About: I’ve worked at a couple of veterinary clinics as a receptionist and also helped with kennel care, which gave me valuable experience handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m comfortable reading dog behavior, keeping them calm in new environments, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I understand how important it is to follow routines, give attention to detail, and treat every pet with patience and love. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure your dog feels right at home. I’m currently balancing a part-time job and my own business, so my schedule can vary week to week. I’ll always be clear about my availability in advance and do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs. Reliability and communication are really important to me, and I make sure each pet I care for gets the time and attention they deserve. I provide care in your home so your pet can stay in a familiar, comfortable environment. I always follow your instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walks to any routines or quirks that help your pet feel secure. I take extra care to keep doors and gates locked, make sure water bowls stay full, and give plenty of love and attention while you’re away. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, relaxed, and cared for until you’re back home.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 5 years old and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. Since I’m home most of the day, your pet will have constant supervision, care, and companionship. I understand how important pets are to families, and I’ll treat your dog like my own while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently have an open schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and overnight care, and I can stay flexible with different routines and needs. I have an 8-month-old female dog and a cat in my home, so I’m very used to caring for animals daily and making sure they stay safe, comfortable, and happy. About: Hi! My name is Jake. I grew up in a house full of pets and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I work full time at Fort Lewis, so I am completely available after 4 pm Monday through Friday with an hour during the day for walk breaks. During the weekend I can be fully available. I am available for any type of house sitting! Whether it be a quick midday walk or week-long stay, I am there to keep your pets comfortable in their home environment, on their schedule.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since birth! My dad was a k-9 cop so I’ve been around all kinds of dogs. I love cats too and my cats are my babies!!! I am looking for sitting closer to the downtown Durango area or Home Depot area. I teach preschool in town so I would love to be able to spend quality time with your pets in the mornings before work and in the evenings and weekends after work. I would prefer to be at a client’s home. I live far out of town so it would be more convenient for me to follow the instructions of the client.

About: Have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life! Never had a year without living with dogs, cats, and the many other lovely creatures I have as pets. I’m all about getting outside with animals and having fun! I’m currently a F+B manager working nights and have Sunday and Mondays off. Every morning, 6am -12pm, open for any adventure and/or pet care. Love taking care of senior dogs and running with high energy pups. I have no fence around my yard and keep all dogs on a leash or tether when outside and always accompanied when outside. I live right on the Animas River and love to walk my pets down. I have a 3 year old female dog Daisy and a 1 year old black male cat named Felix. Both are friendly and love making new friends! Will always take care of a clients pet and home like it’s my own.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life and love meeting new furry friends. I trained my family’s dog how to sit, stay, lay down, roll-over, shake and come and love taking care of friends’ dogs when they go out of town. I’m working fully remote in a job with flexible hours, so I will have plenty of time to take care of all the animals. I love taking walks every couple of hours to break up the workday and would love to share those walks with friendly doggos. I have no animals at home. About: Does your dog need a vacation from their everyday life while you’re on vacation? I’m Tarah. I have a 9 year old boxer mix Mack and 4 year old Tabby cat Juniper. We live an active lifestyle while having a full time job. Your dog will enjoy all the finer things in dog life such as Running, skiing, hiking in the mountains, swimming and paddle boarding . Your pup will get to enjoy the great outdoors and after spoiled with lots of treats and fluffy blanket snuggles. I currently work 8 hour shifts at the hospital. I come home during lunch to let my dog out to walk. She also gets to run, ski , or hike before or after work or both. I live in a cottage have a fenced in yard. Pets have access to the yard all day. There’s plenty of dog and cat toys to play with!

About: I have had dogs as pets most of my life but love any kind of pet. I have also fostered puppies and kittens. I am responsible and trustworthy and will love and care for your pets while you are gone. Drop ins, walks or overnight care at your home. About: Family animals have been part of my life since I was 7 years old, so I have extensive experience in the emotional and practical needs when taking care of animals. I understand that pets are a part of the family and I will pass this compassion on to your loved ones. I love to play and spend quality time with them to keep their energy high and healthy, especially when their family is temporarily away. I understand that the absence of a loved one can be taxing on animals, so I will practice extra attentiveness to ensure they still feel lots of love! I recently moved to Durango and my schedule with my other job is fairly flexible. My living situation (Roomate who is allergic to dogs and cats) requires that I care for your animals outside of my home (no boarding). When your pet is in my care, we would spend quality time outside and inside! I can alter our activities to the needs of your animal. I enjoy taking walks, playing games, and giving them lots of pets!

About: Household pets have been a part of my life since childhood, and I have cared for pets of my own, primarily cats and dogs, throughout my adult life as well. My partner and I have two dogs of our own that we adopted from the LPC Humane Society and they are our fur babies. I know from personal experience what it's like to need assurance that your pet is being well cared for and in good hands, and I'm happy to give you that same peace of mind. I currently work from home full time and have a fairly flexible schedule that I can adapt on a weekly basis depending on what's on my calendar. I typically am most easily available morning, mid-day, and evenings for drop-ins or walks.
