for until you’re back home.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since my childhood and adore any sorts of pets! I have a flexible schedule and can walk and play with your pet or stay for an overnight so your pet feels comfortable at it’s home. About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life and love meeting new furry friends. I trained my family’s dog how to sit, stay, lay down, roll-over, shake and come and love taking care of friends’ dogs when they go out of town. I’m working fully remote in a job with flexible hours, so I will have plenty of time to take care of all the animals. I love taking walks every couple of hours to break up the workday and would love to share those walks with friendly doggos. I have no animals at home. I live in a pet friendly building and will always respect your home and belongings when visiting your animals at your home.

I was a dog walker for my previous client for 2 years and 5 days a week and I have many references. I also have experience in housesitting, dog sitting, raising puppies etc. I have a beautiful dog named Fera who is amazing with kids, babies, cats, and everything except squirrels. About: Does your dog need a vacation from their everyday life while you’re on vacation? I’m Tarah. I have a 9 year old boxer mix Mack and 4 year old Tabby cat Juniper. We live an active lifestyle while having a full time job. Your dog will enjoy all the finer things in dog life such as Running, skiing, hiking in the mountains, swimming and paddle boarding . Your pup will get to enjoy the great outdoors and after spoiled with lots of treats and fluffy blanket snuggles. I currently work 8 hour shifts at the hospital. I come home during lunch to let my dog out to walk. She also gets to run, ski , or hike before or after work or both. I live in a cottage have a fenced in yard. Pets have access to the yard all day. There’s plenty of dog and cat toys to play with!

About: I have had dogs my whole life! I believe it is important for your dog to get exercise on a daily basis to stay happy and healthy! Cuddles are huge in our home! I can help with any training or senior care that is needed as I have had many dogs of all ages :) I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your four legged fiends! I do offer boarding and I do have another dog to keep your babies company:) I have a balcony that I usually will leave the door open to and I have a big grass area to take them potty every 2-4 hours on leash! I also can crate your dog if needed :)

About: I’ve taken care of my own cats and dogs, as well as my neighbor’s pets since I was 10 years old. I can do it all, and love taking any dogs for long walks if they’re up for it! I treat animals with the same respect I treat humans with; love, kindness, and empathy. I just love spending my time with such loving animals! I just moved to Durango after spending the winter in South America, and am waiting to hear back about some jobs I applied for. In the meantime, I am just trying to make a little extra money on the side, while spending time with pets and helping out the community! I can easily do anything that is asked of me, if I am taking care of your dog in your home. Also, I can take your dog anywhere that is necessary such as specific parks or trails that you or them may like, or can go to the store to pick up supplies.
