About: I've had a special bond with dogs my whole life, and have fallen in love with every dog that's come my way. I currently have two dogs back home with high energy levels. Growing up I've always been responsible for taking care of them, like going for walks, and assisting and training a service dog. I miss having furry friends around so I've been spending lots of time at the humane society. I go on daily walks and would love a furry companion to keep me company and get the zoomies out together. I'm currently a full-time college student who has lots of flexible hours. When I'm not in school or studying I spend my time walking around town, going to local trails, and climbing trees! Information I would like to know: what you allow and don't allow your dogs to do on walks. What kind of exercise does your dog like (running, playing catch)? Do they interact well with other dogs? Any other information I need to know to properly care for your dog?

About: *currently located in Durango, CO* Hi! We’re Britt & James, and we’d love to care for your pets while you’re away. We’re animal lovers with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. Together, we’ve spent years pet sitting through Rover and caring for friends’ and family’s pets, as well as pets of our own. Our biggest teacher has been our own rescue pup, Jessie. Since adopting her, we’ve learned firsthand how important patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s individual personality can be. Watching her grow into a confident, adventurous companion has only strengthened our love for caring for animals. We recently relocated to Durango for the Summer/Fall and are excited to meet fellow pet lovers in the community! While we’re not offering boarding in our home, we’re currently available for: • Dog walking • Drop-in visits • House sitting • Puppy care • Senior pet care • Medication administration (oral medications) Whether your dog wants a hike, a stroll through the neighborhood, a game of fetch, or just someone to keep them company while you’re away, we’re happy to tailor every visit to their routine and personality. One of us works remotely, which means we’re often able to provide flexible scheduling. We pride ourselves on being dependable, communicative, and treating every home and pet with the same care we give our own. You’ll receive plenty of photo updates, thoughtful communication, and the peace of mind that your furry family member is in caring, capable hands. We can’t wait to meet you and your pets! Our schedule is very flexible, which allows us to accommodate a wide variety of pets’ routines. One of us works remotely, so we’re often available throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, and companionship. For house sitting, we do our best to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and bedtime habits. We understand that consistency helps pets feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is an early riser, enjoys multiple walks a day, or simply loves having someone nearby for company, we’re happy to tailor our care to their individual needs. We’ll also send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for. When caring for pets, our goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. We’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding schedules and medications to favorite walking routes, playtime, and bedtime routines. We know every pet is different, and we take the time to learn what makes them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Our rescue dog, Jessie, absolutely loves making new dog friends and is very social! If you’re interested, we’re happy to bring her along for walks or playdates to provide your pup with some extra companionship. That said, we completely respect that not every dog enjoys other dogs or may simply prefer their own space. We’ll always follow your preferences and your pet’s comfort level, and Jessie will only join us if it’s something you specifically want. Above all, we treat every pet as if they were our own and every home with the utmost care and respect.

About: Hello! My name is Sav and I loveee animals. Im still getting to know the town of Durango while I’m in school for wildlife biology so I'm trying to make some extra money. I was a dog walker for my previous client for 2 years and 5 days a week and I have many references. I also have experience in housesitting, dog sitting, raising puppies etc. I have a beautiful dog named Fera who is amazing with kids, babies, cats, and everything except squirrels. I look forward to meeting your family with paws!!🫶🐾🐾 I’m currently in school, so my schedule is everywhere and very open. Text me and we can work out what’s best for you and me! I have 7 acres of land in the back of my apartments that is basically a fenced dog park with a pond. My place is extremely pet friendly and far from busy roads. :)

About: I've had pets since a child, and have been working with dogs and training puppies for several years. I've been involved in my children's multiple 4H projects, learning how to care and provide for many animals - which has only strengthened our love and commitment to our pets! I'm also a nurse, and have some vet tech experience - so I know how to safely watch and care for your pet! Your pets will have my full time and attention, as I currently available most days and work on a per diem basis. Animals cared for will have frequent bathroom breaks and plenty of good exercise to keep them happy! Also happy to bring your pup for field trips/walks around town! I will give your pet lots of attention & will ensure they get the exercise, love, and care they deserve. I am available throughout the day for frequent bathroom breaks, walks & exercise, and can stay in your home or visit regularly as needed/desired. I will be attentive to your care instructions.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets by providing daily feeding, fresh water, and maintaining clean living spaces. I regularly walked dogs, ensured they received enough exercise, and monitored their behavior to notice any changes in health or mood. I also helped with basic grooming tasks such as brushing fur and bathing, which kept pets comfortable and healthy. Through this experience, I developed patience, responsibility, and a strong understanding of how to meet the physical and emotional needs of animals. Pet care would fit well into my schedule because I can plan feeding, walks, and check-ins around my daily responsibilities. I’m able to manage my time effectively, making sure pets receive consistent care, attention, and exercise while still keeping up with my other commitments. I make sure I give them a reasonable time to relax and make sure they are let outside and have access to anything they need. I would also give walks based on the animals needs.

About: Household pets have been a part of my life since childhood, and I have cared for pets of my own, primarily cats and dogs, throughout my adult life as well. My partner and I have two dogs of our own that we adopted from the LPC Humane Society and they are our fur babies. I know from personal experience what it's like to need assurance that your pet is being well cared for and in good hands, and I'm happy to give you that same peace of mind. I currently work from home full time and have a fairly flexible schedule that I can adapt on a weekly basis depending on what's on my calendar. I typically am most easily available morning, mid-day, and evenings for drop-ins or walks. I have two dogs of my own currently and I have been a pet owner for most of my adult life, primarily caring for cats and dogs. I'm plenty familiar with the routines of pet care and understand that your pets will have their own unique care needs and personality quirks. I'm happy to take your pup on a walk and I'm familiar with many of the good trails in town.

About: My daughters says I’m a dog whisperer: I’ve had and cared for dogs since I was 8 years old. I take my own dog with me most everywhere I go. I am able to work remotely with a proper internet connection so I will be with your sweet pup all day long! Plenty of potty breaks. I am happy to walk your dog daily, it’s good for both of us. I am happy to have them loose with me rather than crated.

About: Does your dog need a vacation from their everyday life while you’re on vacation? I’m Tarah. I have a 10 year old boxer mix Mack and 4 year old Tabby cat Juniper. We live an active lifestyle while having a full time job. Your dog will enjoy all the finer things in dog life such as Running, skiing, hiking in the mountains, swimming and paddle boarding . Your pup will get to enjoy the great outdoors and after spoiled with lots of treats and fluffy blanket snuggles. I work 8 hour shifts at the hospital. I come home during lunch to let her out. She gets a hike or run before and after work. I live in a cottage have a fenced in yard. Pets have access to the yard all day. There’s plenty of dog and cat toys to play with!

About: I have 2 mini dachshunds & a golden retriever that the loves of my life. I take care of friend and family dogs as well and have taken care of up to 9 dogs at once! I love animals and it brings me joy to spend time with them and make them happy. I manage a country club in Durango, I work evenings typically not going to work till 2:00-3:00 so I have tons of morning time to spend with your animals! I get off around 9:00 every night. I do not offer bringing other pets into my home. In others homes i find it important to bring pets outside and ensure proper enrichment!

About: Hi! I'm Madeline - aka friend to many dogs. Way back in college, I adopted the free shelter dog - so I'm very skilled in handling pups who may be a little special/quirky/super silly. Like many, I grew up with dogs of many different sizes + personalities. I can proudly say... I've always been the go-to pet sitter for friends/family :) And with that, I extend the same kindness and care to your pups while you are away. I'm a freelancer web developer - so my schedule is very flexible. Reach out with any times, last minute booking requests, misc tasks - I can likely be available! Depending on you & your dogs preference, we can do a range of activities. From a trail run/hike - to a mellow stroll listening to the birds - to playing in your backyard with stuffies. You just let me know what you think is best, I'm very adaptable! I'm open to boarding small/med size dogs at my home or yours on a case by case basis! Or late evenings + early mornings, if your dog can be left alone at night. I'd prefer to get to know your dog/s through walks then happy to discuss :) I'm available most days & most times! As a freelancer, I can work around your preferred times for dog walking and drop ins. If you need to leave your dog overnight - I can attend to your dogs late in the evening for bedtime & come back early in the morning. I'm very good at reading dog body language, and do my best to make them feel comfortable. My life revolves around my dog, and I provide the same exact kindness and care to yours!

About: I've had dogs my whole life, owned a dog daycare business, worked with many dog trainers and animal rescue organizations, and have volunteered as a trained dog handler for the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. I love caring for all varieties of doggos and especially enjoy taking them on hikes around Durango. I have a playful Bernadoodle who is thrilled to play with dogs of all ages and sizes. We can’t wait to meet your pup! I have a flexible remote-work schedule and hike with my own dog every day, so I’m available most times throughout the week. I’m happy to work within your schedule. I am very active and take my 4-year-old Bernadoodle, Narly, on several mile walks or hikes every day. Narly loves to play and is friendly to all dogs regardless of size and breed. We often go to the dog park as well. Dogs are encouraged to hang out with me on all furniture, and we have lots of play time. We also have a small fenced-in yard for easy-access outdoor time. I show the pups lots of love and affection, but can be strict if needed, depending on how you typically parent your own dog.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, horses, and many other farm animals for more than 10 years. Friends, family members, and neighbors have counted on me to provide exceptional care and attention to their beloved pets! I’m in an online grad school program and have free time in Durango a few days a week and weekends. I can provide care to your pets for early mornings, throughout the day, and into the evening. I have a well-behaved, very friendly 11 month old puppy who I love very much! In any house sitting bookings, she will come with me. About: I've taken care of a multitude of pets since a small boy, but i have over 16 years experience training military, police and pet dogs. I work full time job during the day, but I am available for in home pet care and training (extra fee) if requested, throughout the week. I have a lifetime of care experience for dogs, but i am trained in basic dog care and can treat and identify minor issues and respond accordingly.

About: Dog bio - I've been caring for animals of all kinds my whole life. Growing up my family had many different pets ranging from dogs, to cats, to rodents. I've learned to many unique aspects of caring for different creatures of different species and temperaments and I love them all the same. I treat animals with respect and patience and have often heard that aggressive or nervous animals take a liking to me when they normally don't like strangers. As of right now I am the proud dog mom of a beautiful Siberian husky mix with an autoimmune disorder called lupus. She is my first medically fragile dog and I have been managing her medication and symptoms for about 2 years now. She has made amazing progress with her condition under my care and made me more confident that I could care for animals with any types of health condition. I also have experience with senior dogs and puppies as well as cats! I don't currently have a job and I am taking a break from college so I have plenty of free time for your babies! I'm available for pet sitting at your home during weekdays, and I can walk your dog any time, distance, or day of the week. I cannot do overnight boarding for most animals at my home, as I have a dog and cat that both don't get along with other animals of their species. For pet sitting all I need is the expectations for your home and your dogs care. List any health conditions, diet specialties, behavioral issues, or just quirks your animal has that may be worth mentioning

About: I have a big heart for all animals. I’m kind and patient and enjoy playing with dogs and cats and even sitting on the couch snugging up to them. I’ve had a cat that was diabetic, had small dogs and cats that I’ve kept till they past away and now have 6 Frenchies and 2 bigger dogs and cats and a lot more animals I’ve taken care of at my moms house and have a kitten and puppy of my own now. I work for the city of Durango and I have Fridays and weekends off and I would love to spend that time walking dogs and would help me get out of the house. P.s if you schedule for a dog walk Monday through Thursday it will have to be AFTER 5pm, thank you! I am always watching and listening to make sure there not in anything and I have a little camera in my kitchen so I can watch the animals and make sure there okay while I’m at work or running errands.

About: I went to school originally for animal science and veterinary technology. I worked in veterinary ERs, general practice, shelters for 6 years out of school. While I have hung up my hat as a vet tech officially in 2009 after I found a passion for a career in nonprofit and outdoor education, I still maintained several dog/cat sitting clients in Telluride where I lived over the course of fifteen years on the side of my full time program director position for a busy summer camp. Now in my 40s I work from home or remotely, for the last six years, as a nonprofit consultant. I have one lab named Zappa who keeps me on my toes the way only labs know how. (I can always bring him with me to your home or let him stay at home.) My lifestyle is active and I stay flexible so I can work remotely for travel opportunities (or to stay with your fur babies in your home!). I love running, hiking, surfing, rafting and riding bikes. Senior pets, meds and special instructions are no problem for me with my certified vet tech background. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones! I split my time between Mancos/Durango/Telluride so can stay wherever you are or your pet can stay with me, or I can do drop ins. Sometimes I have to drive up to Telluride for client meetings but would know ahead of time and plan your pet sitting around that or just not schedule anything during that time. My house is very clean, uncluttered and comfortable. I have an unfenced yard on 4 acres but would follow your lead on this one. My dog uses a halo collar for his fence boundary at my house. I’ve cared for dogs who need leash walks only too.
