Experienced and reliable pet caregiver located in Durango. I regularly provide care for 8 dogs in town and have the ability to work with and adapt to various pet personalities. I'm fit, enjoy being outside walking, and love animals (especially dogs).

Safety is always my number one priority. The main concerns in-town are vehicles, other animals, and foreign objects on the ground. I will care for your pet responsibly and with compassion. Every animal is unique and I will take the time to get to know your pet in order to be able to best meet their needs.

What a delightful person Matthew is. It was clear from the moment we first messaged on Rover that he would be conscientious and reliable. He not only was willing to work with my scheduling needs but once booked he provided timely follow up and confirmation. Once he arrived he showed great care and attention with LaLa and was able to be a calm presence for her while we were away. We gladly are already booked again to have Matthew sit with LaLa. Highly recommend.

Matthew is A+++ in every way! He is great with my dog Mia! She loves him and is always excited for him to come take her for walks!! He is always punctual, he’s personable, trustworthy and dependable.
Matthew is thorough, calm, and communicative. I have a special needs dog, and Matthew knew exactly how to handle my pup in a respectful way. I’ve never seen my pup warm up to anyone that quickly! He put my mind at ease. A good sitter is worth its weight in gold, and I could not recommend Matthew enough. He goes above and beyond!

Schedule
I am currently open for pet care bookings 7 days a week. I will update my availability regularly on the Rover calendar to ensure accuracy.
