Experienced and reliable pet caregiver located in Durango. I regularly provide care for 8 dogs in town and have the ability to work with and adapt to various pet personalities. I'm fit, enjoy being outside walking, and love animals (especially dogs).

Safety is always my number one priority. The main concerns in-town are vehicles, other animals, and foreign objects on the ground. I will care for your pet responsibly and with compassion. Every animal is unique and I will take the time to get to know your pet in order to be able to best meet their needs.

Matthew is A+++ in every way! He is great with my dog Mia! She loves him and is always excited for him to come take her for walks!! He is always punctual, he’s personable, trustworthy and dependable.
Matthew is thorough, calm, and communicative. I have a special needs dog, and Matthew knew exactly how to handle my pup in a respectful way. I’ve never seen my pup warm up to anyone that quickly! He put my mind at ease. A good sitter is worth its weight in gold, and I could not recommend Matthew enough. He goes above and beyond!
Matthew watched my older Frenchie while we took a day trip for some challenging hikes. My pup adjusted immediately and was so comfortable at Matt’s place. It’s a literal dog haven. He’s been so chill since we picked him up. Little dude loves it there! Highly recommend Matt if you’re traveling and needing a trustworthy sitter.
